Review Street Hot Pot - Springvale

Highly recommended! Great selection of soups, lots of fresh food to choose from and All you Can eat for a low cost. It was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. Will definitely be coming again, this is a hidden gem in the heart of Springvale, South East Melbourne. Cannot wait to bring the family!

You can choose what food you want on the rotator. There are some different kinds of soup flavour. I really like the appetizers in buffet table. The hot pot set is worthy and the lunch price is valued.

Kind of like sushi train but a hot pot buffet. Food was average but the price was unbeatable, dinner for only $30 per person.

Street hotpot Springvale 10/10 for me. I’ve never been disappointed when coming here. Great for dining with company or alone. I like the layout and the conveyor belt. Price is inclusive of all food and if you bring cash there are a few little freebies.

This is one of the best Hot pot places in Melbourne. There is a massive variety of ingredients you can put in to your hot pot. I would highly recommend this place if you want to try out some delicious hot pot.🤤🤤

Rip off they charge your small child $12.50 for 2 small bowls of icecream so same as 2 x $0.30 cones at mc Donalds minus the 2 cones .

Bad service $35 all you can eat veggies and noodles, barely any meat Owner is very stingy with meat. 1 plate every 10 minutes.. Please don’t give your money to these scumbags

Interesting concept but i liked it. Food was fresh and the shop very clean. I'll be back. Thank you

Good wasn’t fresh, soup wasn’t tasty, not enough variety and randomly found migoreng soup flavouring packet in soup base. People who worked there and lady owner are all rude. Never going back again

Made a booking for 10. Arrived before booking time only to find out they gave the booking away. To someone who didnt even book. Extremely poor organizing. Better off going to the glen. Thanks for the amazing experience

Service was lovely, food was fresh. Would love to see a little more variety later on when the business is more developed, other than that - super great for a local hot pot train in Springvale.

Great food but the people there were absolutely beautiful!

Loved it, the service great and the food was even better

Pleasure place to eat, good lighting, clean. They offer a range of ingredients but still very limited, the taste is not really desirable compared with the Chinese hot pot. So if you like spicy food and would like to try something real go with Chinese ones.

Street Hotpot is a nice and quiet place for a Vietnamese/fusion style rotary hotpot on a weeknight. It's reasonably priced for a fair choice of soup bases, ingredients and desserts. Its quite simple, so the big plus point here is the value for money.

I came here with about 6 friends a couple of weeks ago. The service was OK, a bit lacking. The sauce station was so basic. The variety going around on the train was so minimal. Overall was excited for this place but very disappointed and won't be returning

Not worth $35 for dinner. No variety of food... barely anything to choose from but a bunch of frozen piece of meat balls. You're way better off paying a bit more and go to a better place to eat at our even use the money to DIY.

Vietnam style hotpot, everything comes on a rotary belt and you Just pick what u like. Soup base is slightly different to chinese style hotpot, has chincken, mushy, Satay and a few others to choose from. TomYum is my personal fav. Complimentary Beef salad on arrival. Good variety of dishes to pick from. Great for people like me absolutly want to try everything and has eyes big like my stomach.

Very poor service, came once and they let someone else take our reservation. So an employee gave us 50% off voucher for our next visit and there was no expiry date. We decide to come and finally eat here for the first time and was told we cannot use the voucher anymore. They go on to proceed to say that the worker no longer works here and that we cannot use the voucher. The employee was at the time working here and under their brand name, they did not follow through with their policy and give one of the worse service every. DO NOT COME HERE

This is an all you can eat hotpot in springvale centre, dinner on weekdays for $30 pp. There’s variety of soup choices to choose from -A friend got the mushroom soup (personal favourite) and other friend got the creamy spicy soup which wasn’t too bad. I ordered the spicy soup but was abit disappointed with the flavour.

For $30 all you can eat price, each of us were provided limited one plate of seafood to begin with - 3 to 4 prawns and mussels and a crab leg. (Squid is ayce) Not very generous with this portion of seafood but for this price you don’t get many places serving seafood anyway.

Food variety was average. Sliced meat (mainly beef, don’t think there was any lamb) were thick cut and really tough! They also provided a range of sauces for customers to mix around with - pretty basic stuff though.

Watermelon, ice cream and desserts were provided but they were not closed properly, personally wasn’t too pleased with this presentation - what about food hygiene!!

Conclusion - food taste was average although ambience and music choice wasn’t too bad. Don’t think I’d come back considering the price charged for the level of freshness and choices of food provided.

The newest restaurant in town. Hearty stock with different flavours to choose from. Huge platter with a variety of food brought out to share - Including lots of fresh seafood and veggies. Self serve sauces and dessert. You can even sit by the rotary where are able to cook in your own pot and select items from the moving train.
Excellent customer service (Rare in Springvale), spacious and clean restaurant. $35 per head - All you can eat. Can't beat that!

I was abit reluctant as hot pot was not my thing. I had the tom yum soup base, which was a perfect blend of tang and spice. The store was very clean which I would imagine is difficult to maintain. They have definitely changed my opinion on hotpot restaurants

You could almost say that this is Viet style? The soup bass are not like what you’d expect... the spicy I got was just chillie hot. Couldn’t taste any other flavour ... unless my taste buds already shot from the heat haha anyway it was “tasty” ... I’ll get back to this later...

Had the $35 buffet option with plate of 2 mussels 3 prawns and crab. You also get single side of Vietnamese beef salad and abalone.. (these were good). As for the seafood... mussels were fresh and of quality. As for the prawns .... hmmmm they’re not king prawns which is ok and at least they’re not soft and mushy when u eat it. My guess it’s cheap imported frozen prawn. But heck get by. The half a crab ... it’s the kind after boiling all u need to do is suck it out.

Sauce station was well presented and stocked (viet influenced) there’s fish sauce haha ... only gripe.... no garlic or sesame paste (my fav) only the oil.

The hot pot train..... haha hey this was good!! Had very good variety of tofu, stuffed tofu, beef, balls etc.. very good range. But for what ever reason the VEGIES ARE NO WHERE TO BE SEEN!!! It’s a scarce thing. This explained as soon as a dude sat down next to me before ordering soup or anything he piled up from the train anything that was vegie.. my initial thought was ... hmmmm ok he must love his vegies and scoffed a bit cus only PRC do this kinda “kiasu” thing. But he was a white dude haha

Anyway he proved waaaaaay smarter than me... he was in the know!!! No vegie for me!!!

The “tasty” soup, I reckon was laced with at least 1 tablespoon of msg!! I kid u not! Half way through I’m thirsty like a camel more so than ever before in a hot pot. I also started getting headaches. This I only get when there is excessive amounts of msg.

Anyhooo nuff said YMMV I’ll still come back to try again. Overall it was a good experience food on the train had good variety and of quality albeit lack of vegies. Oh forgot to mention the buffet had ice cream and I think it was the 3 colour drink as well (will try next time).
Ambiance and design of this place is great. Food offering is nothing special and quite cheap compared to many other buffets of this type and at this price. You only get a small plate of seafood with no top up, normally at this price you can go to many joints at glen and top up as you please. Dessert is just basic ice cream. Drink is coconutty drink with Jack fruit, jelly and lychee, a bit weird to start with but tastes quite unique after a few sips. Overall, not the best value for money and offering is below average , nice to try but won't be coming back anytime soon.

All you can eat hotpot in Springvale. Entree comes with a noodle roll wrapped in meat served with fish sauce dip. A variety of dishes to put into the soup base. Ordered a chicken and a mushroom soup base which was quite flavoursome. There's a variety of dishes and the soup is topped up. The staff are friendly and informative. Lighting wise, well lit and music plays softly in the background.
