I love dome so I know the food and coffee is good, no problems there. Only gripe is the lack of leather chairs, only has the one set. It is a very small shop. Lovely staff.

I like a good strong coffee preferably with a design on it which I feel is a sign of a good barrista. Usually the coffee at Mends St is excellent but some days there is not enough crema, depending on who is making it. There should be a criteria!

Parking can be hard, but it's nicely situated in the street, close to the ferry terminal. One of their smaller outlets, but nicely setup. The food was made in good time and good customer service.

Wouldn't eat there again. Had the veg big breakfast and big breakfast, both weren't very nice for the price. Soy latte was awful, soy tasted off. Asked for a thick shake and got a milkshake.

Love the area, right near the foreshore. The food took a while to come out but it was cooked okay. It's a smaller venue then most domes and feels slightly cramped. Staff are nice enough.<br/>

We ordered a heated focatia which came in a cold burger bun, pumpkin soup which was boiling hot, and two serves of tasty toast from the junior menu. We received regular sized toast which was burnt. This is the 3rd bad experience at this particular Dome.

As far as domes go this is ok. The tandoori chicken salad is good and the shakes are great. Coffee is a miss.

Ducked in to Dome for a quick brekky and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and tasty fresh food. The muesli was one of the best I've tried lately with heaps of fresh ripe fruit. They were well priced and the coffee was good too.

A decent dome. The barista that took our order was really friendly.<br/><br/>Chicken tenders were a tiny bit dry. Could've benefited from a little bit more sauce. The Calamari and Chips was a nice big serve for the price. Calamari was well cooked. The veggies in the salad were chopped into large chunks and it looked a little bit clumsy, although it was all very fresh and crispy.

Good little setting here.... Drop in when Atomic is over run with sweaty, over 50 something cyclists on. Saturday and Sunday morning. If you don't like coffee but you do like a good hot chocolate or a great Iced Chocolate... try the "Adult Sized" Caramel Koala Iced Chocolates. You can thank me for letting you know they do those here later . :-)

Not as expected for a Dome Cafe. Have been to this Dome Café for breakfast 3 times but unfortunately I will not be returning. Although the staff are friendly enough, there is no sense of urgency and wait times for food can be lengthy. The food (eggs on toast with side of baked beans) on 1 occasion was forgotten and on all 3 occasion was cold. Each coffee was inconsistent ranging from luke warm to piping hot and bitter.

This Dome is dysfunctional. Service non-existent and run by a distracted bunch of students who forgot part of my order. The people seated beside me waited forever for their order which never arrived. They got up, asked for their money back and left. The muesli gave me the runs. Horrible!

Domes are usually pretty reliable. Not this one! Like a lot of reviews on here, cold food and long wait times are standard at this place. Steak sandwhich was a disgrace to the name, and the chicken parmigana was the size of a chicken nugget! Never again, especially with so many other choices in the area

Ordered two serves of poached eggs for my partner and I and not one gooey egg to be seen. Ruined our breakfast. Coffee was good, as usual for Dome but will not be back to this one. Yuck.

Veggie breakfast.. Cold, u.... Veggie breakfast.. <br/>Cold, uncooked tomato, mushrooms the same. Toast is barely warm bread..<br/>At least they can't fk up opening a can of baked beans..<br/>Should have gone to Atomic.

Food undercooked. Our order took about 45 minutes....which we wouldn't have minded waiting for if it was decent quality food. However, our breakfast had underdone bacon, overcooked eggs and was cold...not the kind of thing you would expect from paying that much! However, the waitress who brought it out was lovely and polite and very apologetic (think she was from the UK not sure but she was the only one who seemed to speak good English!). She took our food back to the kitchen and after a short while she brought out breakfast as it should be. Clearly Dome needs to cook better quality food over quantity. Yes maybe it would take longer to come out but it would be well worth the wait.

Really bad service, sat there for 10 min smiled at the waitress and the other two people behind the counter and still nothing. Got up and left, they didn't even say anything as we walked straight past them.
