Review Flavours@ferry - Southport

I have been using 'flavors' regularly for the past 12 months. I heard the ownership had changed. The sign on the street said 'new menu'. Hoped things had changed. Previously the 'specials ' were always the same. Nothing has changed. Same menu.Same mediocre service - the staff were to busy sweeping the floor and polishing glasses to provide any table service. When my whiting arrived it was plonked unceremoniously on the paper I was reading on the table. how rude .When I wanted another glass of wine I had to call out to get attention. The meal had gone down hill. Previously the chips were hand made and crisp ... now frozen straw potatoes and soggy. The presentation was not up to its former standard. I'm always prepared to give a restaurant a second chance. This one has had three chances. I wont be back

Came here for breakfast and have nothing good to say unfortunately. The manager looks like he's come to work directly from a night out, my coffee was presented as a Soy flat white (ordered a skinny fw) and the waitress said oh yeah, it's not soy...our breakfasts were boring. Avocado and eggs on dry toast. Pancakes served without requested icecream and my bircher muesli came with Bananas instead of berries. Never coming back.

We had the Chicken Caesar salad and Panko chicken burger and both were delicious. Friendly and welcoming staff and the service was goo. The venue is modern with a relaxed feel and ideal for that late lunch on the weekend with a wine or two.

Shocking service. No recognition on entry once seated, just ignored if they are slightly busy. I person (whom I assume is the owner) is rude and arrogant. I wouldn't even go back to use their toilet. One of the worst cafes I have been to.

Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. Service is pretentious, food very basic. Not an enjoyable dining experience at all. Will never recommend to anyone

Agree with others. Service really bad, average coffee and they don't serve brekkie at 11.30 on Sunday morning.

Ordinary breakfast and weak coffee (even with a double shot). Staff were not friendly.
