I was in the Rouse Hill store yesterday morning and ordered some vanilla slices to take away. The pastry on the slices is really burnt to the point where the burnt flavour is imparted on the custard. Love the alfresco on a sunny day. The usual Pattison fare, simple and tasty.

Elder skinny little Asian lady served me at the counter and was giving me rude attitude over coffee cup sizes and whether I want to dine in or out. Seriously, there are plenty of people who’d be happy to have your job and assuredly wouldn’t find it so difficult to put on a friendly face and smile. E
