Review My Cambodia - Springvale

Min Min
The rice noodles soup here is so authentic and beautiful. Not a fancy restaurant but food is amazing with cheap price too. Highly recommended.

Not a fancy restaurant Ordered #1 and #4, amazing! Also tried the bitter salad, it turned out to be quite refreshing, but really bitter
Malcolm Peou
Phnom Penh noodles are good and authentic as expected, and at just $12 per bowl - it represents great value compared to Pho which is slowly approaching $20/bowl now in Melbourne. Will be back to try some other dishes.

Great food, never been to Cambodian but you can feel it here

My friend Intro me to this place. his Cambodian Chinese and told me this place makes one of the best Broken rice dish in springvale. I also love to share this place with you guys . hope u enjoy this nice Asian restaurant.

The Cambodian noodle really tastes like Penang koay teow teng. Price is very reasonable.
Dan S
This is a gem. The food variety and taste is really authentic and of good quality. And at very reasonable prices too. We are regular here thus the five star rating. Highly recommended.

I went there with my family, trying out different Asian foods and found this little hidden gem. The people are great and food are authentic and cheap!

The meat is always tender and serving generous. Great for kids my 8 year old says she can eat all day every day.

MY CAMBODIAN is a 4 1/2 star shop front casual restaurant which serves up a mixture of food from Cambodia, Thai and Vietnam.

The service is typical of many Asian restaurants were you raise your hand or grab the attention of the staff to order or if you desire anything - all staff were friendly and happy to assist with extra tea, water, containers, drinks etc.

The restaurant restroom was a combined storage toilet and was clean and offered all necessary items.

The group of 14 ate lots of dishes-

Cubed beef no.25 $19- a must try as the beef was so tender and the dipping sauce full of peppery flavour.

Vietnamese seafood pancake no.54 $15 was huge, served with iceberg lettuce, cucumber, mint and an amazing nutty sauce that is to die for.

Spicy chicken ribs no.96 $18 was well worth the money, served with chili, spring onion and garlic- very morish.

Spicy beef sausages no.99 $13 that are similar to Thai beef sausages yet not as spicy (actually they were very mild which was fine and a coarse texture). They were served with delicious pickled cabbage, carrot and cucumber yummy that complimented the sausage well.

We also had Salted fish fried rice no.14 $10 that was eaten alone and used to soak up any remaining sauces. The fish rice itself as a stand alone dish needed more salted fish or soya sauce to add to the true nature of the dish.

Prawn spring rolls and Vietnamese rice paper rolls were also eaten consisting of fresh noodles and herbs. Both were pretty standard yet the accompanying sauces made them stand above the stand dish.

With smiling faces, realistic prices and decent servings, this is definitely a restaurant to try.

Booking recommended.

loved the Phnom Penh noodles. Will be back to try other dishes. Service was acceptable during off peak hours.
Should not be mopping the floor whilst customers are eating.

Poor customer service from 1 staff member and unfortunately 1 staff spoiled the rest have been dining at my Cambodia for 8+ years and will not be returning.
Michelle
Amazing food and service! We had the Cambodian noodle and Vietnamese pancake, portions were very fulfilling and tastes authentic too. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes

Points For: authenticity, value

The Phnom Penh Noodle soup is pork and shrimp based, and you can have it with soup or dry. I haven't introduced this to any of my friends who didn't love it. The spring onion, coriander and minced pork work so well together, and it's just a comforting dish.

For more banquet dining, the beef lemongrass soup is traditional, which has tender beef, tripe and morning glory. The flavour is beefy and a little sour.

Can't go wrong with the spicy chicken spare ribs as well, which is essentially fried chicken with chilli, garlic and spring onion.

Pippies with Thai basil, garlic and soy/oyster sauce goes very well with rice.

The rare beef salad is also traditional, with thin strip of lean beef quickly blanched and tossed in a lemon, mustard and lemongrass dressing.

The spicy beef sausages are deliciously moreish (sorry for using that term), but it’s herby, mild, savory with little bits of beef and fat. The casing pops on bite.

The restaurant can get surprisingly hectic during peak times, with both expats wanting an easy homely meal, and Westerners chasing that experience they had that one time they travelled Cambodia.

Well recommended for something different, delicious and good value.
Sunny Days Melbourne
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and pricing of the food here. It was a busy Sunday morning when I visited My Cambodia. Service was warm and friendly. The menus were full of photos of their dishes which made it easy to order.

We had the Phnom Penh noodles - one dry and one soup. The noodle soup was outstanding. It was chock full of meats and the thin rice noodles were cooked perfectly. The broth was low in MSG but high in tastiness. Unfortunately the dry version was disappointingly dry and had to be drenched in soup. But for $9 a bowl, I really shouldn't be complaining!

I will definitely be making My Cambodia a regular haunt from now on!

We came here to eat as we have always walked past but never gone inside
The place was packed and I was excited ! I was really sad that I was unable to try the beef noodle soup however the Phnom Penh was some of the best I’ve ever tried ! We also got the spring rolls which was ok- literally prawn wrapped in pastry and deep fried and I got the Cambodian soup with ribs - this was a very acquired taste which I am still on the Fence about

My Cambodia’s menu has a little bit of Cambodian, Vietnamese, Chinese and Thai influence. This ticks all the boxes of “let’s have something Asian tonight”. From stir fry to noodles and soup, My Cambodia serves up a storm of flavours. The only average dish I had was the Crab Fried Rice (it wasn’t fluffy and lacked in “wokhei”).
Highlights: Shaking beef and lemongrass beef soup

It was risky choosing to go here as a vegetarian. But I haven't eaten much Cambodian food and felt I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try some in Springvale. There are close to no naturally veg options on the menu, but our waitress advised they could remove meat from some dishes. We opted for the stir-fried rice drop noodles (served with a fried egg instead of meat) as our main starch. The noodles were thick and chewy and didn't have tons of flavour, but we're served with a sweet and slightly vinegary sauce. I'm sure the lack of meat was also responsible for the lack in flavour. But an accompaniment of tofu (sans minced pork) made up for it. It was served with a sauce that reminded me of a rich Japanese curry. The only disappointing dish was the papaya salad, which was chock full of seafood. At worst I've had some similar dishes before with a few dried prawns on top that I could pick around, but this was filled with dried and fresh prawns, fish sauce and little crab arms. It might be nice if you like seafood, but unfortunately it was a pass for me. Vegetarians should be wary when ordering here, but I still very much believe it's worth a try regardless of your dietary persuasion.

My Cambodia looked busy from the outside so we thought why not check it out. Heaps of options of food! A really good menu. The food delivered was quite authentic and full of flavour
Andrew
Excellent restaurant with a great variety of foods.
Very busy compared to those around it so it would be hard to miss.
Found the dice beef on tomato rice to be great, considered this better than most other places.
However, the rice noodle dish I didn't like too much. Felt this was lacking flavours and nothing special to it.
Service here was nice.

First visit upon recommendation by a friend who lives in the area. According to him, it’s authentic and most of the food served here are delicious and cooked by elderly aunties. That’s why.

Ambience: 2/5
Food: 4/5
Service: 4/5
Cleanliness: 3/5

Will come back to try out some other food on the menu. They have thai food too. Looks nice.

My Cambodia is definitely my favourite place to eat. The Tom yum seafood noodles is my comfort food at all time. Love the taste and everything about it. One of the waiters always remember that I don’t like spring onions or garlic, and he is always make sure I don’t get any of those. Good on him! Overall, nice food and good service. Will always always going back!
Bun's Food Diaries
I've walked pass this place so many times and admittingly didn't give it a go due to the tacky looking inside and out. Still we decided to give it a go due to the good ratings on Zomato. Turns out the food was quite nice - flavoursome without being overbearing and not too strong on the msg. I had the beef/carrot soup which I had with rice separately ordered, I would order again. Chinese combination vegetables was a plain vegetarian dish but suited me well as I tend to appreciate the natural taste. If you are keen on spices, I did see the nice little selection of chilli paste/sauces on the side. Service was a little slow, especially as people starting really rolling in at around 6pm this Sunday night. As long as you come for food and nothing elsewhere you would find it alright. Also being a cash only joint, it is conveniently located right next to an ATM.
Mustard
You can get a mixture of Cambodian, Vietnamese and Thai dishes here but is the only real Cambodian presence in Springvale. We visited here when the weather turned for the worse and didn't want to wait outside for BBH.

I got their stir fried rice drops, thick rice worms with beef, egg (slightly runny) and some vegetables. It looked oily but it wasn't too bad. It is accompanied with some sort of fish sauce which helped cut the oiliness.

Where they really shine is during dinner service when you can get shared dishes between friends. It's one of the best ways to try a wide variety of dishes and where they can showcase their flavours.
Obsessedwithfood
Authentic food, service is average but who seriously cares when food is cheap, fresh and amazing. Best Asian restaurant in springvale. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. There’s a mix of Cambodian and Thai food.

I love trying out new cuisines at unfamiliar places, be it suspicious looking or not, and whether I walk out knowing that I have discovered a hidden treasure is entirely a different part of the story. The thrill seeker in me would still be glad to have at least ticked another place off my books. Among the three of us, I was the only one who had not been to Cambodia and so, was probably the one who should be the most curious at the menu. Sadly, my companions disappointed me by not knowing much about the local cuisine despite having visited the country prior. Oh well, so that makes three of us on a new venture then...
KN J
It was not the most promising start to our dining experience when eating staff had to be moved from our supposedly booked table. We had to get our own highchair and carry it over the heads of other patrons despite requesting it with the booking and with the server. We waited for ages before actually asking for a menu. They tried to put two random people on our table despite us telling them that two more people were joining us, albeit late.

We ordered crispy noodles with beef, crispy chicken and rice, shaking beef with rice and a popular Cambodian soup.

While the food was decent, the atmosphere and the lack of service would be a deterrent for me to return. I am used to the hustle and bustle of Asian restaurants but I'm only willing to suffer through it if there's exceptional food. This place is quite busy and popular with the locals.

5 stars. Say no more. Drove from the western suburbs to go get some authentic Cambo fix!! Huge servings, great price. Even took away 4 meals. 👌🏻
Marcus Cheung
Had the broken rice dish here and was very pleasantly surprised! Flavours were very nice and at $10, could not complain one bit! Will definately come again to try something different.
Rachael
Super cheap average ($10) each plate. Full sized, hearty meals, four types of cuisines (Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese and Cambodian) but I only tried the Cambodian flat noodle cha rau soup and combination broken rice. Both were excellent and I loved the variety of sauces and possible additions with at least four types of chillies. Staff are lovely and accommodating.
Mad Dawg
Entered this quaint little joint for lunch. We ordered broken rice, special fried rice and a coconut shake. The pork in the broken rice was crispy with good seasoning. Surprisingly, the fried rice was not excessively oily at all! The coconut shake was refreshing. The floors appeared quite dirty. Overall food was good but the cleaniness could do with a touchup.

AMAZING FOOD!! Excellent service, was so accommodating !! Reminds me of my mums cooking which is EXTREMELY hard to beat!! I will definitely come again. I absolutely enjoyed it !

Justin
This place is awesome! The serving sizes are huge and delicious. Following the waiters recommendation I Ordered number 1 with dry noodles rather than soup. The dish was delicious and full of ingredients! We also got the beef with tomato rice which was easily the biggest serving we have seen and equally delicious.
Jennitals
LIT!: the customer service was prompt! I had the tender beef on rice and the phen noodles dry. Both dishes had big portion sizes and were very tasty. Anddd it was about $10 a dish!

NOT SO LIT: the avocado smoothie had wayyy too much condensed milk in it and not enough avocado considering that they have raised the price of this. I didn't really taste much avo at all.
Ling Yap
Small diner with various meals at $10. Cheap eats but taste is so-so and too oily. I had the Thai fried rice & came with so much fat pork belly! My colleagues ordered the 5 spiced Cambodian noodles which was alright. The Crab fried rice was big portion but we can't see any crab meat except for egg and vege.
Luke And Hannah
Not the best Phnom Penh Noodle Soup we tried but probably the best in Melbourne.

We were recommended to try this popular Cambodian dish here at this place so naturally we went there on a Saturaday lunch. The place was a quarter to full.

Luke ordered the Phnom Penh Noodle Soup while Hannah got the dried version. Both were pretty delish. You know that the rice vermicelli were freshly made by their taste and texture. The noodles were smooth and firm. The broth was very balanced and naturally sweet. Some of the key ingredients in the authentic version such as minced pork, fried shallots, and coriander were included. There were tons of other stuff in the bowl - squid, blood jelly, prawn, pork meatball, pork meatloaf which all went well together.

We haven't had the chance to try other dishes yet but so far this place definitely has the most authentic Phnom Penh noodle soup in Melbourne. Service was quick and polite enough.
Pho Sure
Menu item no. 1 not too bad prefer the Vietnamese made version of the Cambodian dish but that's my taste. Clear clean soup, meats are ok. Standard service as expected. Fast in and out lunch. Will go again.

Craving for Khmer Authentic food ? This place will be the best choice for u. I come here at least twice a month. The meat portion of every dishes is quite a lot and I love it ! 🍲🍚🍛

Great service, fast + delicious food!! Have gone here multiple times and loved it every time. Portion sizes were good and flavours on point. Would definitely recommend the tom yum and the pork chop rice!
Debby
This place offer cambodia, thai, and viet dishes. Interesting. Tried the dry noodle. It was good however the noodle is abit soft for me. I prefer a lil bit harder version of noodle. The pipih is great. It has that tangy saucy flavour. The papaya salad is great too. Kinda similar with the thai version however the papaya slices are bigger than normally in thai and more watery. Would love to try other dishes next time.
Sabrina Ip
You really can't complain!

2 of us ordered 4 different things.
Actually it's too much, but it was worth trying.

The restaurant serves cuisines of Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and Cambodia. Flipping through the whole menu, you would find the least Cambodian dishes even though the name of the restaurant is Cambodian.
You may be disappointed if you're expecting to try authentic Cambodian food.

Noodle soup with minced pork, pork slice, calamari and fish balls.
soup base is not too salty, portion is generous.

Cambodian Steamed fish (entree size)
served in a round plastic container
tasted good and was similar to the authentic flavour of Khmer cusine.

Vietnamese Pancake with herbs, cucumber and lettuce
The side veggies are good combination to make the dish fresh. The fish sauce with peanuts adds more flavour to it. Because the minced pork, prawns, bean sprouts and the pancake are not heavily seasoned. So it's a good match.
the pancake is a bit doughy for inner part in order to hold the stuffing. better pick the edge of it if u like something crispy.

Stir fried beef with satay sauce
not really satay sauce to me. just a usual Chinese dish.

Total price for this dinner: $54 for 2ppx (no drinks or additional rice)

I'd probably come back for their papaya salad!
Only come everyweek for the same thing. The dry noodle (no. 1 in the menu). Its the best noodle in Melbourne. Bought the noodle few time for.family and friend, all.of them give 👍👍

Returned here after a long absence. The cuisine served up here has similarities to both Thai and Vietnamese food, but still seems to have it's own distinct character. This last time I had what I assume is a more classic dish, the Cambodian noodles. It was a bit like pho, except a noodle like thick, round vermicelli is used. The meat and offal used seems to be very similar, as does the colour of the soup, but the flavour of the soup is much less sweet and has a bit less depth to it. It still has that same warm, lifting effect and good tastiness that pho has though. If you enjoy pho and want to try something slightly different for a change, then drop in here. Prices have increased a little over the last few years, but it's still good value.

Really like the chicken spare ribs, beef cubes (very tender) and papaya salad. I like that cut oranges are sometimes provided to you at the end of your meal which is refreshing (free). The owner/s are friendly.
FoodieMania
Beef was really bad. Tasted expired. Not fresh. Flavours didn't work well at all and couldn't really eat it. Surprised at how popular this place was. I had this noodle dish - the soup was very tasty but the meat was weird. The only meat good was the prawn and the minced pork. Sadly there was only one prawn and they should have given a bit more perhaps.
Jennifer Lay
Sooo many different flavours!! Menu is huge. There is Thai, Vietnamese and Cambodian food.
We had pippies with tamarind sauce - was nice but the sauce a bit runny, need more starch.
Beef lemon grass soup - my favourite!
Fried wontons delicious, generous serving.
Curry chicken also nice.

Would come back - typical Asian place but attentive staff and food quick to come out.
I have always loved this place for their cambodian beef noodle soup, it's definitely my go to dish whenever Im here. A tasty alternative to normal Viet pho, with chinese broccoli and bits of celery for freshness. The sliced beef is always good quality as well. I branched out a little today with the five spice soup, but it wasn't to my taste, with large amounts of tendon and fatty brisket, still tasty, but the soup needed a bit of tweaking and a bit too oily, but I think that's just the nature of the dish. Just get the beef noodle soup and try the fried chicken as well if you're here.
ForTheLoveOfFood
Food great, fresh and portion good size. Staff friendly when asked for multiple things... Very authentic flavours... Keep me coming back...
FatMan Package
Hmmm used to be a regular. Not anymore. We ordered two broken rice and some Spring rolls. This would normally be around $25 or so...... We asked if we could get fried rice instead of steamed rice. The bill came to $63!!!!
Mmmsedap
Terrible service. When a customer sits down at least bring them the menu first if you are busy bringing out dishes to other tables. What's worse is that the only waitress on the floor decided to have gas bag with one of the customers even though she knew I was waiting on the menu. Got up and went next door. Sat down, tea provided and ordered in less than one minute. That's the way it should be.
CLABEL
Tried this chinese cambodian food, it's basically like chinese food. The spicy chicken ribs, beef and tofu are my faves. Better to book first before you come though. Overall the food was not bad and the portion was pretty big, good to share.

We were traveling to Cambodia, so thought we'd give Cambodian food a try in Melbourne prior to traveling. With the good reviews posted regarding my Cambodia we thought we'd venture over to Springvale to give it a go. Unfortunately this restaurant wasn't for us, the service was great, however the food just wasn't for us - very traditional, the restaurant is a mix of Thai, Cambodian and Vietnamese.
Lloyd Abery
After going to Cambodia I thought this would be great, especially due to the demographic it's in.
I was very very wrong. Service was great, food was bad.
Kea
Best place in Springy! Multiple visits down and the food is still consistently great, standard order of fish noodle soup never disappoints and the Cambodian style tom yum noodle soup, is perfect for those who loves regular Thai tom yum but can't take the spice. Service is absolutely wonderful, the complimentary brewed tea just adds a really warm touch to every meal. Love it!
Thaddeus Ong
I've been to My Cambodia several times and it is consistent every time. They serve one of the best fish noodles around. My go-to place whenever I'm in Springvale or craving for a bowl of delicious noodle soup. Their tom yam soup is delicious as well. Delicious food with reasonable prices
Suburb Review
You would usually come to Springvale for Vietnamese food.... But i now just go to Springvale for this dish- TOM YUM NOODLE SOUP WITH BEEF A 5 STAR! Its the best noodle soup i've ever had and i keep coming back for more! Very satisfying and highly recommended. At $11 a bowl, you can't go wrong!

Second time at this Cambodian shop. First time the sweet and sour mango fish soup was amazing. However the waiter this time was sub par and have no idea what the meals are. The drinks was wrong but change over quickly. The fish was good but the pork rib soup was just a pile of green soup. No pork taste at all. Need a lot of improvement...

I was surprised that the restaurant takes booking, and thoroughly recommend making a reservation. We arrived a little early and it was already packed with a line for walk ins.

We ordered five dishes and two entrees between the four of us, after asking for recommendations from the waiter. He was very helpful and friendly and the service was surprisingly very good for a smaller local Asian restaurant.

We ordered the rice paper rolls and fried dumplings as entrees and lemongrass beef, spicy calamari, spicy chicken ribs, water spinach with pork mince and crab rice as mains. It was absolutely delicious!! My favorite was the rice paper rolls, spicy calamari and crab rice.

Loved the complimentary orange wedges as a finishing touch to your meal. Unexpected surprise in Springvale and would definitely return.

Small tiny very busy place food was ok

Nothing standupish but the food was tasty and presented ok

Staff were very friendly

Priced ok for what we got

Thought for Cambodian food there would of been a few different choices but pretty much main stream Vietnamese food

Menu was hard to follow entrees at the back soups at the front descriptions hard to follow

Overall the food was tasty and we weren't disappointed
Jen Cross
My first try at Cambodian food and we weren't disappointed. Tender beefs were tasty and cooked perfectly. Staff is also lovely. Price reasonable. Will come back!
Cookielessvee
Tried the banh xeo and brokenrice. The ban xeo is delicious and the has just the right amount crispiness and filling. Brokenrice was lacking the taste though. Meat was too dry for my liking, seemed like it was overcooked. The pickled vegies tasted bland and the rice wasnt really warm. Friendly service though
The World Loves Melbourne
The World Loves Melbourne was honoured to be invited on a media tour of Springvale with celebrity chef and media identity Elizabeth Chong. It was if all the nations of the world were together in Springvale, with such a rich cultural diversity, and of course stunning diverse cuisines. Quite simply there are amazing shops here that deliver produce you can't get anywhere else. And it's top notch!

I like going to My Cambodia. When me and one of my friends go to eat in Spingvale we always talk about going somewhere else but we end up at My Cambodia. Sometimes we see Carl working there and he is very friendly and talkative. We always order the same things as well, she gets the lemongrass soup and I get the Tom Yum. It's the best Tom Yum I've had, although it's not very spicy but I think Cambodian food is meant to be less spicy then Thai food. I have been with other people and tried other dishes as well and I like most of them. We had fried chicken ribs tonight with our soup and they were yummy with crispy batter. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 is because we went here with a vegan friend and they accidentally gave her spring rolls with meat a few months ago. Next time I come to My Cambodia I want to try the preserved lemon soup.
MF
Food was good but not special, look like home cooked meal which was good.
I cant really tell the difference between cambodian and vietnamese food so i will still prefer to go to hoa tran if im in springvale area.

I know it's a little thing but the complimentary tea is a really nice effort. It's not so much the cost but the extra care. Food is also good and the owner is just lovely.

I really can't rate this place high enough. I've been coming here with my wife for a few years now and I usually have the Tom Yum Noodle soup and chinese broccoli on the side. My wife has tried countless other items from the menu and they're all good but every tine I end up at My Cambodia despite my good intensiobns to try something different I end up ordering my Tom Yum noodle soup with seafood again, it is just that good.
Service is friendly, fast and efficient and prices are very reasonable. Simply love this place

My friend and I decided to dine locally as neither of us were really in the mood to travel far. Compared to its surrounding competitors, My Cambodia seemed to be pretty busy and so we thought we'd give the place a try. Service is prompt and quick (which is not entirely a bad thing except), much too fast when you're having a catch up dinner with a friend. The food was good, nothing to complain about.

The five spice Cambodian noodle soup was surprising really good and my friend found himself enjoying more than expected. I had ordered some vegetarian rice noodle stir fry which was tasty but typically very oily which was no surprise. Staff was friendly and nice in general, despite the feeling that we needed to order, eat quickly and then make ourselves scarce for customers in waiting.

Food doesn't taste good at all....will not go back again

UPDATE:

Returned last night after a long absence. Food very, very disappointing. Won't be going back.

And I have to tell you folks, culinary heaven is a crispy fried barramundi done in a sweet ginger sauce, with shredded ginger on top. I kid you not, this was far and away the greatest dish I have had in any restaurant for quite a few years. For $20.

I felt like during my last visit to My Cambodia in Springvale we didn’t have much of an opportunity to try out many of their dishes so we went back a few more times. Having enjoyed their tom yum noodle soup so much though, mum just couldn’t help but order it again (and not surprisingly I didn’t object).

Great food great prices. I love this restraunt such great customer service and they are quick and prompt.
it is best to dine in as you get a complimentary soup and flask of tea which I think is a win and the effort for my $9 meal was excellent , love this place and the great prices and workers

my favourite Cambodian restraunt

Great food great prices. Authentic food great service and friendly staff, with prices that don't break the bank.
The tom yum soup is a must !

Horibble customer service experience. Order on the phone for a large Green curry, instead of confirming what I order. The phone operator hangup on me before I even get the chance to finished my sentence. I rock up to pick up the order, it end up being the wrong order what a shocking service.

My favourite restaurant of all time.. I cannot describe how happy and grateful I am that this restaurant exists. Now that I no longer live with my grandmother I am constantly craving the dishes she used to make when I was growing up - and the same quality. Although it would be a lie to say that this restaurant has the same quality as my grandmother's cooking it is still delicious, delicious, delicious. And cheap! And the service is fantastic! Also, in regards to the authenticity of the dishes, Thai, Vietnamese and Cambodian dishes are very similar and influence one another alike. For example some people have said that the yellow pancakes and the tender beef cubes are Vietnamese, but my grandmother and mother and etc. are 100% Cambodian and I've eaten both of those growing up. I'd say they're pretty authentic. 10/10, would eat at for breakfast, lunch and dinner if I could.

Love the food and service. My Cambodia has an awesome waitress there who keeps the temperament of the place really chilled and relaxed. The food is nothing I have tasted before, everytime my girlfriend and I end up going there it's a new adventure and she always says when we go there 'I like to order everything!! Everything looks so good!!!' Which is not far from the truth.

Thanks my Cambodia staff for making the experience relaxed and amazing food

Try the Divine Chicken Ribs ..... Have just been recommended to try My Cambodia, had my second visit there last night the chicken ribs are to die for! The service is fantastic, food is ordered & on the table before you know it. Great flavours, great food, great eating!

I can't speak for what good Cambodian food should be, but the five spice soup sure is tasty

Confused. Read all the reviews and thought id try this place. The food was terrible. Thai fried rice was more like sticky rice with prawns and was sweetish. The lemon grass was oily and could have fed a nation. The table we were seated at was on a slant and unstable. Overall a bad experience. Will not be going here again. Think the 93% rating may be very out dated.
Fifam
Good food however the customer service is below average, but for a great meal with a low price this place is great. Been here many times and food is always fresh and tasty. The oranges at the end aren't though.

Penh Friend. In spite of the name, My Cambodia features a menu encompassing not only Khmer but also Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. I’m often a little cautious when it comes to visiting these multi-cuisine establishments, but I’d heard mostly good things about My Cambodia and an approval rating above 90% on Urbanspoon is generally a reliable gauge.
Wanting to sample something typically Khmer, I selected the Phnom Penh Noodle Soup (Keuy teaw cha kang rao). There’s the option of ordering it ‘dry’ with the clear broth served separately on the side which was my preference.
It’s a hearty dish including thin rice noodles, sliced & minced pork, pig’s blood jelly, pork offal, pork patty & fish balls. It was garnished with spring onion, coriander, fried shallots plus a little sauce/seasoning. For only $8, it was a most satisfying lunch and gratifying enough to make me eager to return for more.

Small little eatery..... but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in flavours. Baramundi in ginger was divine. .... papaya salad was beautiful. I would come back here again for sure

What can I say. Delicious food. Great service. Reasonable prices. The fried chicken is to die for. Don't even start me on the calamari. A must. Couldn't recommend this place more. I love my Cambodia. Could eat there every single night

Fantastic. Far from being our first time to this establishment, we actually make it a regular haunt. Not once have we had anything other than a fantastic feed of the freshest food I've tasted. The fact that the place is packed solid pretty much every night, speaks for itself.

Best Restaurant in Springvale!. Awesome food, cannot go past beef salad, Larb Chicken.
Meals are awesome and of decent size.
Cheap for the quality and taste.
Worth your while if you havent been,
Tables get full quickly though, but always worth the wait!
5 stars!

I take my friends here every chance I get. Highly recommend the beef salad, the paw paw salad, lemon grass & pork soup & barramundi with green mango. The food is very authentic cambodian cuisine, it's just like what my mum would make at home.

My Asian. Having just spent time in Phnom Penh, I wanted to try the Amok Fish Curry which is probably Cambodia's best known national dish. However, it was not on the menu. The food was Vietnamese, Chinese and Thai. Seemed to be very little authentic Cambodian food, so the restaurant's name is a misnomer. However, the prices are fair, the servings generous and the staff friendly and courteous. Recommended for general Asian food, but not specifically for Cambodian food.

Great lunch. Generous serves and very reasonable prices. My Cambodia has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and tasty food. We had three dishes BBQ Pork; Pork spring rolls and Vietnamese pancake and we were absolutely stuffed full.

Great Authentic Asian Food. The restaurant is clean, staff are very friendly, and the food is authentic and excellent. Owner Karl is a great guy who will accomodate all your cuisine needs. Try it out once and you will be back for sure.

Nothing but the hits.. We've sampled a lot of My Cambodia's menu since it's been our weekly local since the old days trading down the road. Every single thing we've tried every single time has been awesome with no embellishment. If My Cambodia was a record you might say it's it's all hits - strictly no filler. Having said that we generally stick to our regulars (greatest hits if u will) of beef noodles, papaya salad and fish curry noodles. Rare to find a place that matches excellent service with next level yummies.

No quibbles about the freshness but didn't have enough of the spicy herbal flavours I crave in real Cambodian food. All the same it isn't bad and would be good enough for most people I guess.

Very nice meals and reasonable price!

Top quality food. We had relished the food we ate when we visited Cambodia earlier this year. This was a great opportunity to remind us of some of the great flavours we had enjoyed . Without question the food is very well prepared. Noodle soup was a bit clogged with noodles and some of those flavours we remembered so fondly we didn't experience again. Nevertheless a great place to eat and the host is a great conversationalist.

My favourite place in Springvale/Melbourne. Great food, friendly service and very affordable. What more can you ask for?
Have been there 3 times now and will definitely be back soon!

The above was my review some two years ago now. Since then me and my girlfriend have been back to My Cambodia about 25 times now I reckon. We just love this place. Every item we've tried so far from the extensive menu was great but I keep coming back for the Tom Yum Noodle Soup with sea food. I just love it so much.

I hope they will never close this place because otherwise I would fall into a very deep food depression, it's that good!

Nice food, friendly service

Food is fantastic so authentic! It is food cooked home style & fresh. The steamed barramundi is huge & requires 20min cooking. Service is fairly quick & helpfull. It's just the best Cambodian food in Melbourne , you must try :)

Service can be abit slow and food can take abit long to come out but the food are worth it. Fresh, delicious and generous. I absolutely love the beef salad. It's a fresh air - taste buds from the vast typical Asian resturants. A must eat!!

The menu boasts a variety of Thai, Vietnamese and Cambodian dishes. But C, S and I decided to stick to the plot – Traditional Cambodian cuisine. We gave C free reign over the menu (which
