Was a great restaurant once, absolute icon. Looks like it's gone for good. What a crying shame. Nice if the the owner honestly announced the future and took the temporary closed sign down.

Remains one of the best restaurants in Melbourne after all these years. Yes, the food is fabulous, but for once, genuinely, the waiting staff make the key difference. Professional and knowledgeable, ask them to help with food and the wine list, you really won't be sorry.
