Pretty decent Chinese food, tho a lil on the pricey end if you pay the full price. If I recalled correctly, they provide complimentary soup to diners 🥣 Best part is that it’s unlimited refills.
🗓 Was relatively new when I visited back in 2019 (showing up as ‘NEW’ on Zomato).
Will come back for:
+ Peking duck
+ Boiled fish in Szechuan soup
+ Seafood fried rice
This new Chinese restaurant has a large and impressive menu. We had a little bit of everything for lunch and most of the dishes were pretty much on point. Loved the Peking duck which came with super soft wraps, great sauce and tasty, crispy skinned duck. The boiled fish in Szechuan soup was tangy, spicy and fresh. And the seafood fried rice was moorish and perfectly cooked. This is a pretty competitive strip and I do feel these guys offer something a little different from it’s neighbours. Service was attentive and friendly. Price is above average but certainly worth it for what you get. Will certainly be back.
Those guys who served us were just nice and friendly. Potions were big though abit too oily. It wasn’t too crowded during the lunchtime and I will definitely go back again.
Had takeaway from here. Tried the cumin fried rice and the special fried rice. Other options looked good too and would be keen to try them again. The fried rices tasted good, the lamb cumin fried rice was very oily.
I like this restaurant .The waiters are very nice. There is delicious soup and many options for spicy food. My children love soup , noodles and steamed buns.
Peking duck pancakes were amazing. Bonus points for also playing the entire Taylor Swift RED album. 😍😍😍 The service was also attentive and patient. I had a very nice lunch. Happy to recommend them 😊
Lunch set only $8.8. I order the soft shell crab set and come with a cup of coke also a bowl of soup. Taste nice. The soft shell crab is a little be salty to me. This place is really good for enjoy the lunch or dinner with friends in south Yarra area. Friendly staff. They also have dinner special menu. Nice to try.
Went there for the first time with friends. The overall food was good, the especially the Peking Roast Duck. Staffs are friendly as well, they serve free soup for visitors and then offer for the unlimited time. I will definitely visit this again!
Been here many times over the last couple of weeks. Maybe two or three times a week. Lol. It’s relatively new and took over from Kagurazaka(Japanese restaurant). High quality Chinese food and the roast duck is a must try. Tried both the regular roast duck and Peking duck. Both have nice crispy skin and you can tell they just roasted the duck. The chef is from Southern China so specialises in roast meats. Definitely give this place a go. You won’t be disappointed. Best Chinese I have had in a long time.
Dropped in for a quick dinner after the footy. There was only one other group in the place (which was probably reflective of it being Easter Monday) but those dining were Chinese which is always a good sign. More diners arrived while we were eating. We were hungry without being ravenous so chose spring rolls, fried prawn dumplings, a chicken dish and steamed rice. All dishes were delicious, corkage was reasonable and another venue has been added to the cheap’n’cheerful list
