Kakizaki is a small sushi bar serving an omakase by chef Yuji Matsuzaki. Booking is needed in advance as they only have two sessions per night where the counter seats can probably fit only 10-12 people per session.

The BEST Japanese restaurant we have had so far in Melbourne. Great value in price and delicious fish! Side dishes with awesome presentation and finish with a beautifully executed desert. Will definitely come here again. Great place for a nice date or dining experience. Book early ;)
A no frills and simple omakase experience at an approachable price point.
Chef's table only fits about 6-8 people in a sitting, found the quality of fish and flavours to be simple, refined and excellent.
Not overly fancy compared to other Omakase's but great for a mid-range mid week sort of experie
Perfect Sushi! King fishes just melt in your mouth. Love this place 🤩

Traditional and exceptional Japanese fare serving only the freshest and best produce. It felt like stepping into a sushi bar in Tokyo, the food and the ambience boasting wood, earth feel deserves 5 stars.
I dont think I can say enough good things about it! Although it’s an omakase, it’s very filling. You can always order extra if you’re still hungry.
One of the few true (in my opinion) sushi bar experience in Melbourne. Like those tiny sushi bar in Japan.
There is no soy sauce to mask any of the delicate seafood pieces. The Omakase experience is a must.
