Service was prompt and efficient. We ordered an entree of Chicken Satay skewers which arrived quickly, they were in a swimming pool of sauce, but the chicken was tender and cooked well. For Mains we had a Sizzling Plate of Combination Beef, Chicken & Pork with In-house Phi Phi Sauce and large Seafood Fried Rice.
The mains arrived quickly and piping hot. They were generous and honest serving sizes with plenty of meat and vegetables, also good chunks of seafood in the rice. The rice was subtle in flavour but went great with the other main. The sizzling plate was tasty with a sweet spicy tang, perhaps a touch too sweet for my palate, but my wife enjoyed the sweetness, my son also enjoyed this and he is a very fussy eater.
We also met the manager Mai (hope I spelt her name correctly) and she was lovely. Would recommend this restaurant as great family value and bang for your bucks.
I love this place and will always keep on coming back. The service is a lot better than most establishments in the area. Always greeted with a smile. At the price point and with delivery on the apps, I hardly look at any other places in the area for my roast pork/duck
I have been here lots of times, the food is fresh and tasty, huge portion sizes and cheap. The staff is really friendly compared to others on the street and the decor is sweet and modernish.

Wow. The duck soup was absolutely to die for with so many flavours packed in that I didn’t know what to do with myself. My Husband has the salt and pepper fried chicken and absolutely loved it. We will come back again and again. Food comes out quick and the lady who seemed to be the manager was really nice in explaining the food to us.
Busy restaurant in St Albans. Service is friendly and food come out quickly. The barbecued meats are tasty and hot. We also had Chinese broccoli,spring rolls and hot and sour soup which were all flavoursome.

My local go to place when wanting some delicious, good quality Vietnamese food. Have tried many of the menu items and have to say nothing has disappointed so far, the only thing I would say is that it is better to dine in as its fresher and not the same when take away. Needless to say my favourites have to be these two, honey bbq pork and roast pork on rice , accompanied with Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce.. Yum🤪😍
I have been to Phi Phi twice now. The first time by accident around a month or so back however today I made the trip. Despite todays visit being slightly frustrating with service, I'll keep my rating based on the food and previous service experience because to be fair the Pho is so good, I'm already planning my next trip.
This restaurant is a gem in St Albans! But you must eat in for the full experience! We’ve tried takeaway twice and eat in twice, and we have decided eat in is best for freshness and quality!
Try the pepper beef sizzle plate, pork roast and salt & pepper squid!

Nice atmosphere quickly served. Huge choices of food from both cuisines everything tried was very tasty and well prepared and seasoned but not amazingly mind blowing. Would recommend if you were in the area especially the roasted duck egg noodles
This is our Go to place when we go back the Westside and have BBQ duck and Crispy pork cravings - the lady Manager is friendly and professional and the decor is cool and clean - prices are really good also very reasonable, I recommend it if your popping into St. Albans for Chinese/Vietnamese Food thank you phi phi
We were hesitant coming here as from the outside the restaurant looks dark and gloomy but once you step inside, despite the dim lightning the restaurnat has a nice vibe for a quiet but satisfying meal.
Orders didn't take very long either before they were brought freshly made to you. The pipis had abundant xo sauce and was perfect for drenching the Chinese donuts but price was is high for the few that you get in a serve. Alrhough a bit bland, the crispy skin chicken was perfectly cooked as well; the meat was tender with a light crisp skin.

Back to our roots in Saint Albans, we decided to visit a local and personal favourite for authentic and delicious Asian cuisine- Phi Phi. This restaurant is consistently outstanding and from the outset of our meals we were reminded why. Ordering the tomato rice with BBQ pork and spare chicken ribs, these we're surprisingly accompanied by a chicken soup, almost unheard of from any other restaurant but deeply appreciated by us.
The food was outstanding. We also opted for the soft shell crab and it was spectacular with each bite sending juices and flavour into our body. All of the meat and rice were cooked well and you could taste the love and effort put behind each meal served. The chicken was soft and juicy, the pork tender and full of flavour, and the soft shell crab oozing with flavour. To top it off the amount we paid was that of pocket change in comparison to other meals yet the quality and satisfaction is unmatched.
A truly exceptional restaurant for value, quality, taste and delight. We highly recommend Phi Phi for all of your Asian cuisine needs.

This has always been my #1 restaurant when it comes to Vietnamese/Chinese cuisine. I fell in love with Phi Phi after a friend recommended me to try their $10 Roast Duck Egg Noodle Soup. All their dishes are served with fresh ingredients which is always the reason why I choose Phi Phi over other local restaurants. Beside some certain staffs, most staffs here including the owner are always cheerful and very attentive. Their take away service is always on point, with the owner herself delivering the food sometimes. Overall I would recommend this joint to anyone that's looking for a clean, delicious with decent price Vietnamese/Chinese cuisine.
Quick easy place to go at st Albans, and as good as the other places in the area. The roast duck is awesome 😎, but the Pho beef was average for me; I had better. Quick and good service.
Group of 10 ordered 12 dishes, price is reasonable around 50pp as we ordered fair bit of seafood. Love the tofu, the crab with noodles, other dishes are okay. Highly recommend the mung bean smoothies, I can finish 2 glasses myself, lol......
amazing customer service here at phi phi, staff are attentive and welcoming from the moment you step in. phi phi differentiates itself amongst other restaurants on alfrieda street by offering Vietnamese cuisine as well as Chinese cuisine which I absolutely appreciate. sometimes I just want to order a traditional Vietnamese dish and throw in roast duck or pork in the order and its just great to have a restaurant that offers all that. this versatility does not compromise in quality for what it offers. food is fresh, they are generous with their roast meat servings which is sure to satisfy!
This is our go to restaurant when we want delicious food, close to home for the right price. The staff here know our order and fix us up with a table even when the place is packed. Love love love the roast pork, chicken ribs and broccoli in garlic sauce. We always leave with a food baby but it never stops us from taking the left overs home. Delish!
Good price for arguably big portions od food. The taste were pretty good too. I didn't really like the fact that they poured the sauces on top of the roast duck. It made it soggy, they could've separated the duck. Aside from that though, the dish was pretty good. The fried rice came in a big portion and we couldn't finish it. Thankfully they provided take away container.
Their pho is really good when I'm feeling under the weather. Decent serving size and the spring rolls are very nice. The lettuce they provide with the spring rolls has been a bit soft as of late though
Crispy roast pork is delicious here (compared to Hong Kong noodle bar, the only other place known for roasts in St. Albans) but on rice the portion is so small :( smallest I've ever had anywhere and crispy pork is always my dish of choice at any restaurant that has it. Such a shame as it really is one of the nicer ones in the area
Never felt so welcomed in an everyday restaurant like at Phi Phi. Their service is so different from other similar restaurants on the street. The roast here is to die for! A must try!
Tasty, very generous portions, flavours aren't amazing. We ordered pork spring rolls, which were good; beef in vine leaves, which were very dull - my friend makes these little babies and they are flavour packed so I was disappointed; a massive fried rice - no complaints; and water spinach w sambal which tasted like watery nothing. I love water spinach so I was again disappointed. The menu is massive and the place was packed. I suspect it is hit and miss and you just need to know what to order.

My babes and I went with her sister and her mum to Phi Phi, a Vietnamese & Chinese restaurant in the heart of St. Albans on Alfreida Street. The last time we ate there was to celebrate her sisters 21st birthday about a month ago. On that occasion, on a very chilly Tuesday night, was the first time I tried their special $22.50 all you can eat hot pot and I enjoyed it so much that I couldn't wait to try it again!
After you're seated and order the hot pot, a portable gas burner is placed in front of you along with dishes full of leafy vegetables, rice & egg noodles and raw seafood or fresh meat. My babes and her sister don't eat much red meat so most of our plates were full of seafood including Basa fish fillets, prawns, squid, oysters, fish ball halves, cut up seafood sticks and, my babes favourite, scallops. If you prefer a combination meat and seafood plate, then the scallops are substituted out for thinly sliced beef.
After a while, a preheated pot is placed on the burner with your preferred soup base. We got the mushroom soup base, which partners the seafood well, and it gets topped up regularly if you find yourself drinking more of the soup like I did.
After having around 3 stacked seafood plates between the three of us and a combination plate for me, we were stuffed! My babes and I really enjoyed the scallops and the oysters the most with the only downsides I found were the after taste of the Basa fish fillets and the poor grade of sliced beef which became chewy regardless of how long I cooked it for.
Despite not enjoying the Basa fillets or the red meat, $22.50 for all you can eat seafood hot pot is great value for money and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for unlimited seafood hot pot in St. Albans on a chilly Tuesday night.
Roast Duck and roast pork on point! Came here after trying Hong Kong down road was really bad 😷😷👎👎 but here food was fresh and tasty as hell! ✌👌👍
This is one of the best kept secrets in dining in the West. My husband and l were introduced to it some months back by some close friends and we have been back at least twice a month (sometimes 3!) but honestly the food is faultless. Lots of flavour and heaps of variety on the menu so you can't go wrong. Also try one of their smoothies (l love the avocado) absolutely delicious. They offer BYO and are also licensed and their meals are very reasonably priced. You won't be disappointed if you have a passion for Asian inspired dining.

Pleasant surprise for a quick drop by in St . Albans on an asian grocery run. Phi Phi had one of those "I'm catering for the Western palette" type set ups and I wasn't keen on trying it out had it not been for the crispy bbq pork and duck hanging from the window. Walking in, patronage was basically all asian which is usually a good guage to whether it would be good or not. Even more surprised as the waitress that served us who looked like one of the owners actually interacted with us about the weather and how cold it was. A surprise as its very few and far between ghetto asian restaurants where they speak english let alone have a conversation with you.
We ordered the Roast duck with egg noodle soup $10.0 and some extra crispy pork $2 and the same bbq mix but with rice $12.0 along with a couple of coconut juices $3.0 each which is the usual drink standard for us when it comes to places like this. Pleasantly surprised with taste which was great, best I've had down on the St. Albans strip. Pork was crisp and well seasoned which was the same for the duck too. Soup was well brewed, clear and the egg noodles fresh. Will definitely be coming back again. Till next time, this is Our Foodie Find!

We came here for Mothers Day lunch. We got a banquet for 4 people. Not only was the service amazing - there was so much food and of such high quality! We are regular customers already and every single time the owner and staff remember us and give us the best service and recommendations when asked. It's rare to see an owner so passionate about their business. We will be back again and again!

third time had banh canh crab (good but lacking mildy something i cant put my finger on) & chicken ribs dish was good to eat, piping hot. - enjoyed it.
4th time - had crispy chicken tomato rice, & i can't get enough of salt and pepper chicken ribs and shared the banana fritter. ( photo isy immaturity moment.😆

Had an amazing dinner here tonight. Came with my partner and we ordered the salty fish rice, the calamari, the water spinach with garlic, spring rolls and the duck and pork. All the food was awesome, the service was amazing and the restaurant itself was lovely :) highly recommend. I also supplied some photos :)
The place was packed so obviously a good sign. Got takeaway n it was Yummy! Got a vermicelli n a fried rice n they were both good. Too bad we were too late n they ran out of roast pork... Must be a popular place to get chinese roast.

Great place, my family have become regulars here and the restaurant has become very popular with good reason. The food is great, the place is clean and the service is lovely unlike the other restaurants on the same street. The manager is very considerate and accommodating so count yourself lucky if she takes care of you. Try the duck and jelly fish salad or some oysters here!

Came here for my sister's birthday at last minute. We decided to try Phi Phi as our usual haunt was packed and very busy. The hostess was friendly and very accomodating. She even recommended to us the s&p silken tofu and the duck...SOooo GOOD!! Advocado smoothie was heaven in a glass too. Service with a smile. Will definitely come back
Good honest tasty food and very reasonably priced. The lady owner and waiters are friendly even though this is the first we have eaten there. Thought we should try another restaurant in St. Albans. Happy with our new find.. Loved their fried rice, salt & pepper chicken ribs and avacado smoothie. We plan to go visit again soon.

Another worthwhile trip from Melton. 9 of us came to Phi Phi for my wife's 49th Birthday. We live in a nursing home and bought 5 elderly residents with us and 4 other guests. We all had a great time. The manageress was wonderful and fixed any small problems we had immediately. My wife had Crocodile with Chinese Mushrooms. She loved it. Most people loved all their meals and the $1 Fried Ice Cream topped off a great afternoon. My wife & I have been before and never have a problem here. We intend to come from Melton once a month when we can. Keep up the good work PHI PHI..

A well worth trip from Melton. My wife & I stumbled on to this great restaurant last night. We were going to another Vietnamese restaurant in the same street when as 2 physically disabled people, we became tired from walking and looked for the nearest restaurant in walking distance. We found PHI PHI. We were treated like long lost relatives although we had never been there before. Our needs we all taken care of perfectly. We ordered the Pork rice paper rolls as an entree between us. They were delightful. Then my wife ordered the Rice Vermicelli with Grilled Pork & Spring Rolls. There was so much in the bowl that she asked to take half of it home. That was no problem for the staff. I ordered the Crocodile in Sezchuan sauce with Vegetables. It came on a sizzling plate. The meat was so tender & the veggies were cooked just the way I like them. Altogether, 1 entree, 1 pork dish, 1 crocodile dish (usually VERY expensive) & 2 cans of soft drink, the bill total came to $45.00 hence to say that we will definitely be coming back with friends and have vowed to come once a month when we can afford it.
The crispy roasted pork with rice is to die for! Environment is clean, modern and inviting. They also have Eftpos available for bill total of $25 or more.
Delicious food & great service. Ate dinner at Phi Phi last Sunday. Service from My & her team was outstanding. They made us feel really relaxed & nothing was too much trouble. Standouts for me were the Coconut smoothie, Vietnamese coleslaw with chicken & chicken ribs. A lovely experience & we will be back!
