We went here for Mother's Day dinner. It was well worth the effort. Customer Service was excellent Our waiter, Dawson, was professional, very helpful and courteous. The meals were delicious and plentiful. Ironically, my meal was steak which was cooked medium rare to perfection. Unfortunately it was supplemented only with a scoop of mash and 3 broccolini. I would have liked more filling. Fortunately my daughter couldn't eat all her massive serve of nachos so I didn't leave hungry. We had a booking for 4 but had another 4 wanting to come at the last limited and the staff did an excellent job to accommodate us all.
Came in the other morning for a mocha and a big breakfast. Every aspect was a pleasure. Big breakfast was amazing and huge! I couldn't finish it. The best thing was the mocha. Not bitter at all. Good job Degani, I'll be back :)
Degani’s service is always good. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is always good too! My favourite is their french toast and Korean Chicken with salad.
Couldn’t fault our breakfast. Good value for money, everything was cooked well, service was good. It actually took us by surprise. Will return again

My husband and I visited Degani at Plenty Valley tonight for dinner at about 7:00pm. The food was variable quality. Some dishes were fantastic (garlic bread, the veggies with my parma and the chocolate volcano), but others were - for lack of a better term - lazy (spaghetti and the parma itself). Nothing was bad by any stretch of the imagination, but I would have expected more effort than a frozen pre-breaded chicken breast for the parma and overcooked pasta for the price we paid. That said, the service was lovely and the atmosphere was decent. (Though they do need to pay attention to small maintenance issues, as the bench seat next to me was duct-taped together and about a third of the lightbulbs were out.) I think that we would visit Degani again if we wanted a coffee and dessert, but probably not for dinner. I'd be interested in seeing how their breakfast is, though.

Gotta love the Burbs. The eatery battle between Groove Train and Degani at the Westfield in South Morang is an interesting arm wrestle. The Swine has frequented both but Degani appears to be the better of the two. Eats are similar but the customer service of Degani is the clear winner. The Swine thinks this makes a massive difference!! Today's visit to a packed Degani was a delight and staff handled any peak hour pressure with ease and professionalism. Staff were attentive, helpful and lovely. Food was of top order and the coffee here is the best at this Westfield centre - the Swine has tried it all! While the Swine does love a big feed, quality and taste was on the Swine's menu today - Having said that, the plate sizes were rather huge here today..and much more generous than the University Hill shop. The Swine says Quality was covered off beautifully - oh yeah baby!! The 'Spanish Delight" is made up of salad, bacon egg and a smash of avocado...this was scrumptious!! The Pancake is a whopper, complete with icecream, obligatory maple syrup and a strawberry on top. Wonderbaar!!! The Swine's tumm is absolutely full and his heart is left warm and fuzzy - Happy Valentines Day to all youze pigglets!! Yes "youze" is a word in this hood.
Always enjoy coming here for a meal or cake and coffee. Staff are friendly and attentive. The food is always of a good standard. Menu has lots of options with breakfast served till late afternoon.
been to Degani's quite a few times for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner & its always been good. nothing extraordinary but good for this side of town. The Eggs Benedict can be amazing at times & other times just ok. they probably need some consistency with there meals. the big breakfast has everything & is quite consistent with the flavors, presentation etc. Always good for lunch or dinner with a variety of meals to choose from. Kids meals a good selection & will make any fussy eater happy. Service changes, depending on who is looking after you but the majority of our visits they have been friendly & happy to have a chat with us. I can only remember one occasion where a male employee was having a bad day but that quickly changed. High Chairs are easy to get & nice to sit outside when the weather warms up. Its always busy at Degani's but have been seated promptly on every visit. all up, a pleasant experience every time & tasty cafe food.
Very nice breakfasts and hollandaise sauce which is to die for. Love the thick crusty bread. Although a little disappointed that my poached eggs have been over cooked the last few times I've been there and when I have bought it to the attention of the staff they have said "yeah, that happens when we are busy" apart from that I would highly recommend their meals!!
The French Toast is the best I've ever had, I've eaten breakfast here several times and have never had any reason to complain, I love it !
Love it. I always feel welcome here, it's always full and the staff treat you like family. Great coffee, pizza's and steak - LOVE the vanilla slice!
Love it. Loved the calamari salad! Very filling and fresh! Always o there when In a hurry and need a healthy meal...rather that then maccas lol!

I've been here mainly for breakfast, the food is excellent and cheaply priced, service can be dodgy at some times but they are usually happy to correct any mistakes made. I have been for lunch once or twice and the chicken bocconcini is AMAZING especially if they are generous with the sauce. Seats are comfortable and packed during the summer :) good little place.
Had lunch on Sunday, service was prompt , kids fish & chips has 2 beautiful pieces of fish on the plate. The calzone could have been cooked for an extra 5 minutes as it was still a little raw in the middle. Pumpkin risotto was cooked to perfection. Very enjoyable lunch.
Great breaky, coffee and cakes- service is hit and miss. I mostly have eaten here for breakfast- their breakfasts are amongst the best ive had- including another degani which is only 5 minutes down the road in bundoora.
they do great eggs..whether it be poached, scrambled, fried.. all are great, breakfast portions are also very generous for the prices, and the coffee is great. they also have amazing cakes should you feel like something sweet.
the service here is hit and miss mostly. somedays you get lovely friendly waitresses- other days the service is basically pretty surly and poor. not great, but were used to it now and because the food is good we just overlook the poor service at times.
Had the potato and broccoli soup. It was amazing! The food was great and service was fine. We go back soon

Today I went to Degani and wasn’t expected that I would have such a great experience. The food was cook properly and perfectly not overcook just right. Staff are friendly and the food came out fast too.
Highly recommended. They have the Best coffee and pther hot drinks in the area. Customer service and dine in experience is also worth the price and time.

French toast is great! Large portion with mixed of fruit and syrup.
Had soy chai too, which was ok. Will be better if they have loose leaf chai rather than powdered.
The Veggie Burger is good. Just ask for a side of tomato relish, spread this on the top bun to make it better. Great service.
Nice venue, lovely atmosphere. To be honest the coffee was average, warm and milky nice froth on my cuppacino but not much of a coffee flavor, shame really.
Excellent service. Friendly staff. Our waiter was fun enough to suggest a drink for me as i was undecided when we first sat down. He got it spot on. And they checked with us, after serving starters, if we were ready to have our mains cooked and served. That was a nice touch. It meant we could get our food hot at our pace. And the food quality was superb and well presented (see pic). Their garlic butter & pepper cream sauces had the perfect combination of taste temperature & quantity for the mains. And the drinks were custom made too, not just served from a bottle. Atmosphere is to my liking, not too bright, seats / table well spaced apart, not too dim. Allows for a cosy private affair yet still in a regular mass operations type restaurant.
Will definitely visit again.
