Merlo at the Fortitude Valley was the place to enlighten my coffee hobby. Finished a meeting at Southport so dropped to Market@Ferry Road exploring its sibling. Wow! There were many people waiting for the take-away orders and even there are two espresso machines running and it could not keep place with the orders. Managed to have a small table and took a seat enjoying my refreshment(banana bread), which gave me a surprise. The aroma and texture of this refreshment misleading my palate for the feeling of having banana instead of bread. What a wonderful feeling to go with my favorite coffee! Thumb up!

Buzz. A really nice coffee roasting house in the Ferry Road Markets complex. There is a real buzz in this place that is always filled with people and a high energy. Coffee is roasted before your eyes whilst a team of baristas are busily pouring the next perfect cup. A wide selection of beans are available for purchase as well as cups of coffee. A nice place to have the afternoon caffeine fix.
Long black is bitter and nutty and cappuccinos, frothy and as coffee is grinded by the minute, you are guaranteed fresh beans.
