Review St Helens Bakery - St Helens

We ordered 3 veggie burgers today, all of them came out cold. Just the patty was warm, buns not even toasted. Totally cold. I asked the girl about it and she microwaved the burgers making them even awkward and soggy to chew. This is not the case normally here. The girl seemed frustrated from work and was also serving food and drinks rudely to the table.

Caramel slice and chocolate brownie were both AMAZING. Lots to choose from (sweet and savory). Average pricing. Friendly staff.

We came for their scallop pies but they were already sold out at 8ish!! So we had the curry seafood pie, it was good, we enjoyed it. I also ordered a flat white, but i think it is too watery for my liking.

Good customer service, priced well and good quality. The pie I had whilst definitely home made was a bit light on filling. Overall good

Great curry scallop pie. Be careful when you eat it. Must try. Lots of scallop in it but there are shells in the pie... Almost cracked my teeth....

Came for the scallop curry pie and wasn’t disappointed. Pies were a nice temperature, texture and flavour. Also good selection of baked goods, salad sandwich bar and other hot foods.

Scallop pie had 4 scallops in it and quite small. Still charged the premium price. Went to Banjos across the road for a second one and was much better.

I normally come here on my holidays for a curry chicken pie, this time is was luke warm and very dry inside. Really dissapointed, thought it might have been just an off day but the lamington had fake cream inside which was disgusting and the dripping air conditioner in the dining room put me off the entire place!! I hope the employees here cant catch any kind of disease from the unclean air conditioner! I know that these machines can carry mould and someimes legionairres!

We were lucky enough to find this shop when passing through St Helen's on a recent holiday. Everything looked delicious, and we chose a couple of sandwiches after looking at the choice of fillings, they were scrumptious and the best sandwiches ever! Plus a couple of tasty buns and great, friendly service. Check it out!!!

We were VERY disappointed with our visit to St Helens Bakery .. looking forward to a lovely warm breakfast we were excited to see scaĺlop pies there n ordered them together with a coffee each. My first bite nearly caused a heave ... the pastry was OLD the filling was COLD ... hence I pulled the pastry off n ate the scarce scallop filling!! I did put our disgust on facebook .. on our trips in Tassie n the mainland we usually favour the local bakeries because we are usually happy with the pies.. cakes ... bread etc but definitely NOT at St Helens..
