Review Iddy Biddy - St Kilda

Irena Miljko
Was super happy they took reservations so we could get a table with the dog. Iddy Biddy is on a colourful St Kilda corner with loads of action and people watching to accompany your meal. This is a busy place that’s pumps out high volume food and drinks. We had a to wait a little while to get fed, but when they arrived, the parmas were huge and yum.

Great place to spend some chill time even on Saturday night whenever everywhere is overcrowded. The food is nice and a huge variety, especially The Parmas... all this is combined with amazing friendly staff.

Good prices, yummy food, friendly staff, chill environment. This place has it all. Iddy biddy is my place to go when I have friends over. The smashed Avo is my favorite item in the brekkie menu; and if you’re looking for lunch or dinner the pastas are soooo good (bolognese or chicken avocado👌🏿); and the parma selection is just from another world. I mean, who thinks of a Mexican version of the Aussie Parma!!! Jalapeños and everything! Ps- Come hungry because all portions here are made to fill you! Overall I give this place 5 stars for the consistency in good food, worldly cocktails, prices and location

Waiter/Bar staff seemed confused. I asked for a table for two for lunch and the barstaff asked if I wanted a Heineken? Went and ordered our lunch only for it to take an extraordinary amount of time, mine never arrived. The nachos that did arrive was at best average. It does seem like a popular destination, especially for UK ex pats. Probably give it another try just to see if it was a once off average service and meal.

Friendly staff, one of our weekend afternoon hangout spot for a pint. Heard that the parma was one of the best and we tried it out this time. 15 choices of parma to choose from, hard decision to make. Parma was great, large size, chips was awesome too. The chicken wings were tasty as well. Definitely will be back to try other flavours of the parma. Highly recommend

One of my faves, with friendly staff and a happy vibe. There's a huge menu to choose from and great live music. It was a pleasant surprise to have the hugely talented Jamie MacDowell playing tonight. Nice work Iddy Biddy.

Originally supposed to go to another restaurant, but, glad we stopped here instead. Very chilled out vibe and good atmosphere for a beer. As this is a pub scene, it’s not really somewhere you’d go for a wine or cocktail. Good selection of pub type food on the menu. Sliders were fairly tasty, definitely recommend the shredded pork over the beef. Also impressed that there was a decent amount of salmon that came with the salad. Hot wings are hot, although they aren’t american ‘frank’ sauce flavours if thats what youre after. Still quite tasty though. Would be better if they were also served with a blue cheese or ranch sauce. Staff are friendly and prompt with service. The only thing I really disliked were that people could smoke right next to the outdoor dinning tables because they were ‘technically’ outside the service area.

Fantastic and chill place to have a brunch with friends. The lunch menu was pretty good as well, I enjoyed the Buffalo wings, but didn't like the southern fried chicken at all; that had no taste.

Rarely go out for breakfast so was really looking forward to it. Found most cafes were closed so headed down towards Acland Street and been here many months and meal was ok so thought we'd try it for breakfast. Being a non egg eater I found the menu limiting, unless you wanted a bagel there were four other choices, but two were sweet and neither of the other two appealed. I ordered a long black and croissant. The long black came out in a small tea cup and was about 2/3rds full. Although disappointing I asked for hot water to top it up. My husbands flat white looked more substantial and. When the meal came out I was presented with a croissant cut in half and toasted and real jam and two sachets of butter. Unfortunately the croissant ant was so dry (and quite honestly appeared stale) the butter did not make an impact at all. The jam was nice. As my coffee was long gone I asked for some water. This never arrived but a patron nearby did got a glass of water, to her surprise! My husband, who enjoyed his breakfast of bacon and eggs asked me to fix the bill. When I went to pay I complained about the water not appearing, and the cashier's only noticeable response was to get my money as quick as she could. I also thanked the waiter for the water who replied, that's ok! He had not noticed he'd given it to someone else so I told him. So given my husband enjoyed his breakfast I give you 1 star. Stars are deducted for serving dry food, not having a range of options for non-egg eaters, poor customer service and a very sad looking cup (sorry 2/3 of a cup) of coffee. P.S. And to those who say I could order an egg dish and ask for them to hold the egg, my reply would be ... would they substitute the egg with something or reduce the standard $18.50 price tag as the star of the dish is not there?

Ate here for the steak night last Wednesday and can honestly say it was the best meal I've had in Melbourne! Started off with wings which were coated with delicious BBQ sauce and moved onto a perfectly cooked steak topped in peppercorn sauce. Would recommend this bar to anyone

After walking in and being advised to sit down I thoroughly looked through the menu and decided on the 'American' Cheeseburger with no Dijon mustard, pickles or onions. The burger which claims to be 'american' did not even come with any bacon - how traditional! When served with rations of chips it came out with only cheese and a poor excuse for a beef patty. No lettuce, tomato or relish which was highlighted on the menu. Staff were rude and did not apologise for mistakes instead responded with "Hmm that's weird." After dealing with the disrespectful manager and made to feel as if I was the problem she simply said "the kitchen fixed the problems" and was not willing to do anything apart from offer me a new burger. By this time I could not be bothered dealing with her or waiting for another meal. Myself or my friends will never be returning!

Came here on saturday with lots of specials. Had the brisket sliders which i cant fault, full of flavour, not too saucy, delicious! The kids had a ham and pineapple pizza. Perfect for two kids under 4 to share or just enough for an older child. They loved it. Coffees were nice. Tiny cup for the cappuccino but it was still a good coffee.
