Service is a bit slow, food is above average. Worth trying
A simple no frills Punjabi eatery. The menu is minimal and the quality is good which is my usual preference.
The portions are huge and served with a fat size of butter :)( once in a while this indulgence is okay) and the prices are really good. for 3 ppl it costed just 26$!!
Location is good and restaurant was full for saturday lunch.
Hands down, the best Amritsari Kulcha in Melbourne !! Great flavoursome chat and Indian food. Extremely warm and nice servers. Definitely coming again 😊😊
Best amritsari kulcha in Victoria. It’s blood good breakfast place as everything is made fresh and served same as India. Would love to have more butter on it. Must visit place if you like kulcha.
The food is good and is really priced well. Service was above average. Could be tricky to find a car spot but still plenty of parking.
We ordered Kulchas and it was yummy. One Kulcha comes with full condiments and you get charged the menu price but you if you another it cost another couple of dollars which is served y itself, worth it though. Will go back whenever I head that side.
Great food, good service. Best Amritsari kulcha in Melbourne . Lassi also very good. Not long wait for the food. Paratha also good. Worth giving a try.
One of the few best Indian restaurants in Melbourne. I am not Indian but I love the food made here! Everything is made fresh and piping hot. Service is fast as well.
We usually go there only for Amritsari Kulcha.. they are pretty much close to the real deal. Must try in Melbourne. The resident decor needs an upgrade for sure
Walked in off the street and got a table without a problem and we were able to order quickly. I asked for the entre to be brought in first but it took a bit too long. We also asked for some of our unfinished meals to be readied for takeaway and were surprised when two empty containers were placed on our table - we were expected to do it ourselves! Besides that, the food was great, the service was good and the atmosphere - besides being a little rundown - was okay.
Absolutely love the chats, kulcha and keema nan here....Very Indian, very authentic....It makes me keep coming here over and over again.....
Also love the friendly staff....
went to the food truck in werribee, this was my second time and i had a great experience...tried fish, keema naan, chicken naan, samosa chat and some sweets....everything was really nice...the owner is very nice and polite...if your are craving for indian food u should go try this :)
Surprisingly good for a takeaway place.
The curries were tasty!!!
The portion sizes were generous and had a good meat to gravy ratio.
The pilau was scattered with nuts too.
It's also well priced :)
Everything except the Roti was delicious. Ive had roti many times before and this didnt even resemble it. Hour delivery from 10kms away at 5pm order. Friendly delivery though
The service at this restaurant needs big time improvement, as the girl disappears after taking an order. And you have to go inside the kitchen sometimes to remind her that you are leaving and need to pay. I am still giving it 4.0 because of their trademark amritsari kulcha. It's the best I have eaten outside amritsar and a must try here before 5 pm.
Consistently good. There's quite a few Indian restaurants around our area but we always go back to Indioz. The food has always been good and the chef can accommodate a little adjustment to the spice when asked. The naan bread is good to eat in as it's fresh and crunchy.
TWO THUMBS UP!!!. I don't usually make reviews, but some things in the world just deserve praise!
They have only confirmed to me (yet again) that Indioz is not only the best Indian restaurant in the Western Suburbs, but THE BEST Indian Restaurant in Melbourne (you will have to trust me when i tell you that i have tried every major Indian restaurant in Melbourne). I think you would be hard pressed to find better Indian in the country.
Tonight i ordered a takeaway Veggie Manchurian, Chicken Tikka Masala, Saffron Rice and a couple garlic Naan. I am yet to be let down by these guys! The way in which the chef extracts flavour from the spices is amazing, amazing layers of flavour with a distinct "trademark" that can only be Indioz.
I have a distinct feeling that anyone who did not give these guys a thumbs up either:
a) Did it by accident
b) Doesn't understand Indian cuisine
c) Is a competitor
I challenge you to find me a better Indian restaurant anywhere in Melbourne... nope, doesn't exist.
Seriously, it is that good. Double thumbs up from me!
Try this, you will not be disappointed.
Double Thumbs Up. I have to agree with the other review, by far the best in the west!. From the garlic naan bread, to the samosa, lamb cutlet the texture, taste was simply divine. We opted for the Lamb Saag, by far one of the nicest I've had in any Indian restaurant. We finished up with the gulab jamun dessert. The waitress was friendly. Had a chance to speak with the owner, very humble and friendly. Definitely return. The only minor critique would probably be the music was little too loud to hold conversation, but no major downfall!.
I had a best butter chicken and lamb korma in australia. first time i visit with one of my indian mate and now i visit this place frequently. i simply recomend everyone just gv it a try.
No offence to the people of St Albans and surrounding suburbs, but Indioz belongs much closer to town, where it's more easily accessible to a lot more people. It's that good.
