came in for a drink on Saturday afternoon, ended up staying 8 hours. Smart clean pub, good beer and drinks selection with really friendly staff and great locals. Highly recommend visiting! Situated down the road from the main part of town, the pub itself looks warm and inviting, the interior takes you back in time with high ceilings and wonderful hospitality. We were greeted by bar staff as we walked in, they were very accommodating to us as we were wanting

We loved the pub! The beer garden was beautiful, wonderful ambience and so relaxing to chill out with friends on a sunny afternoon. The service was excellent, really friendly, efficient and helpful. I loved the chips, reminded me of the proper chipper chips from home. Will definitely visit again!!!

We came in over the weekend with a group of friends. The beer garden was a lovely spot for a group, very comfortable. Food was great, and there was a good range of beers and wines. Service was friendly. All round a great country pub!

A lovely country pub with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. I love that there’s a real fire and I can’t wait to get back there again in winter to enjoy a cosy meal. Great selection of drinks and lots on the menu for all tastes. We’ll be back.

Great meal and classic pub vibe. Had a problem with my meal.. found a bit of cling wrap. Honest mistake, could have happened anywhere. 5 stars because they handled it well and all the food was delicious.

Beautifully renovated old pub with delicious food and a fabulous selection of beer and wine. The staff are so friendly and fun. 100% recommend this venue for a meal and a few drinks!
