Was on a small break a few weekends ago. Stopped and grabbed a couple of pizzas for the long drive to Sydney. They hit the spot. Can’t wait to go back.

I used to think this pizza place was so shady but after my first try, i have to admit that it’s probably better than dominos and has become one of my go-to pizza shop ! Very delicious and is worth it for the pricing however I was told that they are making changes to the prices. Toppings and servings are very generous and tasty. Will probably keep ordering my pizzas from this place!

Who's a happy boy, then?

In my never-ending search for the best "corner shop" pizza, I just had to try Pizza Del Mondo as it was one of the very few in my local area that I hadn't tried. The shop itself is in a nondescript location, being in a small shopping strip, looking pretty much ordinary from the outside. As I pulled up to order my take away, I had a gut feeling that this might turn out to be yet another bitter disappointment.

I was wrong. Very wrong.

Pizza Del Mondo has probably become my new favourite, even though the pizzas are a couple of bucks dearer than some of the other local pizza shops (I am not including Domino's in this comparison because Domino's are a behemoth that caters to price. I think we can all agree that you get what you pay for and somehow Domino's pizzas tend to have a sameness about them but hey, they are cheap).

The staff are very friendly and took time out to explain some of the menu choices and help me out, seeing as the menu has around 30 or so different types of pizza. My choice for the night was 'People's Choice', which consisted of tomato sauce, cheese and ham, plus any four toppings you chose to add. Yeee-haaa! Stinky onions here I come! My customised pizza had the standard toppings, to which I added salami and double onions. I love the fact that you can create your own pizza instead of being charged a lot for adding something that is a slight deviation from a menu choice. The toppings were very generous (see attached pictures) and the base was absolutely superb - crunchy and firm, not limp and saggy. The pizza looked beautiful, nothing like a production line pizza at all.

A few quirks to be aware of though:

Cash only, no cards
Cheese is put on the top of the pizza unless you request it to be put on the bottom
The menu shows delivery prices, not pickup prices

I will definitely go back to Pizza Del Mondo when it is my turn to be the pizza-go-to guy for the weekly visit to the relos. Even though I have just finished stuffing my face, I am already planning what I am going to order next time. Yes, I am a pizza tragic.

Best pizzas. Generous toppings with Real ingredients and very reasonably priced.

Always fresh and tasty and our number 1 go to for local pizza. We used to go to another local pizza shop but found the pizzas are better, the service is great and wait times are short!
Would love to see them add pastas to thier menu!

I just ordered recently through Menulog and it actually arrived! I thought I'd try the house beef burger with chips, and I have to say... Wow! Also, got a small chicken pizza and added capsican and pineapple. Yes, pineapple :) yum!!! Food looks and taste fantastic!!! Highly recommended 🙏 Probably the best pizza place I have ever experienced. Prior to the original owner of St Albans Pizza. Food is amazing and the service is above and beyond. Highly recommend!
