Review Encore Patisserie Cafe - South Hurstville

So disapointed today after previously being happy. Served by a woman with acrylic nails randomly missing( I hope not in the food) who said " is that all?" rudely when I bought two small slices for $15.To make matters worse the vanilla slice was like soggy weetbix and unedible .No wonder the place was dead .Half empty cabinets full of over-priced stale food with messy hand-written signs. So lucky I didnt buy a $70; small chocolate sponge or a $50 lemon tart. Is that all? Yeh that was more than enough thanks 🤮

I normally love the pies and sausage rolls from here, but u have changed the recipe that was the same since I was a young child, used to be the best around, now they are dry pies and sausage rolls dont tastes meaty anymore, pls go back to the old way

Recently ordered a Classic French Croquembouche. Fantastic Bakery, underrated for the south Hurstville area. The Cake was easy to order and was reasonable priced. 2 important factors, when you first approach a business, its reputation was quite high - so my expectations matched. The Cake was beautiful, packed to travel home with great instructions. The Cake was visually amazing and was the hit of the party. Will be using them for all my party needs

Genuine customer service and I must say, undeniably the very best Chocolate Mousse cake I have ever eaten. This cake is not too sweet, has an amazingly pleasing texture almost like ice-cream cake and when you try it, you know you've had that supremely high quality that is second to none. Impressed. Congratulations, Encore Patisserie!! 👏

Wonderful cakes, pastries and pies. Coffee has markedly improved but still not as good as some other local cafes. Our first choice always for large cakes and flans for home lunches and dinners. Only marked Encore down one star due to average coffee.

It was the lady and the boy. I wasn't aware that they were charging me when I asked. If they like to charge extra at least they should have let me know that this is the policy. The cakes are still delicious though. I would remove the feedback for you, now that you're aware of the incident.

Been twice - once years ago, and another time today. The mille-feuille was amazing then, and was just as delicious today! Bought a piece home for my family to try and they all loved it. Yum yum! Will be back!

The staff member asked our table to be quiet as she was trying to make a phone call. Quite rude. Tea served in a cracked teapot- which was replaced at our request. Food acceptable, but won’t be going back after the phone call incident.
