The manager Margaret earned a 5 stars review for this restaurant. She was lovely and came over to our table to have a little discussion with us. Staff were well presented and paid good attention to detail. - I and my friend were happy with the food price. - time of cooking and serving the meal was very quick. - food tasted great too. Thanks for the awesome service.

Loving this place! The place is perfect to dine in while listening to the DJ while playing a beautiful music.Their staff are very accommodating and very friendly. We highly recommended this place.

Love this place for cocktails and an awesome lunch in a Friday. Great service, friendly smiles and fast service, cocktails were great. Full of flavour and certainly not weak. Haha

Checked website. Open. Rang to check. Message said busy. Reality CLOSED and not looking like opening anytime soon. No hours on wall. This is not the first time we've tried to get a meal from Swannies to find it's closed (prob 3 or 4 times). Inconsistent and random hours. Cannot comment on quality of breakfast or anything else.

Very nice ambience, live music Fridays and Saturdays. Great food, always fresh, good value, awesome drinks and cocktails...space to have a dance...ALL IN ONE...yep, that's the Swannie's ;0)

Amazing staff & service, fabulous food & amenities! The drinks were reasonably priced with a great variety! Music, well...Sex & Chocolate are quality, professional & fun - they work hard & keep the crowd rocking! Where do I begin?! Absolutely INCREDIBLE staff, delicious food and gorgeous drinks! We were thoroughly taken care of and tried some of the staff recommendations, which let me tell you, exceeded our already high expectations; above and beyond! Best date night my partner and I have been on in ages. The live music was the cherry on top of our epic evening. A definite MUST TRY hidden Gold Coast gem! Pro tip: get the Swannie's Celebration cocktail for the prettiest, yummiest drink you will ever have in your life (and that's coming from a bar tender myself). THANK YOU Swannie's!!! We will be back as soon as our food comas wear off!

Swannie’s had a great feel and wonderful food. We were served by an incredible waitress named Yolandi who gave some of the best customer service on the GC!!! Strongly recommend coming here :)

Ordered a full size nachos and was served the $5 snack size, questioned it and was then given a second snack size so paid $15 for two $5 snack size nachos. Menu says oven bake tortilla chips - actually got regular corn chips so that was super disappointing also. My friend found what appeared to be a fish tooth in her Seafood Linguini and the bottle of water for the table that was requested when placing our order didn’t eventuate into anything.

Fabulous venue. Numerous friends had recommended this place before I visited. Great atmosphere, great staff and great mojitos. I'll definitely be back �

Pretty average experience last week. The waitress was awful and instead of taking used plates from the table she kept squeezing new plates in front of us and looking at us strangely when we were missing a meal. Tapas menu had 3 items that we considered ordering until we were told that they don't make them anymore. The rest of the food was ok but certainly not worth going back for. The rest of the service was pretty average. No real effort put in while we were there.

Great venue, fantastic atmosphere, centrally located, Swannies is the place to be when a well deserved time with family and friends is on the menu. Highly recommended.

We stopped going to Swannies a very long time ago as it went down hill but now Simon has put the hospitality back! You can feel that the atmosphere has changed. Great venue that now has great staff. �

What a total scam. There are no such things as lava lamp cocktails. It was all a marketing ploy to get people there. Shocked as we travelled far to drink one of these non existent drinks. When we asked the bar lady, she calmly said its made from oil and you cannot drink it and it was just for a video. Well that video clearly states its drinkable and good for hangovers etc. This lava lamp cocktail video must be removed immediately before more people are scammed into going there.

I like Swannies. Great music Friday nites. Friendly staff & a wide age group. Only gripe is Latin music in back bar playing at same time as music in front bar. Makes for a confusion of sound.

We had Dinner (amazing Lamb Ragout and Cajun Chicken Pizzas), Drinks & Cocktails, listened to/watched/sang along to 'Sex & Chocolate', and people-watched a fun & friendly crowd all dancing & enjoying themselves. All of the staff at Swannie's were amazing. They went above and beyond for our work's Xmas party. The outside courtyard was very spacious with plenty of seats & tables. The array of food was delicious. The ambience and atmosphere is very relaxing yet fun. Very easily located near to the Cecil Hotel and Tram Line. Highly recommended. I look forward to enjoying this lovely place again.

I was suuuuuper hungry when i got here after a long drive in traffic from Brisbane! <br/><br/>I decided to go for the eggs Benny! If in doubt, get the Benny!! Tasted great, didn't feel too heavy, i hate when you have a brekkie and you can barely move for about 2 hours after it.<br/><br/>I really liked the decor in here as it is different to any other cafe/restaurant. Seems like it would be a really cool place to come for a few afternoon drinks, to kick back and catch some serious vibes.<br/><br/>I had an espresso, and a green smoothie, which for me is a perfect combo. Coffee hit + Healthy Juice. Would i recommend? If you want to have a tasty feed, and catch some serious vibes on the coast, yes!

The Coffee was ok but nothing to shout about, the milk a little burnt and a lack of late art, this being the reason I have no pictures from the experience. The Orange Juice it was nice but nothing I haven’t seen before. The Food & Service. A first glance at the Menu and there was a nice selection of dishes, big and small to suit most people which is always good. The Menu is where I suppose it ended. I went for the eggs Benedict adding the bacon and mum the smashed avo and fetta.

Hands down best in Southport. Fantastic service, menu and food! And don't even get me started on the cocktails. Delicious. Love love love it! Highly recommend trying it if you haven't already.<br/>

Great drink & food specials with live entertainment every night- this place is the perfect choice for your after work drinks and tapas or romantic date night. $5 happy hour and $10 pizzas :) Winning!!!

I can not recommend swannies highly enough. great food great service and an awesome looking venue. I organised my partners 30th birthday with them and it was awesome!!!

I enjoyed the food and drink here. The prices are anything but cheap but it's ok to visit every now and again. The live music was great and the staff were friendly enough.

I love this place. Not only is the interior super awesome (the best on the coast) the tapas is spot on! I love coming here for after work drinks! I checked out there wine and whiskey Wednesdays last week it was so good! Free wine & cheese tastings. Swannies is a must!

Great venue with live music! Best thing to happen in Southport for a long time. I particularly like the tapas and the sweet potato fries are amazing.

Swannies definitely did not disappoint with the Whiskey and Cigars and Wine and Cheese Wednesday. Was a great atmosphere and the venue looked amazing. I'll definitely be back next Wednesday!

This place is AMAZING! Great food, great service, great prices, great everything! Bartender makes the best cocktails and the tapas are really top notch. Definitely recommend. 5 out of 5.

Although the service was friendly & the hostess gave a warm greeting sadly the coffee was not up to standard. Well my standard! It probably would have been fine if you enjoy your brew average strength but I did order mine strong. Not a bad flavor though. I also noticed some beautiful looking desserts in the cabinet, but forget the name of the one I had my eye on, pan something see pic?

Dad and i came here for dinner 2nite. We had to ask to place our order because the waiter was too busy chatting. We ordered the chicken wings as a starter, which it didnt say they were deep fried, surprise surprise of course they were really dry. Then for mains we both ordered the ribs and rumps...the only thing good on my plate was the sweet potato fries. The steak was unseasoned and only half well done, so i didnt eat the other half. The ribs were 3/4 fat that i had to cut off, which ive never had ribs ive had to do that to ever! The salad was the only thing that had flavour but drenched in oil. My dads steak was unseasoned also, his ribs were also 3/4 fat he had vegs and mash which the mash was lumpy and all vegs not cooked and unseasoned. The service and food was awful. First and last time we will visit and ill be telling everyone to stay away.
