Review Angkor Reach - Springvale

Enjoy crispy noodles at Angkor Reach. They noodles are so well presented, crispy and have enough sauce to have it soggy just a bit. The variety of veggies is great and service here is amazing. The noodles are slightly starchy but it's crispy.

I think i addicted food in this restaurant. Dry cambodian noodle is the best, tomyum soup or even pad thai are very so good. The bosse are very nice and friendly. Highly recommend this place for everyone👍🏻

You can't go wrong with the Cambodian food in this part of Springvale. They're all good and have their strong points depending on what you feel like. I particularly love the green papaya salad here. The prahok ktiss is delicious too.

The food is not bad, but they really need to check over their hygienic matter. The spoon and fork are a bit dirty. They need to retrain their staff, it's a restaurant not their home. Don't speak to loud about your boxing

Nice humble restaurant with tasty food

Rarely do I give a positive review to Restaurants customer service but this place was tolerable and the food matched its economy price range. I was stoically content.

This is my favourite Cambodian restaurant in springvale, the owner is really nice and welcoming and the food is fire. I always get the salted fish egg omelette, its super affordable at 12$ with steamed rice and everything on the menu is good value especially if you're on a budget/a student lol, I recommended this place to everyone.

The food was really good (love the Chicken Hainan Rice) and the restaurant gives a homely feeling. Would go there again and the price is affordable :)

I am a Cambodian and I cook even better than restaurants, so I know what I'm talking about.

Food: The food was generally very good quality for a restaurant.

Customer service: Generally very good customer service until I went there on a holiday and met an extremely rude waitress & cashier. I had to sit there for around 30 mins (no typo) until she came and simply took my order and another 15 minutes until the meal came to the table. She also took the wrong order and gave me something I did not ask for and the thing she gave me was not even on the menu! (I spoke in Cambodian, so there is no communication issue). Finally, at the end she wanted to charged me _double_ the prices in the menu (seriously) to add insult to the time I waited until I receive my order. One of the other employees saw this and walked off knowing that what she did is wrong.

I used to recommend the restaurant, but cannot at this stage due to the poor experience of customer service. It's such a shame. Perhaps if you go there at the right time, then you wouldn't need to worry about that particular employee. Generally the lady who has fair skin and coloured hair is nice. I still give it a 2.5 borderline 3 which is still quite respectable. Minus major 1 point for the shoddy service.

Crab on Fried Rice. Delicious

-----17 Oct, 2014-----

Awesome food with a home feel. We went to Angkor reach restaurant by just random as we were walking through Springvale. I always heard that Springvale was good for food but didn't know which restaurant was good.

I have to say I am very happy after our meal at Angkor reach. The Cambodian dishes were so unique it was not like what I have before. It was good quality. The owner was very friendly and the overall environment felt very homely. The price was also very cheap considering the size and quality you are getting .

Highly recommend!

Yummy food!. Went for dinner last week with some old friends. We each ordered a dish, and shared a beef salad. I had the dice beef on red rice.

I have had diced beef on rice at several restaurants so far and have found this place to serve one of the best versions. I went to a place in Box Hill and ordered the same dish and there were 10 tiny little cubes of beef, probably no larger than 2cm^3 and was quite chewy.
The beef at Angkor Reach, however, was tender, flavorsome and there was an abundance of it. And the pieces were about twice the size of the Box Hill one.

The beef salad was a massive tower on an oblong shaped plate and filled with fresh lettuce, tomato and cucumber slices, and with a generous serving of thinly sliced beef topped with chunky crushed peanuts. One word: DELICIOUS! The tangy sauce just brought the dish together and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

All in all, a great place for an affordable, delicious filling meal. The restaurant is small and cozy, with a homely feel to it, and the owner always has a great smile as she bustles from table to table.
