A nice shopping centre, with many shops, easy to do grocery shopping or to do shopping for some nice things, also some nice restaurants and some great shops to buy fresh fruit and vegetables.

Situated just down the road from our Motel, this place has been around for some time, I remember it from many years ago when I last visited? Still a great shopping experience, lots of variety stores and eateries.

Not sure why we ended up in a shopping centre while traveling in Gold Coast and shopping was not necessary on our mind. However, it was a pleasant experience. The centre takes a huge amount of real estate. Walking thought the entire centre can easily meet your steps goal for the day. It mostly have no more than two levels with very high ceilings. And there are a lot of open spaces so despite the overwhelming amount of shops there's never a boxed in feeling. If you are visiting Gold Coast make sure to check out some local brands. There are also ones from nearby Byron Bay. Big names are also dotted around the centre. Unlike most shopping centres around east coast, there are several concentrations of food outlets, thanks to all the space. Make sure to look around before settle down for a meal.

I have seen this place develop from the very beginning. Southport has sort of grown around it. It's an iconic Gold Coast retail destination. There looks to be some renewal going on. 35 years ago it was a gleaming must-see destination. Looking a bit tired in parts. The freshen up will do wonders. It is still somewhat of an anchor for the local community. It had more of a village atmosphere which was delightful to see. There is lots to see and experience in Southport. If your journey starts at Australia Fair, you're off to a good start!!

Broad selection of stores not found in Pacific Fair. Quieter but makes it easy to navigate. Short walk from the tram station and street level surrounding stores and China Town area. Plenty of food options and clean facilities.

It's an old shopping centre, but the food court is 5 star rated, which remind me the food court in any airport. I particularly like level 5 South car park where there is a nice view of the ocean of Broadwater.

Oldy but a goody! Plenty of parking for customers and a variety of shops. Cinemas are comfy, along with a pub attached which serves a great steak and ice cold beer many locals continue to shop here not just because the place is equipped with all the essential shops but also for the convenience of access to Broadwater park and also ease of parking or utilising one of the many public transportation options available in the vicinity.

A highly underrated shopping center. It is smaller but that can mean more efficient shopping, more available parking, and more available seats at a cheaper cinema. The food across the center at China Town Southport is some of the best on the Gold Coast. There is a gem at Australia fair that exists no other place in Queensland. The vien bakery at Australia Fair makes the best Vietnamese Baguette (Banh Mi) I have eaten in all of Australia. Don't believe me? Go try it!
