Review Sinners Family Restaurant - South Morang

After years of eating here was very disappointed with the food my partner and I received last night. We thought we would treat ourselves and get some nice takeaway to receive probably the worse meal I've had in a long time. We ordered Chicken Avocado and Chicken Camembert main meals. Both meals were tiny and tasteless. My chicken avocado meal come with a tiny bit of chicken and the avocado came with spring onion. My partners meal her chicken was already cut up and very small. Not sure if there is new owners but the quality of food has dropped. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.Very disappointed.

I have to say after years of loving this place we were so disappointed in our delivery tonight. At first I was told that the delivery would be a long 80 minute wait due to being short on delivery drivers. So I told them not to worry as I have young ones to feed. They then quickly informed me that they were all back and it would be delivered soon. I ordered and paid over the phone. 75 minutes later my food arrived so cold that it was like eating cardboard. My son actually choked on the cheese because it had gone cold and was like swallowing rubber. We also asked for no anchovies but our pizza was covered in them. After calling back the manager apologised but said nothing we can do now so next time we will give you 15% off your next order. Sorry but we won't be back. Something that cost over $60 had to go in the trash. Very disappointing!

Beautiful meals. Well presented. Well priced. Quite a selection of gluten-free meals. The restaurant lost a star due to the expense of alcohol. Everything else lovely. The family would attend again.

The service and food here is always amazing. It's one of my favourite restaurants to eat at. The prices are reasonable and won't break your wallet too.

Been struggling to find something half decent around the area and we finally found something good. Ordered parma pizza risotto everything was really good and tasty. Will be coming again!

Absolutely loved this placed. Food was delicious. Especially seafood crepe and mushroom steak. Yum! We use to order them on menulog and finally decided to dine in one day and not only the food was great but the service was awesome.

Had a take away. Really good taste, portion size is also very generous, staff is very friendly. Definitely gonna order again.

Went here a couple weeks ago with friends, very friendly place with nice ambience. The waitress was very pleasant and informed us on food that was popular among the locals as we were extremely indecisive. The food was also very nice - we loved the Garlic prawns. The Sinner's special pizza was also tasty. Will definitely come back!

Unfortunately, as we had to ring for our delivery order due to food intolerance, our meal was delivered with those items included. The mixed grill was not good. The steak was over cooked, the pork belly was fatty with uncooked rind and there were onions throughout. Disappointing and we won’t be coming back. Sorry

Great variety and quality of food, excellent service and cozy environment

I was disappointed when I got to the counter and the server told me they are no longer doing discounts through zomato.<br/><br/>She told me she had rang on the day to cancel but you can clearly see the same thing happened to someone 3 days ago.<br/><br/>I had the honey mustard chicken which was a bit too sweet, chicken was cooked nicely.<br/><br/>My husband had the pumpkin ravioli the sauce was very tasty and pasta cooked perfectly

Still can find this restaurant on Zomato Gold. But when we walked in and asked to use it, we were told that they are not with Zomato Gold. No notice. Zomato should remove it from Gold list as it may mislead consumers.

Walked in and ordered a small pizza and a drink. Lady asked me if it was take away and I asked if I could eat in. She said "no, only take away for small pizzas, but if you order a medium pizza then you can eat in". I said "So you won't let me eat inside if I'm eating a small pizza, only a medium pizza?" And she said "That's right". I then said "No thanks, just cancel please" and she said "Bye!". If that's not the dumbest thing I've ever experienced at a restaurant then I don't know what is. They just let business walk out the door due to a pizza size and I wasn't even rude at all. Get rid of her Sinners before she costs you more money. My whole family normally orders from here but I'll be making sure that none of them go there ever again. Hundreds of dollars lost for a small pizza. Well done!

Horrible service, rude staff. Food wasn’t the best overpriced, many other restaurants in the area for a better experience. Wouldn’t go back again.

Visited Sinners for the second time tonight and all 4 of us were again very happy. I'm keto and another one of our group is a gluten intolerant vegan; they are flexible, there's so many options, and the wait staff have patience and a good sense of humour when it comes to all of our questions! We all really enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back. Thank you!

honestly one of the best places i’ve eaten at in my 44 years .... don’t expect fast food, this is real home cooked meals made with love, i had the calamari for starter (which was melt in your mouth) and the lamb shanks for main which was to die for, great service too, thank you for an amazing meal! i’ll be back again and again

Got the $10 Hamburger meal, wasn't I surprised absolutely huge, and tasty.<br/>The Mrs got the $10 Chicken crepe, she also loved it.<br/>The Father-inlaw ordered the $10 Fish n' Chips, very tasty and he couldn't even eat it all.<br/>We'll be back, thanks<br/>Sinners.

No idea if food is any good.  Attempted to get delivery through Menu Log.  Restaurant then called me to inform me that they cannot deliver into my place of work and wanted me to meet them out the front.  I'm not able to do this - they said they would sort it out.  Menulog then called me to inform me that the restaurant had cancelled my order.  If the restaurant is unable to deliver adequately, it should be noted on their order page that this is the case.  Will not bother to ever try them again or eat in.

Food & drink, was nice but it was very humid, very loud, i even asked them to put the Airconditioning on, she said it is. Nearly fainted a few times,

Literally THE WORST PLACE ever!!!!<br/>Don't ever waste a DIME! Just not worth it! <br/>The food that was delivered was packaged HORRIBLY! <br/>There was a massive tear and the oil spilt everywhere...the pasta was PATHETIC! & They I can't believe they actually served coloured fettucccine! (This piece of info was not mentioned over the phone when I placed the order) As I'm allergic to food colour, the pasta went STRAIGHT INTO THE BIN!<br/>I atleast thought I could eat the shrimps - & THEY WEREN'T CLEANED! - IT WAS PURELY DISGUSTING!!! <br/><br/>PICTURES HAVE BEEN ATTACHED FOR EVIDENCE!

I had a pumpkin, spinach and pine nut risotto (with added feta) delivered last night. It was delicious, except for the fact they'd used flaked almonds in place of pine nuts. I checked the paper menu they sent with the order and it indeed says pine nuts. I would have preferred they'd left nuts out altogether and adjusted the charge accordingly. Some notification of this at time of ordering or a little message sent in the order would have been appreciated. I'll still order from here but I want to be confident I'll get what I order. Thank you! :)

Fairly greasy food- not bad if you like pub style food but without the pub atmosphere. Schnitzel is huge! Lunch specials $15 a great deal. Haven't tried the pizzas but probably wouldn't rush back!

Was welcomed by a friendly staff member straight away, ordered a Hawaiian and a garlic pizza! <br/>Plus a lemon meringue pie (take-away) <br/>Both pizzas cooked on a perfectly thin crust's, garlic pizza could of had slightly more garlic for my likings but over all well cooked and fantastic service. <br/>Look forward to going back :)

We've been going to Sinners South Morang for a while for both eat-in and takeaway, and it's generally been quite good.  The serving sizes are HUGE, and the food is usually quite good quality.  There have been a few minor issues, but they always own up to their mistakes and rectify them.  Overall, I definitely recommend going there if you're after some good old fashioned comfort food and plenty of it for your dime.

no need to travel too far from home for great food and service. This place is one of the gems in the north, food is always good with generous servings.

Just had the $15 Lunch, what great value for money. The food is always good here and reasonably priced, but $15 for a great burger and free can of coke cant go past that. Will definitely be back for more

Great place, staff are friendly, food is great. We come here often and never have any problems. Love the Calamari. We have also had food delivered, even on their busy night delivery is usually there in 45min, pretty good considering I've had to wait over an hour & half at other place

A nice family restaurant with affordable and decent servings. Service was pretty good and the staff were very friendly. The food was tasty, nothing outstanding, but otherwise a nice dinner out.

Place is crap! The service was virtually non existent, very slow and waitresses were unattentive. Tried our best to get their attention to even order food. We were there for a solid 20 minutes before our order was taken..and the place barely had a handful of customers. Food came out cold and had to walk it back to the counter with plate in hand because there was not a waitress in sight. Not to mention the lasagna that had been dumped was dry as a bone. Pizza was adequate nothing like their doreen store. Tables are so small and close together you may as well be sitting on each others laps and join in on conversations of strangers.<br/>Will only opt for takeaway from this place...if we even do come back.

Got delivery. Took 2 hours to arrive (5 minutes down the road), was stone cold, and generally just bad (after we heated it up). You'd be better off with a frozen pizza from the supermarket.

The risotto marinara was bland, with gluggy rice and had an unseasoned fishy taste. A gnocchi dish was also very disappointing, again tasteless with large cubes of dry flavourless chicken thrown in. Finally a bbq chicken pizza that was lathered in sauce, very unappealing and as hungry as we were, we just couldn't bring ourselves to eat it.Despite the generous portions and friendly staff, we made the mistake of giving Sinners a second chance and regretted it. Not worth it.

Very hit and miss. The first time I ordered the calamari it was the best I'd ever had, the second time it was the worst! Had a delivery mix up where they sent the wrong item and upon informing them they said they would send the right item out but they wanted us to return the wrong item. There was no compensation for the error/delay which was very poor customer service. Unfortunately we won't be ordering from there again.

Last night is a meal best forgotten... decided to try this place on the back of some alright reviews from friends as our normal choice for Italian was booked out... well boy do we regret it. <br/>Service was very poor ordered drinks and only one of the two arrived, half hour later after asking the other drink arrived with no apology. <br/>Dinner came, let's just say although price was good total lack of quality... overcompensated with quantity. Oversized dishes although edible with both us walking out with almost full plates on the table means it was far from enjoyable... <br/>It's not surprising I was able to call and book a table half hour before heading to dinner because the place was only half full on a Saturday night. Should have been warning sign right there...<br/>The restaurant was over packed with to many tables.. There was couples forced to sit next to other couples with no more then 5 cm gap in between... bit awkward if the table next to the Window wanted to leave first because there was no chance of that happening. As well as having to reach over one to the other then getting drink and food... how disruptive, you could clearly tell those tables were not happy. <br/>Lucky for us we got a table up the center but honestly it still felt like we were sitting with others. Constantly getting chairs rammed into us and people listening to our conversation. <br/>This place would be fine for breakfast or lunch, but keeping up the pace of dinner service is not there expertise. <br/>Not recommending it.

OMG, AMAZING!!!. Yummy chips, warm, plentiful pizza with endless topping... great value! Just the was a family restaurant used to be. Perfect :-)

Disgusting. I have been to many restaurants and have to say I have had one of the dish possible which I didn't even eat and still managed to walk out with a sore stomach it like quanintity than its good but definitely not quality

Everyone raves about these guys. But I don't think the food could be more average! <br/>Creamy penne pasta was mostly cheese. Chicken schnitzle came without sauce. Pizza had way too much bbq sauce on it. There was more sauce than toppings. Chips were soggy and horrible. Really let down by the quality of the food we had take away. Not worth the drive to go back and complain about how crap it was!

Joke. Ordered the ribs and received and old boar, the pork ribs were same size as beef ribs , this thing was huge old and fat it had no flavour whatsoever, similar to ordering a chicken and receiving an old boiler.<br/>The salad had no dressing and for the price I really expect something way better.<br/>I requested to speak to the manager but apparently he's busy, ok that's fine well guess what? my $$$$$ won't be paying your wages in the future.

Not what we were looking for.!. We wanted a nice place to eat good food to dine and chat with friends. Keeping in mind it was Saturday night and busy. Waitress Marlene started well promptly taking us to table, serving water and bringing menus, all with a smile. Ordered Bruschetta and Garlic bread. disappointing , thick warm bread with melted garlic butter and same with bruschetta raw tomato chunks. Complained to unhappy Joe. No response! Looked like he hated being there. All big meals but served hastily. Calimari o.k but on top of chips made them soggy, Chicken, huge slab enough for two. Mediterannean Porterhouse steak huge and cooked right for me with hot salami sauce (needed magnifying glass to find salami) Chips served in basket but not much better. Salads nice, fresh and plenty B.Y.O. $4.50 bottle. Waitress asked if all O.K. Prices all reasonable but all meals luke warm at table. Not much ambience with cold atmosphere, some people on phones, others chowing down on pizza, loving it. We left early without dessert or coffee. Not for anyone wanting a nice night out . Unlikely to return.

Best in the area. I was referred to Sinners family restaurant by a friend, and it was everything my she said it would be. The food was great and plenty of it, great value for money. The service was also great, the staff are friendly and happy to accommodate with changes to the menu. An added bonus on our way out we find out that the dine in menu is also available for home delivery, will definitely be back . Thank you to all the staff who made us feel so welcome.

Loving the lunches. Me and my Uni crew have gone here for lunch twice and loved our meals. the only down side was we were so full that we were half asleep trying to finish an assignment. I highly recommend the chicken and mushroom with chips and salad

Now I've had sinners before when it was located at mill park lakes but I have to say the Plenty Road restaurant is pretty shameful and that's being polite. My wife and I have eaten there and the food was terrible and the other night we thought we'd give them another go and we got home delivery and were told 45 mins. 45 mins later we get a call from the driver asking for directions because he couldn't find our house, he called a 2nd time, third time and fourth time. We then called the restaurant and was told he be there soon. 1 1/2 hours later he showed up, obviously the food was cold so we called and at first they tried to blame us for giving an incorrect address even though it was their systems. They eventually gave us a credit. Anyway we thought we'd give them one more shot and it has to be the worst tasting pizza ever and the prawns weren't even clean and still had the poop shoots. Will never eat there again!!! And would definately not recomend this place to anyone.

Loved the food! I had the porterhouse with mushroom sauce - the best meal of that kind I've ever had. It wasn't even expensive. Great value for money. Also happy with the service.

Value for money!. This place has become my girlfriend and I's place to go when we can't decide where to eat. Generous servings and the staff are nice and friendly. The lunch special is great value!

I had the seafood platter and my husband and I agreed that it was the best we have ever tried. all fresh product, grilled, not crumbed or deep fried! included grilled calamari, king prawns, scallops, and lobster tail! AMAZING! The staff were also fantastic, so helpful and friendly.<br/>A great place to eat.

Fantastic affordable food and awesome service. Highly recommend to everyone. Kid friendly too. They supply portable DVD players to kiddies. Love it :)

Hey everyone. Privately owned restaurants and cafes are doing it tough, thanks to covid19. So, instead of ordering online through a third party company, ring a small business eatery and order either home delivery or pickup through them, or (better still) book a table and eat in. You'll save money and not rip off the establishment with up to 35% delivery commission. Your favourite eatery deserves that from you.<br/>Sinners' serves are very generous and great quality.<br/>Also, don't leave this world without trying Sinners' Napoleon Cake, the Russian Honey Cake or any of their other desserts.

Excellent service, nothing too much trouble!! Wonderful place to take your family!! Huge serves of food & quality of food was very high, no compromises made with any food! We will be back this restaurant is well worth a visit!! Thank you to staff & chefs!

Not the best pizza I've ever had, the bases tasted a lot like a Pizza Hut or Dominos pizza.. Cheap dinner though

Sinners, the great take away pizza place has outdone itself with their new dine in restaurant. $36 for a 600gm Rib Eye cooked exactly as ordered and inner city quality. Serving sizes are very generous, huge in fact. Great range of dishes on the menu and the little extras, great service, a portable DVD player on the table and themed drinking glasses to keep the kids entertained,make it a pleasure to have dinner here. A place like this in South Morang? About time!
