A small restaurant in a random location that doesnt look too promising from first glance but entering it and sitting down to order a meal will wish you found this little restaurant sooner. The pad si ew was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of vegetables and the duck dish was wiped clean. Its also got added lychee which gives it a sweet taste that balances the spices of the curry and rich flavours of the roast duck.

Came here for a Friday night dinner for two. The place isn't big, and luckily we booked ahead as it got really busy.
Food was well presented and in good portions. Tom Yum prawn soup hit the spot. The red curry duck was tasty, although a tad oversweet. Three way barramundi was delicious.
Worthwhile to come here, the locals know it.
The Penang Curry is addictive, I seem to always order it and am never disappointed. The Pad Thai is full of flavour. We started off with the Spring Rolls which are always good. Serving sizes are good. It's BYO. Parking outside is easy. We've been many times and will continue to do so.
Want great Thai? This is your place. I will be a regular - great food, great service. I recommend the Penang curry, but the pad Thai and other dishes are also exceptional!
We came here for a birthday celebration based on a colleague’s recommendation. Ordered a few dishes from their chef recommendation/special, the food was delicious. Staffs are friendly and the service was quick.

It’s a hidden gem, at least for me. It’s a small little joint with indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating was little cramped for me. The service was prompt and the wait staff was friendly. The food is reasonably priced. They do have lunch specials which are really good. In the evenings, the place is usually busy so advance booking is recommended. Good variety of dishes, we ordered Thai Green Curry, Spicy Stir fried Duck with Spicy Chilli basil sauce, Satay chicken and Pad Thai. The Chicken satay were amazing, just to die for, very flavoursome and yummy. Sensational authentic Thai food in Como. A must try!!
Small place and definitely require booking.
Atmosphere inside is busy and the smells definitely wet the appetite. Entree came out quickly and just melted in the mouth. A short wait and then the mains came out Beautifully present and very enticing. All meals had a wonderful fresh aroma to them and were more than full of flavour.

This is a small, busy restaurant in a tiny group of shops in suburban Como. Lovely staff and good food. I think it’s great value as the meal tasted fresh and flavoursome.

By far my favourite Thai restaurant that I have been to. It is an absolute hidden gem that makes their Thai green curry to die for with the perfect blend of sweetness and spice. Absolutely brilliant customer service too. Would definitely recommend!
We came here on a warm Monday night. It was a bustling takeaway restaurant that was packed to the brim!! It was a cosy environment and we loved the decor. We ordered the Beef Massaman curry and it was very tasty, the sauce was excellent and flavoursome, but the chunks of beef were all gristle and quite chewy.
Very busy night, it appears that's probably the norm. Takeaways are constantly flying out the door. Noise level can be high as it's a small restaurant. Food was beautifully presented and was quite nice. The noodles were my favourite, but duck was dry. I expected a punchy green curry but it was very sweet and mild, unlike the green curries I've had in Thailand. Again, chicken was a little tough. Staff were friendly and pleasant.
Nothing wrong and everything right with the food here. The small room was buzzing but the food came out quickly and fresh. Great flavours which smacked of authenticity. At least to my aged palate. The service was safe and friendly. Looks like they are starting off the younger members of the clan with a healthy view of the importance of family and hard work. Good to see. The prices are good. I've certainly paid a lot more for food less good. Faults? Probably just the room itself, a bit noisy and spartan, but they are very limited by the available space so really it's fine. Well worth a try.
The last time we went we had the Panang Curry and the Deep Fried Barramundi. Both were excellent and full of flavour. The curry has a really delicious sauce and the fish was served in a way that it was very easy to eat for a whole fish. We've previously had the Pad Thai and a Stir Fry both of which were very good. This has become our favourite Thai restaurant. It's quite small so it's best to book. Also it's BYO. Service is very efficient and friendly.
Amazing fresh food always, love the lunches here there such great value only $9.90 !! Dinner is great also, so many options and everything is awesome :)

The curry and the stir fry were spot on. Very flavoursome and authentic. Meat cooked well and the beef melted in your mouth.
Negatives:
Curry puffs were tiny and lacked flavour. Very expensive for takeaway, should consider dropping the price for takeaway menu compared to their dine in prices like most other restaurants do.

Friday evening couple of hours to ourselves so we headed to this place I'd seen on my way and from work. Given the ratings we thought it may be popular so we booked a table. Just as well. It was busy dining in with three times as many orders going out as take away. We had fish cakes (4) and satay sticks (6) for entree. Great taste and in appropriate number. I hate the place that serves 5 of things. Five does not divide by 2 or 3. A recipe for food fights!
Mains was massaman beef curry (one of the best I've ever had) and spicy chilli basil chicken (perfect!) with steamed rice. BYO but $4 each corkage!!! Not so happy about that but the service was friendly and fast. The entree and meal were served quickly, even with so many meals being cooked. Taste was phenomenal, authentic and fresh. Overall a great experience with very reasonable priced food.

Takeaway Thai can be hit and miss and this place is certainly a hit in my books. My Sidekick discovered this place which is tucked away in Kensington.
We had the duck rolls for entree which were fresh and came with a delicious sauce. I would highly recommend these little morsels to start.
We really wanted to try the massaman beef curry but unfortunately, it was sold out by 7:30pm! So we tried the penang curry and the chicken fried rice.
The curry was incredible. It could do with a bit more meat in it, though the sauce was so tasty we could not waste a drop.
A little pricier than your standard takeaway but the food is by no means standard. Definitely worth every penny.

Fresh, authentic thai hidden away in the suburbs. I visited this spot on a recommendation and was very impressed. The shop is on the smaller side so we went with a take away meal. Green Chicken Curry had an added kick and the chicken was well cooked, Pad Thai was full of flavour and no stinginess with the prawns and we really enjoyed the Spring Rolls - a must visit in the area!

As first timers here and being longtime fans of the EVP Galangal Thai, we found this a pleasant surprise. Great authentic food executed well. Prompt friendly service.
Came here for lunch and the food is great. We ordered the thai green curry and pad thai. Portion is quite generous and well priced. The curry is well balanced and taste quite authentic. The place is usually full around lunch/dinner time, so make a booking in advance (although sometimes they don't answer the phone). Overall a nice Thai place.
My boyfriend and I came here for dinner on a Sunday night. The shop was small but tastefully decorated. The service was friendly and generally pretty good.
We ordered a prawn tom yum soup for entree, the crispy soft shelled crab with special sauce and the heavenly spare ribs. Tom yum soup was rich in flavour and not very spicy, which I personally like. For $9.50 it was reasonably priced and good to share between two people.
The other two dishes were average. The soft shell crab was nice and crispy and beautifully fried but a bit lacking in flavour. Same with the ribs. They were very tender and the serving size was big, but again we felt like there wasn't much of an 'oomph'.
Overall, our experience was good but we thought the dishes we tried were average.

Dropped in for a quick early dinner with the family & so glad we did! We order beef massaman, chicken pad si ew and chicken satay sticks. The beef in the massaman were larger than typical and just fell apart it was that tender and our 2yo nearly ate the whole dish of pad si ew. Will definitely be coming back!
Dropped in for a takeaway and was pretty pleased with the food. We ordered spring rolls, pad thai, and a ginger beef stir-fry all of which were delicious. The portions were a little smaller than I was used to, but it would have been a great amount for two hungry people if we had ordered a serve of rice as well. The flavours were well-balanced, nothing was overcooked, will definitely be back!

One of my favorite local lunch spots. You can't beat a $10 full, fresh and flavorsome dish! The panang chicken curry is my go to. It is the perfect portion size for me (however, if I was a hungry man I would also need a sweet treat from Hoopla Espresso next door) ;)

Easy parking. Friendly and quality food at a reasonable price - I liked not having chewy galangal in my soup. We will return! Toilets are an experience - but you can't have everything in an older building !
Local fav. Been visiting the Pinto for a couple of months, simple an honest Thai food, nothing fancy but reliable. Service is great, food is fresh, tables out the front are the best, bit noisy inside but otherwise a great little all rounder. Will continue to visit once a week for a great feed.

Words can not describe my love for this little place. The food was absolutely amazing! Generous serving sizes and reasonable pricing is only the beginning for Pinto. A very intimate space with great vibes and suitable for a romantic dinner for two or a casual dinner with the family. BYO is a bonus as well as the friendly staff! We stopped by for an impromptu after work dinner with some friends and were greeted by a clean no fuss interior and cheap prices! The menu catered for everybody's dietary requirements and the staff even made sure to lower the spiciness for my child like taste buds. We ordered in 5mins and had our food within 15 mins. Everything was delicious! Winners of the night was Pad Thai noodles.

Tried these guys for the first time tonight.....OMG, AMAZING! Highly recommend this food, fresh and vibrant. Combination of stirfry cashewnut chicken with coconut green chicken curry & steamed rice is just outstanding! Will definitely be ordering from here again. Yum food and good service. I have only ordered delivery from these guys but every time they are friendly, fast and efficient. The food is delicious, rich and authentic tasting. My only complaint would be the incredibly small takeaway serves. I don't mind paying for amazing food but our Massaman curry had only three small pieces of meat and two small pieces of potato. On the plus side - it was amazing.
Great flavour. Ordered vegetable pad thai, tom yam fried rice and panang curry. all of them were great. the letdown part is the open-kitchen concept that makes the whole restaurant become bit smelly.

I had probably the best seafood Pad Thai I have ever tasted (and I've been to Thailand a few times)- it was so fresh and generous with the seafood. My husband had the chicken fried rice and said it was lovely as well. A winner!

...the gang phed ped yang ($25.50) the roasted duck was placed in a rich creamy red curry sauce, with lychee, pineapple, cherry tomato and vegetables. I have yet to have lychee in a curry dish but all the flavours worked well together and it was delicious...
You would think after several trips to Thailand in a relatively short space of time we would be sick of Thai cuisine. That has definitely not been the case in fact it has done the complete opposite. Thai food has become our go-to comfort food, the meal we crave after a bad day at work or when we are feeling run down.
Excellent food. The dishes were full of flavours and taste was on point. Highly recommend giving this place a go. Had the red curry duck, basil soft shell crab and tom yum soup.
Nice little thai restaurant in the suburb. Service was very good and reasonably fast. Food was very tasty. Price was fair. I would go back to this restaurant to try their other dishes.
We arrived with out a booking and were told it was going to be a 45 minute wait. Which we understand and don't mind at all. We ordered straight away and had food in front of us with in 20 minutes.
Food was absolutely amazing and the customer service was out standing. Even when they are crazy busy they still manage to exceed expectations
Decent experience, the food was flavoursome and the staff were helpful. The red duck curry was particularly good! Food came out very fast as well. Great portions for sharing especially the mains. There might be better Thai food out there but this place seems to be a very safe bet for a solid meal especially if you’re in the area!

So, in that context, i found the serving sizes a little small tonight...
...BUT THE FOOD.
Oh my OMG.
The smells, the flavours, the complete and utter lack of a post-asian meal MSG headache...
This place is amazing.
Chicken satay, chicken curry puffs for the entree - I'm (part) Indian, and I've NEVER eaten a curry puff that good IN MY LIFE.
Green chicken curry, chicken chilli basil noodles, chicken fried rice (ok, so we love chicken) and salt and pepper squid.
What can i say - I've never eaten better Thai food.
If you've seen any of my other reviews, you know that i don't usually love Thai food (another holdover from childhood), but after tonight, I'm thinking it might be time to revisit some of those memories and change my thinking - about serving sizes, about how i measure quality, maybe about Thai food in general...

Was driving around and saw this restaurant and decided to give it a go.There’re plenty of parking outside the restaurant (free) and infront of the restaurant.U can choose either dining inside or outside the restaurant depending on your mood.(Some smell of smoke from cooking)
The waiters were very nice and greeted us when we walked in and have us seated straight away.We decided to order a Chicken Satay(8$) for our entree and Red Curry (24$),Tom yum prawn fried rice (21$) and Tom yum soup(9$)for our main.Although the restaurant was packed(Sunday) the food was served after a 10-15minutes wait . The food was amazing 🤩 and the seasoning is just right not too heavy neither too light. (My very own opinion).I would recommend this to anyone who want to try their very first Thai food. My personal favourite would be the red curry Duck. This dish is special as it’s very refreshing.Enough said go and try it for yourself.Ps the portions is quite good.
