Sorrento Pier and the drive on/ drive off Sorrento - Queenscliff ferry terminal. The pier is split into 2 halves with a fence. Public pier side and the ferry side. Great views from both. Kiosk at the terminal for light meals and snacks, beverages etc. Paid parking at the nearby public car park, minimum $5 for 5 hours. Pay at the terminal building or via an App.
Great ride, motorcycle stowed fast and efficiently. Very reasonable $35 one way to Queenscliff. Very popular service on this Sunday. On the hour sailings and very prompt.
Lovely place. Easy to get on and off the ferry. Great park short walk up the path from the jetty. Lots of shops too.

It is a 40 min ride from Sorrento to Queenscliff.
It was an easy ride however it was hard to get on the deck as the lift wasn't working and the stairs are a bit too much for people with less mobility or pram.
We were at the wharf an hour early as it was advised on the ticket but there isn't much too do at the wharf while waiting for the ferry to come.
The cars get parked a bit too close to each other on the ferry so it was a bit of hassle to gwt the baby capsule in and out of the car.
Never cross the bay with ferry since I'm in Melbourne, its so quick to get to destination, it was made me feel dizzy, but fun! And awesome view!!
