Fantastic position with great staff. The food (Eggs Benny with Mushrooms & Brekky Burger) was excellent too! Bring your dog inside as well for the leftovers- very large servings.

Food was good but not worth the price. The customer service was excellent, plating was nice, but the price killed me. $40 for 5 prawn dumplings that (to be honest) were 3/5 and probably closer to small than medium/large sized. Disappointed with the amount of greens to go with too - barely any :(

Came in the afternoon around 3, was very quiet. Ordered from the cafe, they gave us the wrong drink, and wouldn’t let us dine in. Terrible experience. Young boy came to give us our order but was pulled back by other staff member and sat our order on the counter. We got up to collect the order and the lady immediately farewelled us, making us aware we weren’t welcome to sit and eat. The beverage we ordered was put in a takeaway cup on purpose. Had to sit outside 50m away in the rain to eat.

Fantastic service by all the staff and the food was delicious. Sashimi was 5 star quality and I would recommend trying the chips with curry sauce.
I am already planning a trip back to Cafe Catalina.

Sunday mornings breakfast,if they are busy - go somewhere else......kitchen can't keep up. Not enough staff in my books. Yeah sure nice cafe with a view but that is where it stops.......it a no from me. :(

One of the few places on the Gold Coast to enjoy a coffee, drink or meal away from traffic and looking straight over the peaceful broadwater. Live music & beanbags on the lawn is also a unique treat

We've been waiting over an hour for breakfast. No one has come back to ask if we want another drink, and told us why or how long the food will be. Really bad service, hope the food is worth the wait!

worst takeaway service on the gold coast, brought coffee and banana bread it took like 45mins wait for a 5mins job, and then we got the banana bread chopped up into pics like it was from the garbage bin so disgusting and it was for my kids, never going there again so many better cafes on the coast..

Was just in this establishment, standing out the front waiting to be seated. Had at least 3 staff walk past us & both the owners & not one person acknowledged us! We waited for a good 10min & still nothing, so it's fair to say we walked out!!! What a huge disappointment!!! Have eaten here before & loved it, but thanks to your poor customer service tonight, we won't be coming back in a hurry that's for sure!!

Appalling experience - 25 minute wait for a takeaway coffee 2 days in a row & not even busy. Gave them the benefit of the doubt the first day. Politely complained to staff who gave the impression they couldn't care less. I'm a local to the area - Never going back & telling all my friends.
