Perfect coffee, great food and outstanding customer service. A must try place to have some breakfast or lunch. Dinner pasta special is a great value deal.

Very excellent service and the food was superb. I went for dinner with friends and we ordered some steaks with prawns. My steak was a bit chewy but besides that everything was on point.
They had the most wonderful cakes/ petite fours ever and you could tell they were freshly made. I love this little coffee shop!

We had a very pleasant dinner here on a Wednesday night. My boyfriend and I loved the soup and Turkish Toast very much. They have a variety of dessert to choice after meal. The lady that worked there were very friendly and she even offered us free dessert when we ordered some take away.

“Seems popular with the over-50s” and has breakfast cocktails. I had the shakshuka. It was delicious but a bit more watery than I expected. The service was friendly enough and a little slow, which is ok for a lazy Sunday, not for a quick breakfast.

Ordered at the counter for lunch today with my colleague the lunch special of pumpkin and goat’s cheese pie with salad for under $10 and a long Mac topped up. Place was pretty busy with lots of people taking in the special. Food and drinks came out quickly. Coffee was good. Pie and salad were both a fresh healthy lunch. The Pie was not overwhelming with the goat’s cheese, although I would have liked a little more taste as I love goat’s cheese. Overall nice place for a quick bite with reasonable coffee for good price and friendly service.

I'm not sure why some of the other reviewers had such bad experiences with Globe - we always enjoy our meal there and have been loads of times (it's just down the road for me). Portion sizes are good and great value for money. The cakes are gorgeous - so many to choose from and different to the usual, generic cheesecakes and carrot cake you get everywhere else. Coffee is good. They don't change their menu - that's probably the biggest gripe, as it would be nice to have a change now and again. Service can be a bit haphazard, depending on the day of the week (different staff on different days) but you can overlook that when the food is so nice. Try the French Toast for breakfast - delicious!

This has the potential to be an exceptional cafe with some tweaking of the decor and the creating of authentic French pastries and cakes. It does really well with the quiche and salad type of lunch, well prepared and well priced and is a popular place and the staff are friendly and efficient which is hard to find these days.
The coffee is the best I had this week! My friend said my eyes lit up after I took my first sip! A good sign.

One of the girls reserved a table as there were six of us for breakfast. We were greeted by a waiter and seated at our reserved table. On arrival, Globe Coffee House reminded me of the well known chain of cafes, Dome. We chatted for a while before looking over the menu. We were excited to get together and forgot about breakfast for a few moments.

Large restaurant/cafe in a lovely street. Early on week days there is hardly anyone around. The restaurant's design and fit out is eerily similar to Dome cafes.
Service was efficient, rather than personable or friendly. Food was fine. However I'm not sure why anyone would serve food with packets of butter on the plate with the good, let alone deliver the plates Ruth the cutlery left on the plate! Geez, this is basic stuff.
