Review Blendlove - Southport

Had lunch here after we flew in from Adelaide. Great little Vegan Cafe. The entire menu looked incredible. We're definitely going back for breakfast 💯😋

Awesome place, with good food and drinks. Lots of gluten free and dairy free options. The staff was very nice. I'd happily go back and would recommend this place.

This is a lovely cafe that clearly prioritizes yummy and healthy vegan food. I like my food a little bit stronger and I'm an unhealthy vegan so I like very flavorful food. The bacon was a little bit chewy, it is made of rice paper so that's to be expected and it didn't really taste like bacon to me (not enough of a smoky flavour) The jackfruit wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked, everything was a little bland to my taste, so i asked for salt and pepper and the owner happily obliged. I will say that I feel healthy and full leaving here, there are a lot of options, and everything's tasty and healthy. My favorite item on the menu is the hash browns with cheese sauce, they were so delicious, filling, and hearty that I took some more to go. They offered to make the hash browns and cheese sauce more flavorful for me and it tasted twice as good as the first time! To sum up this review, this is a very nice cafe and i recommend checking it out.

We drive past this place all the time and decided it was finally time to check it out! A lovely experience - very friendly staff, delicious smoothie and a tasty coffee. The food was tempting but unfortunately we'd already eaten so might have to come back ;) Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Value for money: 💰💰💰💰/5 Customer service: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️/5 Atmosphere: 😍😍😍😍/5 Will visit again: ✅

I wish I had paused to take a picture of my meal, the spiced cauliflower and tofu salad bowl. Oh my goodness, best meal I have had in a long time. Sooo much flavour. Absolute definition on YUMMY. Coffee was awesome, staff are so beautiful and accommodating. Super cute spot, great tunes. Don’t even notice the cars as the atmosphere is great. Will definitely be back. Thankyou!

It’s rare to find a cafe as exceptional as Blendlove. Don’t miss this gem. Thanks for our delicious breakfast & super friendly service

I wish I lived here because I'd be here everyday. Friendly staff, quick service and amazing food. Food portions are huge! Definitely recommend!

Ordered my French toast without nuts and advised the waitress that I have a nut allergy. There were a bunch of almonds on my plate and lucky for me, I'm only allergic to peanuts. But anyone else with an allergy to all nuts wouldn't be so lucky! My friend ordered the big breakfast and the bacon was super thin. My two kids didn't like their pancakes or ice cream as they both said it tasted weird. Unfortunately we won't be back.

So grateful to have this place on the Gold Coast! The food is not only beautiful but is so delicious and I have not yet had a meal I haven’t loved! Hot tip for readers the ranch burger with sweet potato fries and their epic aioli is a must! honestly will be dreaming about this combo. I only hope now that you guys will open on the south end of the coast

I thought Blendlove would be great due to the reviews but I was disappointed and embarrassed. I bought my friend to the cafe thinking it would be a healthy option. However the chicken burger patty was deep fried even though nothing on the menu signified that. What was worse was the oily patty was accompanied by really oily aioli.

As an omnivore, who has changed from being totally carnivorous, I was totally impressed with the food choices today, excellent value for money, food tasted great and amazing customer service to go with one of the nicest coffees I've had in ages!! Don't change a thing, you guys set the benchmark! And as a first timer to the shop, who's in the process of moving to the area from interstate, I'm guessing you'll see my happy face again!

So freaking delicious!!! So many options for gluten free vegan, I love it! Plus when I asked a million questions to make sure I wouldn't get my food contaminated with gluten they were so helpful! Thanks for being so amazing guys!

My daughter found this cafe in the Internet and on her visit here we went if for breakfast. I had the smoothie bowl which I was a bit apprehensive about....... It was heaven in a bowl. My daughter had mushrooms with rocket and balsamic tomatoes and hommous that was also sensational. My advice to anyone is don't Dismiss vegan and vegetarian cafes as you might miss a taste sensation. Staff were delightfull, one lady in particular was like a ray of sunshine. Will definitely be back.

In between nearly missing my daughters' dearly morning flight out of Coolangatta airport (due to motorway closures following the storms) and getting to work at Paradise Point, I decided to treat myself to a BlendLove breakfast: Summer Pancakes with date caramel sauce and grilled stone fruits, with a soy cappuccino. I love this place, staff are friendly, food was delicious and service was prompt. Thanks for being there to meet my Saturday morning cravings 😋 Namaste 🕉🙏🏼☮️

I was driving past yesterday and we knew wanted a coffee and something light to eat... I literally saw the A-frame sign on the curb, flicked on my indicator and pulled into the car park. I'd never seen or heard of Blendlove before as we are from Brisbane... It was a decision made in about 2-3 seconds and best one of the day! I had a long black and I would describe it as the single best coffee I have ever had - and I drink a LOT of it - and we had the quinoa bbq burger - DELICIOUS! I have never once in my life voluntarily ordered a vegetarian dish and it was sensational. Walked out of there on a high and we WILL be back!

Nicest mocha I've had since moving to the Gold Coast. Such beautiful and welcoming staff and the food is superb! So many great options

Delicious and nutritious vegetarian food, best lunch we have had for a long time, great coffee, matcha latte, chai tea- the girls at Blendlove do exactly that blend live into their food we will be back

I met two of my girlfriends here today and we had the avocado on sourdough toast which was wickedly presented and tasted divine with cracked pepper, salt, lemon, pepitas and rocket then we tried the raw treats and they not only looked good but tasted delicious plus the service was amazing too thanks guys! I highly recommend if you're into good quality food made with love❤️❤️❤️
Donna Saurine
I was a bit dubious of the raw food thing, especially the sweet treats, but I am blown away, their "cheesecake" deserts were amazing!!! My coffee was nice and my salad was really delicious too.

Sat there for an hour waiting for food to never come. They had to come out after 20 minutes to ask what coffee we ordered, then to come out again later to say that one of the meals we ordered wasn't in stock. One of the coffees were disgusting and service is not that great. Unless you like sitting there waiting to eat thin air and drink burnt coffee. Would not go there again.

I pretty much live on a diet of Blendlove smoothies & cakes! Their coffees are consistently great, and the staff are always happy & friendly even though they are always so busy!

Awesome food, best vegan cafe on the coast for me so far

Love this place, great atmosphere, great food
Aimee Merrett
Purchased some of the raw cakes, and whilst they look beautiful they had no flavour. I got mint, snickers and a berry one and they all tasted very similar...the mint was hardly minty and they were not sweet at all...almost bland! Such a shame as they look beautiful

What an absolutely amazing place! The only negative I can say is that you are not open for dinner which means I can’t eat at Blendlove 3 meals a day ! All jokes aside with out a doubt some of the best and most tasty meals I have eaten in a very long time ! The smoothies to the coffee to the mushroom dishes and my favourite the nachos, every single taste from this eatery was fantastic! <br/>We just gold coast from our honeymoon and planning to come back in a few months, first stop Blendlove! The atmosphere was great, the service was friendly, all in all a great place to eat ( multiple times ). Thank you again for a great experience see you soon:)

I’ve been here a handful of times, shows promise, if it improved I would return more often.<br/>General: friendly staff, pleasing fit-out, nutritious food (a real plus!), some standout executions of menu items (others lacklustre), the background music is usually overwhelming and so annoying that it deters me from returning more often.<br/><br/>Service: 4/5 (friendly)<br/>Background Music: 1/5 (loud diva/vocals, dominating & distracting - I avoid visiting frequently because of it)<br/>Food 4/5: love the pancakes (better than expected, am rating on that), the corn-fritters were lacklustre (2/5), Big Brekkie big and healthy was ok (3/5)<br/>

Blendlove is a cool little cafe in southport. At first glance i wasn't too keen because it was vegan/vegetarian but because i love all foods i decided to give it a go.<br/><br/>I got the pancakes and they were amazing. The staff were friendly and the coffee was solid. Recommend giving this place a go.
Miya
This place is not actually worth the hype, it was my first visit and we ordered corn fritters they were legit just a can of corn and salsa that was so salty thrown onto the plate. The winter pancakes were actually tough to cut through. Place is expensive for such no quality food. I do not recommend this place despite its 4 star ratings. <br/><br/>

Visited this place for breakfast thrice in one week while on holiday. Great little cafe serving delicious healthy food, with a chill vibe and lots of open space with a nice breeze.<br/><br/>We ordered the avo smash which was in our top 3 of best avo smashes ever. Tasty seedy sourdough with generous amounts of avocado and almond feta. The hashbrowns were made inhouse with garlic and chives, and were incredibly moreish, especially with the vegan hollandaise sauce. The French toast was plentiful with lots of fresh fruit and caramel date sauce. The pancakes were out of this world.<br/><br/>Each time we went the food was consistently good, waitstaff friendly, and we left feeling full and happy. Thanks Blendlove!

Really good spot if you want to enjoy great, healthy food and a bit of sunshine on the terrace. Tasted their pancakes (from the previous menu) And their new French toast. Great presentation and friendly service. I think I have go try their savory food next because the fritters and burgers looked great as well.

Always went past this place and noticed the popularity. Finally went in and it was fantastic. Food was great and the vibe is nice. It’s well worth it and you can see why it’s busy.

Visited blendlove 20 minutes before closing and even though they were packing up the place was still busy with customers (some seemed like regulars) Friendly staff, beautiful decor and inviting atmosphere. Understand why it’s so popular, one of the best acai bowls I’ve ever eaten- and the salads, slices and pastries looked divine. Really keen to try their smoothies and pancakes. 100% recommend. (Menus not on vomato so I attached it!)

Raw Cakes are well presented and the cafe is set up very nicely. The service is great and so are the smoothies but I was a bit dissapointed with the cakes as they lacked flavour and all kinda tasted the same.

As a big meat eater, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a vegan cafe. But I was really impressed with the food! <br/><br/>I ordered the chick pea burger - the taste was great and it was very filling. The quinoa bun was delightful and nothing about the dish was dry. <br/>Tried a bit of my friends pulled pawk burger and this, too, was so flavoursome. The texture was very much like real pulled pork! <br/>We also had the sweet potato fries - roughly cut and cooked brilliantly. They were not too soft and not too crispy. I could eat the cashew aioli all day. So creamy and a nice subtle flavour. <br/><br/>The cafe is upbeat and trendy with a great, relaxed vibe. Staff were super friendly and accommodating! I couldn’t have something on my burger so they even offered an alternative (the almond feta was a lemony delight).<br/><br/>I also had their Mocha Balls to go. These things are dense and filling with a good bit of coffee flavour. <br/><br/>Prices are not cheap. But that’s what you pay for real food and great service. <br/><br/>I definitely want to come here again and try some of their other dishes and treats.

Enjoyed the coffee with good crema here. The dish with portabello mushrooms and mixed nuts was so good - don't mind becoming a vegan with it lol. The proportion of the nachos can be more generous.

Amazing raw cakes! Loved the peppermint choc that one of them recommended. Super lovely and helpful staff. However, speaking from someone who makes all kinds of cakes, it is very expensive for raw cakes. Recommend a try but not a consistent thing!

Love their raw treats and their coffee. Food is always great (recommend the hummus and tomato 👌🏾). I never feel guilty eating here because their menu options are healthy and delicious. Their service is usually 9/10 times great. The space is super cute and trendy! The small cafe can get quite busy, but it's popular for a reason!

Blend Love is a haven of nutritious vegan and gluten free wholefoods.  From their stunning raw treats that sell out daily to their super tasty burgers, you will be coming back for more that's for sure!  <br/><br/>One of Blend Love's burger offerings is the BBQ Ranch Burger which is easily the tastiest vegan burger I've tried on the Gold Coast.  Also gluten free, the quinoa bun encases a house made patty with pineapple mustard relish, topped with a smokey ranch sauce which has a freakishly bacon like flavour. <br/><br/>Top off your lunch with one of their famous raw cube desserts which come in a vast array of magical concoctions.  A favourite is their Choc-Raspberry dessert or as I like to call it, the cube of ecstasy!

Went to the Gold Coast for the weekend and stayed at cousins. Him being local he had taken me around and knowing that I have a love for avocado and sweets he decided to take me to Blendlove. Funny thing we tried going every singleday and by the time we did it had closed. Luckily on my final day, we checked opening hours and I finally got to see why he was so confident in taking me here!<br/>Firstly, the staff are fantastic, extremely friendly and the food was bomb!<br/>I had a the avocado smash - like I always do and it was perfect. Then of course we had to try the cakes! And oh my goodness, they were delicious, unfortunately I was too full to take in all the goodness :(<br/>So, next time I'll be coming on an empty stomach for cake!!! :D

Love this place. A very good example of good vego good. But could go with a kids menu too. Still... not bad considering some of the cuisine the GC has to offer.

Have driven past for ages wanting to give them a try. Parking is terrible, very limited spaces. we had to park at the tavern across the road.<br/>It has a beautiful vibe and friendly atmosphere. We ordered the pancakes and quinoa salad and (which I said three times) a flat white. <br/>We sat outside and I started to notice people who ordered after me getting their coffees etc. we moved inside and got our food. Pancakes were drowning in the sauce and I couldn't cut through them with the cutlery provided, they were quite tough. Didn't finish as it was too sweet. Quinoa salad didn't have much too it, pumpkin tough and too many currants for my liking. Coffee never came, I asked to waitresses. Eventually told I wasn't charged for it. Oh well! Has great potential and fabulous layout just didn't come through for me.

I've drooled over their Instagram posts for years and the time had finally come for me to experience one of Blendlove's drool-worthy raw treats in person. <br/><br/>Alas, when I arrived at the cafe half an hour before closing time, I was suddenly in the shoes of Old Mother Hubbard - there were only two remaining varieties of their raw cheezecakes in the display cabinet. It was close but I chose the peanut butter and choc slice over the choc avo pistachio and it was truly perfection on a plate. Raw, vegan never tasted so good.<br/><br/>The afternoon treat was accompanied with a delicious dairy free strawberries and cream smoothie. Give this place a wide berth if you're allergic to nuts but if you have a sweet tooth and are after a healthy, nourishing treat, this is where you go on the Gold Coast.

The wifey brought me to this spot and to be honest felt really skeptical seeing that there was not a spec of meat on the menu. Surprisingly didn't realise veggies could taste so good and the coffee was great!
Spirited Stardust
For food alone I would rate this 5, but unfortunately the wait time was ridiculous- despite being the only person ordering I waited OVER 20minutes for 3 smoothies to take away. With the kids in the car it was just too long. <br/><br/>Despite the poor service, the food was fabulous.<br/>We had the strawberry and...<br/><br/><br/>New visit: we got the banoffee espresso smoothie, raw vegan ferrero rocker and cookie dough slice, lemon creme berry breakfast bowl and a Thai salad - friggin loved it.
GCfoodie
I'm not a vegetarian but I *used to* love their veg salads! Recently however, they're adding more rice and quinoa to their salads. Pretty sure this is just a cheap way of filling up the salads because they're no longer nearly as good with all of the added carbs. A salad should have predominantly veg not carbs. A shame that they've changed their recipes as I would have previously given a 4.5 but now I'm only giving a 3.

Food is yummy and amazingly healthy as well as great coffee but the prices are a bit steep for what you are getting. All in all great establishment to come for a treat or a snack
Rhee
Their vegan "Cheezecakes" are AMAZING! Hands down the best I've had. The coffee is also really good which is a great relief since no one on the GC seems to be able to make a decent cup of the stuff. Highly recommended!<br/>Ps. The staff are lovely too
Feedmerocket
Not many food options surprisingly if you want a meal. The little vegan cakes and that are quite good and it seems like a very social and busy cafe most of the time. It's not in a very central area so I wouldn't go out of my way to go there but it's not bad.
MEM
Food is nice but service is appalling. Ordered with a group of four. Two received their food, while the other two waited an additional 30 minutes after their food arrived. Staff hadn't even noticed that the food took so long. No apology from the staff. Paid $18 for a burger and was told it would cost an additional $1 for sauce. We went there on a lunch break from work so had to take it away. Given the long wait I would have expected at least an apology and probably some free sauce...
Silvia Duan
it's nearly my everyday breakfast spot. the most beautiful green tea smoothies and Berry bows. it's the vagans' paradise. all raw cake are fantastic rich with full flavors. veggie burgers is always the first choices

Do yourself a favour!!!!. The coffee is sublime! I get three shots in mine (i'm a caffeine freak) and there is no hint of bitterness. It is a great bean. <br/>The sunrise cold-pressed juice has got a perfect balance of flavours and the smashed avocado on rye sour dough is a real hunger-buster. <br/>But I digress - it's all about the cakes! They are just delicious. All of them. Every single flavour - delicious. I'm a fan of the white Choc Caramel...... And the peppermint choc chip.... And the raspberry choc....... All. Of. Them. <br/>On top of all this "good for you" food and supremely smooth coffee - the staff are friendly and down to earth. A great place - very popular with locals. Viva Blendlove!!!

Being early, the display cabinet is fully stocked with neatly arranged squares of raw cakes in fifteen tempting varieties. White chocolate and raspberry, Cookie dough, Toffee-layered banoffee, Turkish delight and Chocolate and raspberry… the choice is almost overwhelming. At $7 each (or three for $20) they seem like expensive goodness, but if you’ve taken the time to make a raw cake, you’ll appreciate the labour and ingredients used.
