Review Desserts By Night - Springvale

P S
Great choice of desserts. The red velvet waffles were the best 👌. The portions of everything else is very small for the price you pay around $20 each. It gets very busy and there is not much seating so not ideal for large groups. Have to wait a while for the seating and food.

One of my favourite dessert places in the area. I have never been disappointed. Pick a dessert and be ready to be surprised. The quality, the presentation, the taste, everything’s perfect!

A great addition to Springvale. I feel that business of this kind will contribute to shape a brand new identity to this suburb & help to transform the vibe of this area. Loved how clean both of the entrances were and the atmosphere of the shop when it gets dark. Service was good, presentation of desserts & drinks excellent & QR code ordering super convenient.

Went here a couple of nights ago with my mates. We ordered the crème caramel milkshake which was perfectly creamy and not overly sweet either. I chose to have the Fudge Chocolate Brownie which was honestly mouthwatering!! Super chocolatey and melts in your mouth. The Oreo crepe we ordered, was good but a bit dry. Maybe adding a bit of chocolate sauce or cream inside, would improve the texture. It still tasted great, though. Overall I absolutely enjoyed my experience there, especially the ambience. So lively and bright.

Nice place, desserts are highly decorated, but slightly industrial, and the place has a dining room vibe. Service also gave a feeling that you need to finish in a hurry... but over all a pleasant place to spend Saturday night.

Although the variety offered was extensive, the wait time was very long. They brought the food out in staggered stages over 45mins. The coffee was bought out first and it was cold. When asked for a new one, they rudely refused and when asked to reheat, they said no and walked away. No apology for late service nor for cold drink. Otherwise, presentation was nice but portions were smaller than expected.

Love their Taro Latte ❤️ Pina Colada was good for photo but the taste was average. A little bit pricey imo. This place always busy but they have enough seats for you. Could be a good option for catching up with friends and take photo.

I’m a extreme picky foodie but this place won my taste with this simple Crème Brûlée bowl. Super satisfied and really enjoyed every single moments of each spoon that I scooped out of the bowl, gently put into my mouth and let the Crème Brûlée melted down and felt it in my soul. Very recommended, super happy and beyond

Finally a good desert place in Springvale. Very filling☆☆☆☆☆

I loved the Pina Colada dessert. It’s definitely my thing. Will continue to order this dessert for at least my next 19 visits.

As we were craving something sweet post dinner, we decided to try this place and it certainly did live up to the hype. We ordered red velvet waffles and Berry cheesecake with some chips on the side to balance out the taste. The desserts were beautifully plated, and we were awestruck with that first bite of cheesecake. It was beyond perfect with the creamy texture, raspberry sorbet on top and the buttery vanilla crumbs that literally melts in your mouth. Red velvet waffles were equally delicious. They've surely got everyone’s sweet tooth cravings covered with the variety of desserts on offer.Highly recommended for all dessert lovers!!

We are locals and both my son and I are wondering why didn't we visit sooner! We were lucky to find seats because it filled up pretty quickly. Tried the frozen chocolate soufflé and it was really good! We will definitely visit again.

I think the desserts here are a little too pricy for what you get and looking at the menu, the prices have increased from when I last visited. The wait times between ordering and food being served are also quite long. I find the desserts to be pretty hit or miss. I enjoyed the creme brulee and lemon/lime tart however the chocolate souffle was just really just a disappointing frozen chocolate mousse.

Not traditionally an area famous for desserts this place fills a real niche. Perfect to visit after some dinner and a good last stop for the night.

Not many places are dedicated to just serving desserts except for Desserts by Night. All menu items look delicious and it’s hard to narrow down which to pick. Guess I’ll just have to keep coming back. <br/>🍽 chocolate brownie - rich fudgy deliciousness <br/>Lemon and lime tart - not too sweet and the tartness of the lemon and lime shines through.<br/>Creme brûlée - perfectly caramelised sugar on top. Smooth custard and not eggy.

Price and portion don’t really go together here

This place is absolutely delightful!!! I’ve been here three times and I LOVE the fact that they sell such high quality desserts until midnight! I have ordered four types of desserts here including the mango pudding, lemon tart, red velvet waffles and the chocolate caramel dome...the latter two of which were EXTREMELY amazing!! One of the best waffles I’ve tasted and the theatrics of melting the chocolate with hot caramel was amazing!!! Absolutely love this place !

Perfection on a plate! 😍<br/>Their desserts are yum, their service is great. And the staff is very nice - cheerful and always smiling. I think everything on their menu is mouth-watering and it's hard to just choose one. One of the best dessert places 🍰<br/><br/>Edit: I ordered from them on Uber eats as I was really ecstatic to find them there. They delivered the wrong item but I called them and they were so quick to fix it. Within 10mins of my call, I had the correct order. Excellent customer service and the owner himself delivered it :)

ordered their frozen chocolate souffle which ended up just being a hard chocolate mousse. disappointing, especially for the price point. i’d recommend heading over the road to breadtop or daniel’s donuts for a better dessert experience

The deserts are amazing, good portion sizes. The wait can be a bit annoying. Fast and friendly staff. Would have been better if they included a picture of the chef’s special dish on the menu. Overall very good experience
Judy
Fantastic local desserts place with a very modern and innovative take on desserts. I went with a simple but also quite decadent red velvet waffles which tasted great but also wasn’t overly sweet because you can adjust the sweetness with the chocolate sauce. Yum!

After wanting to come to this place for months, we finally made it down to desserts by night and were so glad we did!<br/><br/>We were just beyond blown away by all the incredible, beautiful desserts on offer, the menu here is insane and having the pictures to accompany every dessert is such a great idea.<br/><br/>Staff were super friendly and the desserts they selves were very well priced and portioned! We can’t wait to come back to desserts by night for more late night sweet treats!

A nice place to enjoy your dessert that is in the local vicinity. Opens pretty late, allowing the perfect place for a late night catch up.

Our family of 6 came in for what was supposed to be some casual dessert Saturday night, but unfortunately our experience was marred by some terrible service. We mostly are working professionals in our 20s and 30s. We sat down, looked at the menu, and went to the cashier to order our food. I had brought a short small game (Werewords) to play while we waited for our food. This game takes less than 10 minutes and takes up minimal space. After explaining the rules and starting, we were told by a serving girl that we could not play games there. No explanation was given as she walked off. This is a fairly casual cafe so I was perplexed. I went up to the cashier and asked for an explanation and she got the owner to have a chat. He explained that "it was the rules" and he didn't want people to play for hours. I explained that was fair enough, but that our game was short (10 minutes!) and we wanted to play while we waited for our food. Does the same rule apply to people playing games on their phone? He said he would make no exceptions and I told him it was unfair to tell paying customers "the rules" after they've already sat down and paid for their food. I suggested he put these rules up on the entrances where people could see it - he said he would. <br/><br/>By now, a couple of us were a bit put out and not really in a mood to enjoy our food. The first dessert came out (pavlova), but was taken away after one of us had already touched it and was taken to another table. By the time 3 of our 4 desserts had come out, it had been over 20 minutes. We had just about finished those desserts 10 minutes later and our pavlova still hadn't arrived so we tried to cancel it since we were essentially finished and ready to leave, but they said it was coming out. Meanwhile a table that ordered more than 5 minutes after us started getting their food. The pavlova finally arrived and 5 of us waited as the other finished her food. <br/><br/>To balance the review, I will say the lemon-lime tart was pretty good (the others were just ok). The cashier girl was new, but made fun conversation and was quick to get the owner when asked while keeping a good attitude. The owner came to our table after the conversation above and tried to explain his position again so props for trying. He's a soft-spoken guy, presumably nice, but just went about this the wrong way. The subtitle on their business card says "joyful desserts", but we did not have a fun time and they've lost 6 customers. In the grand scheme of things, this review is of course a drop in the ocean. There are many people in Springvale and around who will keep coming - and that's great; I hope they continue to do well. I can tell plenty of people have had a positive experience here, and ours was an exception. The owner kept asking us to "think about my business" and I can empathise. I would not want people sitting for hours or probably even 10 minutes after they've clearly finished when high turnover is important. But what we're doing while we're waiting shouldn't be dictated provided we're not being disruptive and especially if the service is slow.  In turn, I would challenge Desserts By Night think a little harder about their service and how small acts of kindness and common sense could go a long way to making their customers feel that joy instead of providing a disappointing experience.

the waffles here are sooo good, first time coming here was such a good decision. Loved the food and customer service

We came to desserts by night the other day and was in love with all the innovative masterchef like desserts they offered. My favourite was the strawberries and cream dessert as well as the mango pudding. They also had a chocolate sphere that they were test trailing and it was not only so pleasing to look at but tasted amazing. The good thing about the desserts here is also that they are not sickening sweet<br/><br/>Thanks for having us <br/>
Ray
Yummy instagramable desserts, slow service and difficult to get a table.<br/><br/>Recommend the red velvet waffle. The Vietnamese iced coffee is average and watered down.

Desserts by night provides an extensive selection of sweet treats from decadent indulgent ones to light & fruity options! Every dish is presented beautifully! 😍 The price tag is rather affordable in my opinion & definitely value for money! We ordered the caramel & chocolate dome & mango pudding! 🥭🍮Both were rather delightful, especially the chocolate dome which allowed you to personally drizzle the hot caramel sauce only to reveal a cornell of ice cream sitting on a cake of sorts. 🍫 The only downside is there was no salted caramel flavour as promised on the menu but just your regular caramel. 🥺 Will be back to try their other sweet treats! 🍬

Saw this dessert place on Instagram and thought I must come visit! I mean it is very hard to find a decent dessert place in the suburb at such an affordable place!<br/><br/>We came on a Saturday late afternoon and the store is pretty quiet. Everything on the menu looks very tempting. We ordered the special coconut dessert, creme brulee and a genmaicha latte. <br/><br/>The genmaicha is so pretty! The cup the latte art and the taste, and the portion size is big even I asked for a small one. I assume they only have 1 size for all. The tea flavour is authentic and it is great to match with a sweet dessert.<br/><br/>I love my coconut cheesecake, not too sweet and the presentation is 100%. So pretty and with the white chocolate ball hanging on top makes it super fun and cute.<br/><br/>The creme brulee is also great with crispy golden sugar glaze on top and a sobet to balance the flavour.<br/><br/>Hands down another one of my go-to dessert in the future.

Finally some fancy dessert place in Springy! I’m just really happy that I now have somewhere to go pho a dessert after pho 😝 I’m going to slowly savour this place and only get one dessert to share every time I come (also its a little bit higher than my dessert budget🤣)
Robin
I have only been here once and had the pina colada but given how tasty it was I will definitely be back. The desserts are massive too (I shared with my wife) so keep that in mind - is definitely possible to share here! I actually can’t wait to go back and try some more...
Angel_eatz
As someone who doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth this place was great as the desserts weren’t too sweet. In addition, after eating the desserts I didn’t have that heavy gross feeling.

What a SPOT! 😍 @dessertsbynightspringvale has to be by far one of my favourite dessert spots out at the moment! 👌🏽 classy quality desserts all day long! The menu is ridiculously good 😉 packed with all your classic favourites plus the addition of a wide range gorgeous extras 😏 don't even think twice about getting down there if you're feeling for an out of this world dessert! 🤤<br/>.<br/>✔️ 10/10! Desserts by Night is located on Springvale Road in Springvale right near the station. Open from 12pm to 12am, it offered a range of gorgeous desserts with a strong Asian influence. The interior is spacious & modern with plenty of room for hungry diners. We were invited to visit to try the desserts & were excited to check it out. <br/><br/>With a wide range of dessert dishes from waffles & crepes to creme caramel & some more theatrical desserts, the presentation was a standout. <br/><br/>We tried the Piñata, a fun dessert with a sphere swinging above the main dish ready to be cracked. A great balance of flavours with coconut, passionfruit & berries working well together & impressive presentation. <br/><br/>The Mango Pudding was also a beautiful dish with mango & lychee flavours which are some of my favourites. A very tropical dessert in the middle of winter was a nice mini holiday. <br/><br/>Desserts by Night is a great addition to Springvale as a dedicated dessert cafe. Strong attention to detail in the plating of all the dishes, it’s definitely one to check out if you’re in the area. Thanks so much for having us. <br/><br/>

Desserts By Night have brought the dessert scene to Springvale, and it’s definitely been an impressive new addition. They are quite well known for their theatrical desserts, which have a mix of Asian and French influence. <br/><br/>We tried a variety of desserts among us, including the Pina Colada, Red Velvet Waffles, Warm Coconut Sago Pudding, Pavlova, and the Strawberry & Nutella Crepes. For drinks, we had the Taro, Matcha, and Genmaicha Lattes.<br/><br/>My favourite desserts were the Pina Colada and the Sago Pudding. I love desserts with fruity, tropical flavours, and these definitely hit the spot. The Pina Colada was stunning, and it was very light, fruity and tart from the pineapple. The Sago Pudding was mildly sweet and a very simple but delicious dessert.<br/><br/>My next favourite has to be the crepes. I loved how thin the crepes were and the combination of Nutella and strawberry is always heavenly.<br/><br/>The waffles were huge and very thick. It was quite sweet and decadent, and perfect if you’re a red velvet fan! I would’ve liked if there was more sauce or ice cream to balance out the waffles.<br/><br/>The pavlova was a very cute and delicate dessert. I love how airy the pavlova was and the combination of fresh fruit which added a nice tartness to the dish. <br/><br/>The Taro latte was delicious and the taro flavour was very prominent. The matcha latte was also very good too. The genmaicha was amazing with a nice roasty fragrance.<br/><br/>Overall, I really enjoyed the dessert experience at Desserts By Night, and I would definitely come back again!

3.5*<br/>Nice place for dessert in springy. I’ve been here a few times and it’s either a hit or miss for me. I think I prefer the desserts that are pre made and sold individually. On a previous experience, I found the frozen chocolate souffle too decadent and couldnt finish it as it got too sickening, and the creme caramel milkshake was too sweet. However, I’ve also had some nice cakes. They’ve expanded their menu and I wouldnt mind trying their newer creations. <br/>

Desserts By Night - good enough to become the logo for all of Springvale! What an incredibly inventive dessert store, where everything is served with lots of smiles, and love is put into each dessert.<br/><br/>Right off the bat - something that sets this dessert store apart is the word HALAL on their dessert menu. Along with other dietary requirements such as GF, VG, DF. Perfect for people (myself included) who might be hard pressed to pick a dessert that suits their needs!<br/><br/>My friends and I ordered a couple of different desserts and warm drinks, including Red Velvet Waffles, Warm Sago Tapioca Pearl Pudding, Pina Colada Dessert, and Strawberry Chocolate Crepes!<br/><br/>My absolute favorite was the Sago Pudding, honestly it was like an antidote to the terrible stormy weather of the day, coconut milk, coconut jelly, shaved coconut flakes, and fresh mango & lychee all mixed in with some tapioca pearls tasted like a warm hug would feel!<br/><br/>The Crepes were bursting with some delicious strawberries, and is perfectly mixed with Chocolate sauce on the plate! If you're more of a red velvet fan (like I am), definitely try the crunchy waffles here served up with the perfect Chocolate sauce to pour on! Can't get enough!<br/><br/>And finally, the increasingly delicious, warm drinks served with the desserts - the Taro Latte and Roasted Rice Matcha are among the best I've tasted. <br/><br/>Can't wait to go back for another Sago Tapioca Pearl Pudding!<br/><br/>

⭐️4.5 stars ⭐️ <br/><br/>On a bustling Friday night we were lucky to get a table at Desserts by Night! The ambiance was pretty high with a constant queue. The menu is one of variety and uniqueness and let’s say there are SO MANY dessert options that choosing was so difficult. <br/><br/>What we ordered: <br/>Strawberry and Chocolate Pana Cotta <br/>Creme Brûlée <br/>Chocolate and Raspberry slice<br/><br/>The creme brûlée was 4.5/5 but lacked the finer quality to make it the best you’ve ever had. The Pana Cotta was delicious in flavour but the texture itself was a little on the thick side. This just meant I got full quicker and therefore struggled to finish the dish. The chocolate and Raspberry slice was delicious. Rich in flavour accompanied by a beautiful passionfruit sorbet and raspberry coulis. <br/><br/>Our motto: work by day, dessert by night!

Desserts by night, in the afternoon.&amp;nbsp;<br/><br/>Located in Springvale, an area with a strong Vietnamese and Chinese community - Desserts by Night knows its audience. I came here as a guest of an invited guest.<br/><br/>We shared two desserts and had a drink each. The pinata dessert (which is a special) is lots of fun and the flavours were well balanced mixing coconut with passionfruit and berries. My friend had the mango pudding dessert which is very asian influenced with contemporary food styling<br/><br/>Some cute cakes in the cabinet. Technically this place is tops and they are showing off all the things they know what to do. If you are looking for desserts, you wont be disappointed here - you should find something here to your liking.

Desserts by Night is such a high quality dessert bar that it’s almost strange that it lives in Springvale, but I suppose the suburbs deserve good food too! We were lucky enough to try a range of their beautiful and inventive desserts including:<br/><br/>🍓 Strawberry & Nutella Crepes ($15) with Chantilly cream, fudge sauce and strawberry ice cream <br/>🥥 Warm Coconut Sago Pudding ($14) with fresh mango, lychee, pearls, coconut jelly, coconut ice cream<br/>🍫 Red Velvet Waffle ($15) with fresh berries, Oreo pieces, fudge sauce, Persian fairy floss, raspberry coulis, cheesecake, Chantilly cream and cream cheese ice cream<br/>🍍 Pina Colada ($15) with coconut cheesecake, vanilla crumble, coconut, macerated pineapple, white chocolate, pineapple & Malibu sorbet<br/>🥚 Pavlova ($14) with fresh berries, meringue powder, Chantilly cream, passionfruit, mango coulis, mango sorbet <br/><br/>My favourites were the Sago Pudding which was so comforting and had the perfect flavours and textures to remind me of sitting somewhere in SE Asia and the Pina Colada which was stunningly beautiful and had such sophisticated textures and flavours that it would easily fit in in any high end Asian fusion restaurant. <br/><br/>At around $15 each I think the desserts are all brilliant value and they serve delicious coffee and flavoured lattes too including delicious taro and matcha lattes, and a rare genmaicha matcha latte which had a wonderfully roasted flavour. A fantastic place to come before or after dinner and enjoy a top notch dessert!<br/><br/>
Honest Food Reviews
One of the best dessert spots in Melbourne! While Desserts by Night is not the cheapest, it is still great value when you take into consideration its opening hours (TIL MIDNIGHT DAILY), fabulous presentation and high quality ingredients.<br/><br/>On this occasion I ordered the Strawberry & Nutella Crepes ($15), which combined cream, soft crepes, rich fudge sauce and home made strawberry ice cream. The crepes and ice cream were a heavenly combination that melted in my mouth, complemented by the fudge which was not overly sweet.<br/><br/>There is plenty of seating inside and the interior is attractive. Easy parking on Springvale Rd or at Woolworths. Delicious, Instagramable desserts open until late means I keep coming back!

Went yesterday night to try out desserts here. Loved it. Pricey but tasty. Tried the chef special and the mango pud. Yummm. The chef’s special came with a chocolate ball hanging over the dessert which you had to crack and all this coconutty stuff drops down gorgeously . Fun and innovative I thought. Will visit again.

Desserts by Night is such a hidden gem for Springvale! The dessert bar lives up to its name, is open late and serves sweet treats worthy of MasterChef! The best part is these inventive and creative edible art tastes as good as it looks!
Nina Lichtenstein
Both desserts we had were wonderful. Creamy Crème Brûlée was just the right texture. The Coconut dessert was not overly sweet and a real delight to have.<br/>The bathroom could be cleaner tho. Music was a bit too loud. Hope they can make these small changes.
Ariannejoisalvador
Amazing desserts, and affordable price. The staff are always friendly and waiting time is pretty decent. Most desserts, are amazing! Mango one was the best
Lily Tang
Really cute place and a nice change especially amongst the heap of asian restaurants in springvale. I like the variety and personally my favourite is the sticky date pudding. I’ve tried the Creme brûlée and the waffles and they’re always really good. Quite pricy but well worth it

We were craving for desserts and decided to try Desserts by Night in Springdale - below was our experience!<br/><br/>Strawberry Parfait Sphere - served with fresh strawberries, strawberry gel, vanilla crumble, mascarpone cream and white chocolate croutons! This was my favorite of the day as all the elements melted into my mouth! For someone who doesn’t fancy strawberry as much as chocolate, I actually enjoyed this! The freshness of the strawberries, the softness of the croutons and that sphere was just incredible!<br/><br/>Warm Coconut Sago Pudding - served with fresh mango, lychee pearls, coconut jelly and coconut ice cream! This dessert was pretty good with the sweetness of the sago and the freshness of the coconut flavors made it work pretty well! The mango and lychee were great additions for the flavoring!<br/><br/>Desserts by Night have so much to offer and we can’t wait to try the rest of their desserts!
Chocolover
not bad desserts, good presentation but some not very fresh. been in few times because there is not much option around the area but overall its good, service is bit average at times but depends on time of the day. expected better hot chocolate than powder stuff from a dessert bar

This dessert cafe in Springvale is such a hidden gem! Been here a couple of times and honestly love every dish we had. They also make one of the best matcha and taro lattes too! Highly recommend this place if you haven’t been, they’re open everyday till late which is a bonus. All their desserts are HALAL too which i didn’t know till i was told by the owner.<br/><br/>Must try: coconut sago pudding, chocolate dome, matcha waffles, piña colada, berry cheesecake, pinata. Everything actually as it was so amazing !
Cindy
Really good looking desserts on display but they need to do table service as it gets so busy in the evenings that they are always understaffed, so there’s never any proper service at the counter. I had the red velvet waffles and they weren’t anything special. Keen to try the other desserts on offer though
Kelly Whitaker
Staff member very quietly spoken but polite and helpful. Almost apologetic that dishes were not available however we did arrive not long after opening time and many ingredients were being made. At least it indicates the freshness of their products. Had some hot wedges and drinks whilst we waited for the Sticky Date pudding to come fresh out of the oven. On arrival it glistened and smelt beautiful. As expected both desserts presented to impress.

It was an empty arvo on that public holiday when I’ve tried this decent dessert place. The Piñata was cool and instagrammable but not only that- it was also good. Chocolate brownie was too damn good but it was too much to finish. The Iced Latte is a perfect combination with this very rich and sweet desserts. 😋

A spacious desserts den in the midst of all the Asian restaurants in Springvale, easy to miss if you've never been but will forever stay in your hearts once you've tried their refreshing, multi-texture, the right amount of sweet and richness and never ending dessert options. We enjoyed the pinata and brownies although it can be a bit too much eating them alone, so I'd recommend to bring your mates along to have the full experience!

I cant believe this place isn't as popular as it should be!!!! A wide array of artistically presented desserts at a reasonable price. They were such a treat for the eyes. My husband ordered the pina colada which was first class and a perfect marriage of different textures of sweet things. It was refreshing at the same time with the tangy pineapple notes. The red velvet waffle was good but the chocolate sauce felt a bit cheap.

Dessert by night is one of those places you gotta try if you happen to be in Springvale. We went through the menu and we couldn't choose because most of the dishes are just too tempting. The had the pinata, which is on their special menu. It is such a fun concept to be able to smash the white chocolate ball on top of your delicious dessert. We also had the matcha tiramisu, which is my personal favourite. The mango pudding is also another one we had and we absolutely love.

3.5<br/>Came here tonight with a few friends the desserts came out swiftly and the overall desserts were phenomenal and something out of this world. however I wasn’t impressed how the waiter made us move tables I don’t understand and it was quite rude of them, also when the lady was serving, she didn’t serve with a smile she looked quite miserable. With Impressions like this I certainly don’t forget. Everything is quite reasonably priced, the art and the effort that goes into these dishes is just impressive as something you don’t see often. Service could improve a bit.

#DESSERTS<br/><br/>Desserts by night in Springvale is truly a great experience for all of you with a sweet tooth out there. The desserts are magnificent, the waffles I ordered were brought out extremely quickly! They were not to sweet to be overpowering which was great and the strawberries and blueberries added a nice touch to the dish. Only one downside was the price, for what it is I definitely do feel as if it's a bit pricey but aside from that the rest is impeccable! 10/10 highly recommended!

If you’re a dessert fan and ever in Springvale one day then it’s worth checking out Desserts by Night to satisfy your sweet tooths! Davin and I were in the area for dinner with Hello. Imnikki and partner when we decided to check out this newish place to see what it was all about. We learnt that it also had a sister branches at other locations.
Hello. Imnikki
What comes after dinner? Desserts of course! After doing a quick search for dessert joints in Springvale, I discovered Desserts By Night. It was only until we sat down and perused the menu that I remembered that I have been to Desserts By Night before, but it was their sister branch at Maribyrnong.<br/><br/>As we had a very filling meal beforehand, we decided to order desserts to share. The Helen, which was an adorable dessert shaped in a pear, was pretty and dainty. The outer layer was made of white chocolate, and inside were tiny chunks of poached pear, and cream. A bit subtle in flavour, and would suit those who prefer a lighter dessert.<br/><br/>The mango pudding was reminiscent of those served at yum cha, but better - smooth, silky and tasted of fresh mangoes. The mango sorbet that accompanied this was refreshing and very tasty.<br/><br/>The Piñata was a sight to behold. A white chocolate sphere hung above the dessert, and you crack it open with a spoon, causing coconut flakes and feuilletine flakes scattered onto the dessert. The coconut cheesecake was a less dense version of a cheesecake, but big on coconutty taste. Paired with the pineapple and passion fruit sorbert, it was a perfect summery dessert. The water drop jelly was tasteless, and was for aesthetic purposes only.<br/><br/>With its inviting and relaxing vibe, I'm keen to return to try out the rest of the menu. Another dessert session perhaps, One Piece Left?

So good that this place is open till late! Customer service was really good, and desserts came out quickly. Was a bit too sweet for my taste, but really refreshing! Yum!

These desserts make money moves. I wish you could see how my creme caramel was twerking it with the fresh orange slices 😂. My fav dish from desserts by night Springvale had to be the warm sago coconut pudding 🤤!

Went here for the first time after knowing about it for a while..we ordered the mango crepes and red velvet waffles (thankfully we did)<br/>The food exceeded expectations !They tastes as good as they look.<br/>But it was a bit pricey for desserts but I guess it’s worth it for a treat once in a while

Desserts by Night opens till quite late. They served various eye pleasing Instaworthy desserts and tastes great too. Spacious food and plenty of tables designed for customers to hangout and perfect spot for us for catching up with friends till late. Oh and they also have Taro Latte ($ 3.40) – plus point for me!
Alicia
I really liked this place. <br/>The food came out quick, and it all tasted great. There’s such a good range of things to choose from too. A nice spot in Springvale. <br/>No complaints.<br/> <br/><br/>Edit: I came here on a Saturday night at around 9pm and had to wait almost an hour for my food to come. I'd definitely suggest coming here when it is not busy (day time on weekdays or weekends) rather than coming in the evening. I don't think the food is worth the 1 hour wait.

After a big dinner, we stumbled across this hidden gem of a dessert place and we had to come in and try their desserts before we end the night. We ordered one plate of the special seasonal mango crepes and we were not disappointed. The crepes were filled with lots chantilly cream, chopped up pieces of mango and on the side, a scoop of mango sorbet. Definitely recommend for a dessert date night!

A hidden gem on Springvale road, only a short walk from the train station, Desserts by Night is serving up French and Asian inspired desserts from midday to midnight every single day! The spacious interior is a popular spot with the late night crowd seeking a sweet treat and great coffee in a relaxed space while catching up with friends.<br/><br/>The menu caters for their Halal customers, and most items are either Gluten free or have a GF option. They have a good range of drinks including great coffee (Veneziano is the brew of choice) T2 teas and smoothies, plus you can treat yourself to either a green matcha or pretty purple taro latte. <br/><br/>The Chef has designed a solid menu of delicious options with something for everyone.  All their desserts are made onsite, including their ice creams and sorbets which use fresh seasonal ingredients to ensure they are high quality and packed full of flavour. <br/><br/>We found the service to be quick and friendly, with the owner being present at the front of house and making sure no one was left waiting when they arrived. All of their desserts are priced between $13-16, which we felt was fantastic value for money, plus they offer a couple of savory dishes just in case you don’t want to eat dessert on an empty stomach!<br/><br/>We tried 5 different desserts and my two faves were:<br/>Lemon & lime tart – meringue, lime crisps, white chocolate ganache, vanilla crumble, coconut ice cream ; and<br/><br/>Caramel & chocolate dome – fresh berries, crystallised walnuts, raspberry brownie, raspberry coulis, warm salted caramel sauce, salted caramel ice cream <br/>You pour the jug of warm sauce over the dome and watch it melt away to reveal a light raspberry and chocolate brownie topped with a scoop of ice cream. The salted caramel, chocolate and ice cream meld together to form a glorious gooey, sweet shiny sticky mess that tastes amazing with the brownie and is punctuated perfectly by the fresh raspberries. <br/><br/>We loved the range of options, the presentation and execution of everything we tried. We were also impressed with the standard of the coffee, which can sometimes let dessert restaurants down. We also love that their desserts, ice creams and sorbets are made onsite using top quality, fresh seasonal ingredients. <br/><br/>Desserts by Night brings an elevated level of dining to the local area and we highly recommend it if you’re seeking to satisfy your sweet tooth and make a night of it.

Thanks for the desserts!<br/><br/>Ordered peach panacotta and chocolate brownie.<br/><br/>I feel that this dessert place brings a positive step for Springvale in upgrading the night life to that of the level of other Melbourne south east suburbs such as Glen Waverley and Carnegie. There is still along way to go to match these suburbs and I only wish that this eatery was located on the main shopping street. But essentially hip, stylish and instagramable desserts that are quite unique. The brownie was classic, smooth chocolate with melty chocolate sauce and the panacotta was as wobbly and decadent as you would expect. Will be back to try their large menu and support places like these!
Big Belly Full
Whether you’re a chocoholic or a fruity sort of person, there is a wide selection of desserts that you can order here. From mango pudding and panna cotta to waffles and lemon lime tarts, there’s something to offer anyone. Staff are attentive and friendly. If you’re looking for a place to hang out after dinner with your mates, this is the place - the cafe closes at 12am!

Wow this dessert place is quite extraordinary! Its open to late and it was a hard to choose from dessert menu! All the desserts are well combined with flavours. Went with the dome and wasn't disappointed I'll be back to try more and more 😋
Little Picky Very Hungry
Finally made it to this place after work, I love that there is finally a late night dessert place that opens till late night in the south eastern suburbs 😋💖<br/>. <br/>We ordered the Crème Brûlée ($14) 🍮 with fresh berries, vanilla crumble & vanilla bean ice cream. It wasn’t the best crème brûlée I had, that caramelised top could be more crispy. inside was creamy and smooth. I love my LEMON & LIME TART ($14) 🍋 A good crust with a tangy and beautiful lemon curd, with that toasted meringue spread created a truly unique taste sensation. Oh! and that delightful coconut ice cream 🥥🍦.<br/>.<br/>If this place opens in CBD, I am sure it will be very popular. Thank you for satisfying my late-night sweet tooth, I will come back to try out different things🐽

I actually worked here one time, so perhaps my opinion is biased, but I could care less. The atmosphere is great, the people I worked with are super nice, and it's just one of the best places to spend your night in Springvale. If you have a sweet tooth then DBN will either be paradise or your death bed. Amazing choice of desserts, shakes, drinks and everything that sugar can contribute to. Come here and get your sweet fix. If you see Jack the owner, tell him Wisnu said "yep yep".
Munching With Mel
We came to this late night hang out to satisfy our cravings. We ordered the lemon meringue and tart which was such a good combination, with the base being crumbly and the lemon tart so sweet yet tangy. The icecream, crumbs, marshmallow spread and meringue together was an amazing exposure of flavour. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will come back.

4.5 stars is my preferred rating. <br/>Really the kind of place that you'd expect to find in the CBD and definitely not a suburb like Springvale. <br/>It's certainly pricy and that's really the main reason why my rating isn't even higher. That said, the desserts go a great job of justifying their price tags.<br/>Firstly, the desserts look just as good as they do on the menu. More importantly, they taste just as good too. I was worried that my chocolate caramel dome would be too sweet but this was well counterbalanced by the other elements such as the strawberries. <br/>Service is good and the restaurant is much more spacious and clean than the typical Springvale building.

🌸🍃 SWEET PEOPLE AND SWEET DESSERTS 🍃🌸 <br/>.<br/>.<br/>🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆: what can I say? This place blew me away.. well not physically 🤣 I was super impressed with the quality of desserts @dessertsbynightspringvale 🤗 I felt like I was on Masterchef trying all these beautiful creations, and felt like these were too pretty to eat! 😍 to be frank, I have desserts sparingly and minimally, however I kept digging that spoon back in at every dish! 😅 the lemon and lime tart, had the best coconut ice cream I’ve ever tried, IT HAD COCONUT FLESH! That was so amazing, the tart itself had perfect pastry, an amazing lime tang flavour with a lightly sweet meringue that surrounds 🍋 the sphere, wow, they sure know how to hero strawberry in this dish, from the strawberry yoghurt ice cream, to the fresh strawbs to the ‘surprise’ centre when you crack the sphere! They use ‘Ruby Chocolate’ which compliments the dish really well, it has an intense fruitiness and fresh flavour, and actually not available at many cafes! 🍓 the tiramisu, I’m a huge matcha fan and this dessert cured my cravings, I loved the house-made matcha ice cream, this had a very beautiful matcha taste, the matcha crouton gave the dish a nice crunch and the sauce for delicious 🌱 the joesphine really amazed me, the detail of this dessert is so spectacular. It is a sweet and tangy strawberry mousse with a buttery cookie base, there is also a layer of raspberry purée which was so fresh! There were so many elements to this cake and I could see if was made with lots of precision and care 💕 the genmaicha was my favourite of the two lattes as you know I’m a huge fan for anything matcha, but the taro was still a great choice 🍵 and there are loads of open space and so many selections for seating, the counter, booths and tables! 😃 the staff are very attentive and friendly, and do a great job making your visit a very pleasant one 🙌<br/>.<br/>.<br/>📍 ⓓⓔⓢⓢⓔⓡⓣⓢ ⓑⓨ ⓝⓘⓖⓗⓣ -⃝ ⓢⓟⓡⓘⓝⓖⓥⓐⓛⓔ<br/>.<br/>🍋 lemon & lime tart<br/>🍓 strawberry parfait sphere<br/>🌱 matcha tiramisu 🍮 joesphine<br/>🍵 genmaicha + taro latte<br/>.<br/>.<br/>Thank you to Jack & Jill for your brilliant hospitality, care and beautiful amazing creations! Gotta swing by again! 💕

| Springvale | Desserts By Night | Now this post is a treat! There is two stores, one located and springvale and another in Edgewater. Located just 5 min from Springvale train station. I am so happy I came here as I will be posting the reviews below. The place is quite spacious and relaxing, and was taken cared off by talented dessert maker Jack.<br/>.<br/>.<br/>🍓🍰 Strawberry Parfait Sphere - A signature dish, with a surprise center which simply needed to be cracked in. It is beautifully presented with strawberries, gel, vanilla crumble, meringue, white choc and croutons and has a lovely sweet and tangy elements. Its perfect in sweetness. A dish to be discovered only at Desserts By Night Springvale ❣️<br/>.<br/>🍋🍰 Lemon & Lime Tart - This was one of my most favourite dish. It simply tapped on all of my taste senses to another level in a great way. It has nice toasted meringue spread, tangy lime crisp, with beautiful white Ganache, Vanilla crumble and fantastic a Coconut ice cream! After finishing this plate, I simply need to have seconds of this sweet and tangy delight!<br/>.<br/>💜☕️ Taro Latte - Colour is lovely, it has a nice subtle Taro taste. Froth was on point and a great warm drink for cold weathers.<br/>.<br/>Thank you ⭐️🙌@dessertsbynightspringvale, Jack and Jill for the lovely food 💕

I ordered the sago pudding which was not what i expected. Unfortunately there were coconut chunks with parts of the inner shell still attached which made it really unenjoyable to eat. The lychees were stale and some sago beads were not cooked. Maybe other desserts in the menu are better. Quite disappointed as this place was pretty pricey.

Please be more careful when serving the dessert. I just ate it 10 minutes ago. It was in cream brulee (ice cream). Wasn't expect this because the shop was always carefully make and serve the dessert.

Great place to eat dessert. Good quality. Friendly staff. Could upgrade ambience and Eftpos would be a cherry on the cake. Will definitely go back for another round.

Came here after dessert in Springvale because we were craving something sweet.<br/><br/>Cute cosy ambience with booths for groups of 4-6. You head straight in, take a seat and then order at the front.<br/><br/>Service is lovely, staff are nice. Took awhile to request water for the table but other than that.<br/><br/>Desserts: <br/>We ordered the berry cheesecake - it was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. It has the perfect amount of cheesecake to berry ratio (yes it’s a thing!)<br/><br/>They also had some cute desserts in the window like a pear dessert (similar to the KOI and Messina desserts you would see).<br/><br/>Verdict: I would recommend you come try a dessert if you’re in the area. They make it on the spot to satisfy your cravings.<br/><br/>

Cute little asian-style dessert place that have some fabulous looking sweets! I came here for the creme brûlée because creme brûlée is my favourite thing in the world. It was really nice, although the top could have been a tad more crispy. Really quick service! Will be back to try more pretty desserts ☺️

❤️: Dessert and drinks are quite nice. I like how the menu comes with pictures, that is what you get, no misleading at all. I especially love creme brulee here, it is full of flavour since you also get berry to balance with the sweetness of the creme. <br/><br/>💔: A bit overpriced for the area. $7.5 for an iced matcha latte?! (Even more expensive than Starbucks!!)

Sweet dreams are made of these... as Dessert by Night opens in Springvale, I was eager to visit them as I've been to the original restaurant in Maribyrnong and was excited to see another step to growing the nightlife within the area. Dessert by Night take care and consideration to their dishes; all are well plated, well executed and always brings out a smile. The balance of flavours from citrus to chocolates, the mix of textures from creamy to a crunch and the plating of colours and form are what delights customers with both a visual and taste experience that makes me want to return.

Nom nom nom. Springvale is really starting to expand on its repertoire of cuisines and Desserts by night is a great place to end a cold chilly night with friends!<br/><br/>Decor is bright, open and simple; but it is a bit “been-there, done-that”, but at least it doesn’t detract from the gorgeous desserts!<br/><br/>My friends and I share the lemon tart, mango sago pudding and the pavlova and were all delicious and beautifully presented. Can’t wait to come back and try the freshly made waffles because they smelt amazing!

Good ambiance, good service and waffle was also good however fruits weren’t very fresh tho, I saw some part of strawberry got bruised and blueberry kinda soggy.

Will never tire of this place! The desserts aren't overly sweet, which is good if you're bringing friends who aren't typically dessert lovers. I love the convenience of having a dessert parlour that opens until midnight (all those night time calories RIP). There are also some yummy cafe-style drink options available if you aren't in the mood for pure dessert.<br/><br/>My only cons are that they are cash only (don't forget to withdraw before you visit!) and some of the staff members are inadvertently a little rude.<br/><br/>This was my third visit, and most definitely won't be my last :)

Fell inlove with this place the first time I visited it 2 nights ago. Ordered crepes and matcha latte and I thought it was heaven in my mouth! Presentation of the food was very good too. I’ll definitely be back again to try more desserts at this place very soon 😊

Desserts by Night (DBN) Springvale is a must visit! Continue reading to find out why!<br/><br/>Desserts<br/>🔹️ Caramel and Chocolate Dome- YUM! PERFECTLY sweet and chocolatey. The fruits and brownie inside the dome just add to the perfection of this dish! Really enjoyed I!<br/><br/>🔹️Creme Brule- isn't generally my go to dessert but I really loved the one at DBN. Be sure to try it!<br/><br/>🔹️Chocolate Fudge Brownie- they have MASTERED that brownie like nothing else. So yummy! If I could, I would go back every day just for those! The chocolate sauce was really nice too! The dish was set up well and presented in an appealing manner. Such delicious desserts here! Popped into dessert by night after dinner in Springvale and it definitely didn’t disappoint. It was a bit awkward to begin with cause no one came and sat us down and being a Friday night the desserts did take a little while to come out. However the desserts were just delicious! <br/>We go the pina colada, strawberry parfait, mango pudding and warm sago pudding! <br/>The sorbet in the pina colada was just so wonderful! <br/>Personally the strawberry parfait was a little bit too sweet but absolutely loved the other desserts!
Justin Lim
Nice place! I love the looking of all the desserts here, cute and nice looking! Service is good and better if comparing to other stores at Springvale! Sometimes it may takes abit long to wait but you wont be disappointed! We usually have to drive abit far for deserts but not easily find 1 near house! 👏🏻
Anna
Staff are lovely & the service is fast. Food is presented with care & looks exactly as it is pictured in the menu. Definitely one of the better dessert restaurants I have visited !
Ha
the prices are not cheap..but it's ok. the cakes are ok.. characterless...I may not revisit.. service was good... interior is so simple...they imitate cedric grolet's cake...

This is the place to go when you are just craving something sweet. The quick service and large number of seats means that you'll have a fix for your sweet tooth in next to no time. The desserts were tasty but nothing mind-blowing so don't set your expectations too high.
