Super fresh fish and the fish tacos were super yummy and spicy
We did ask for extra chicken salt and when the food arrived it had no salt at all but when we asked it was bought to our table so no big dramas
A bit pricy but not as bad as other fish and chip shops in the area
Tommy Tucker's is the perfect place if you're wanting a casual dinner on a hot summers evening or just craving good fish and chips!
I always order the Fish Tacos, they're absolutely a 5/5. The taco's are nice and soft and they put a good size piece of battered fish in each. It's very refreshing with the bits of salad in them too, although I could do with less sauce. The salmon is always cooked well and the salads compliment the fish nicely.Β
We went there tonight and our food came out really quickly. It's nice to be able to sit outside on Acland St as well.Β

The grilled fish pack is excellent. The salad was crisp, chips were crunchy and the fish was fresh.
The batter used for their fried food was also light and crispy without being too oily.
Reasonably prices and good serving sizes.
i emigrated from the UK almost 20 years ago & have never been able to find truly great fish & chips. However we ate at Tommy Tuckers yesterday and i have to say they are the best fish & chips i have tasted here in Oz. The batter was crisp, the fish moist and the chips crunchy on the outside & fluffy on the inside. The service was efficient & friendly - i totally recommend it.Β Β 10/10
came here for the first time with my friend who said this place had fantastic burgers, safe to say she was right! burgers are absolutely delicious π i ordered the veggie burger while she got the cheeseburger, i tried both and the patties are cooked so well! my veggie patty wasnβt soggy, rather crunchy on the outside and soft & tasty on the inside. beef burger too was yummy. chips from here are also great, just your average but super nice nonetheless.

Sooo goood!! Everything about the meal was great! Portion was generous, chips were perfectly cooked, fish nicely seasoned, salad was fresh and the potato cakes were the best I've ever had!!! Cheap for what you get as a meal!! I wish I lived closer so I can eat here more
One of the best, tastiest and freshest fish and chips I ever had. I had the grill fish pack with some salad and it was filling and TASTY! The salad was seasoned well along with the coleslaw and the potato cakes were also quite memorable ππ»ππ»ππ». It was one of the cheapest places to eat in St Kilda. I would definitely come back again if I had the opportunity π. π₯π
We were glad to choose this place for our breakfast to start our day!! This is an incredible fish and chip shop. It is spotless and has a lot of assortment. Truly, when individuals go to a fish and chip shop they anticipate that three things will be great: The fish, the chips, and the burger is great. They do each of the three well.
The chips are crisp tasting, crunchy, and brilliant.
The fish is battered and brunchy. It isn't excessively covered so you don't simply eat 80% hitter.
Neither of the fish or chips appears to be sleek or saturated.
The burgers are substantial, great, and new. They are very much prepared.
What more would you be able to need?
I had an experience this Sunday which I would like to share because of the kindness with which I was treated! I ordered by mistake the fish tacos and after a few minutes I realized it and I came inside again and told the chef about the mistake (which was the same one taking the order) I actually wanted a burrito. I apologized for the mistake and he chef (that had already starting to cook the tacos) gave me the change back and cooked the burrito. An excellent burrito btw!! Iβll defiantly come back! Thank you and again my apologize!
I have decided that this was the best fish and chips Iβve had in living memory. The fish was amazing - I believe it was the snapper fish of the day but not completely certain. I canβt eat fish and chips without crab sticks and those were perfect. The portion sizes are really big. I was not paid for this review but the waitress did throw in a free sauce.
ordered original pack and a dozen of fresh oyster. Nice sauces and ingredients. When we saw the ingredients in the window was thought might not that fresh, however, the food was surprisingly fresh and nice. Recommended.
Very friendly staff. The seared tuna & charged calamari is really good. The sweet potato chips is also really good. Food arrived surprisingly quickly considering the number people in the queue.

Tommy Tucker's is a groovy little diner in the heart of Acland street. They have seating inside and out and the staff are all super friendly & helpful. The menu boasts a fantastic selection of seafood and burgers, with 100% Aussie beef patties, cage free eggs, and fish from Australian and NZ waters. All your old favorites are available plus a generous offering of meal packs and burgers - including a veggie option! Plus several beautifully fresh pre-made salads.
We had the Grilled fish pack - with brown rice or chips + salad; and the Tommy Burger with egg AND cheese AND salad AND bacon!
The fish was beautifully grilled with a generous side of brown rice and salad. The burger was pretty fab: flavoursome patty, juicy but not too messy, loads of fresh salad, plus delicious cheese and bacon. The chips were perfectly crispy and not over salted. Definitely recommend this place for families and casual feeds with mates. Plus they home deliver!
The saltwater pack is a great deal. We ordered 1 pack between 2 of us and added on an extra flake, the portion is more than enough. The fishes are fresh, and it tasted decent. It's great for a quick meal.
This bar is in St Kilda and I had just finished my run. I have seen this bar a few times before but always thought that it was expensive.That was until I saw the menu on Zomato. Here they had burgers for $7.50-$10.90. Not something that I see in the hipster places places such as Grill'd which charge nearly $12 for a substandard burger (depending on which Grilld). Here they also had sides for $3. Pickled onions were $2.
DO: The Fish and Chips obviously. Fried or grilled, both are pretty good.
DON'T: Forget they also do burgers, but seafood is the stand out star.
TIP: The Tommy Tucker Saltwater pack is great value. In fact, all the packs are reasonably priced.
Popular st Kilda fish and chips shop with lots of fresh seafood to choose from. I love how they show off their seafood in the display to attract attention. Value for money, generous portion and definitely will be back.
Well that was not a plan to eat there but right from the start you enter everything seems to be freshly prepared and tailor cooked, I ordered local caught grilled fish guess itnwas heavenly delicious it took a bit of time to be prepared which I would mind waiting for. Balance seasoning along with various type of salad I chooses betroot which was great combination! Will certainly go back
If you are in hungry in St Kilda this is the place for great fish and chips. The mix seafood is incredibly healthy and delicious. The food comes very quickly but is still very nice.
Went out to St Kilda on a perfect day and the fish, chips and calamari here was perfect to match. Really good authentic food in a lovely spot .

Before even entering the restraint, the fish is in a display case on ice which rose my expectation hoping I'm going to enjoy some brilliant fresh seafood. The server was friendly and the food was amazing, the only problem I would say is their limited seating.

Beside the staff is very friendly! This store might be the busiest fish and chips in the area on the weekend. Sweet potatoes fry and the flakes is my favourite! Love it!
Great fish and chips, potato cakes and scallops. Always cooked well and not rushed. The staff working there seem a bit serious but at least this flows on to their cooking too as it's always consistent.
Hands down the best seafood I've had in Melbourne! I had the Quinoa salad with Grilled Rockling, cooked to perfection. Also, an extensive range of healthy dishes to choose from. Customer service was spot on! It will be a regular visit from me!

I went yesterday with my gf and her family and i can tell that was really nice! I really liked it, cleaned, nice and experienced stuff! This place has nothing to do with the fish and chips i used to go! I had a chargrill calamari, was fresh and juicy, my gf had a stuffed salmon and she really liked it! The chips were AMAZING! The prices were cheap

Finally a fish and chip shop in St Kilda with great burgers. New management is a welcome relief. Good old fashioned hamburger close to as good as the joint in St Kilda East.

Everything was clean and fresh. The fresh fish display looked great and the salads looked amazing!
The staff were very friendly and recommended that I have the Chargrilled Calamari with chips and salad. Wow. The chips were crispy and not oily and the calamari was great. I would definitely pay top dollar for this in a restaurant!
It wasn't too expensive, the quality is great and the service is exceptional.

We went with a big family of 2 adults 5 kids after visiting the beach and walking the esplanade and fed everyone for dinner for $15 a head - happy days ππ
On the run I tried this fish and chips restaurant last week. I tried the sesame salmon and chips with a couple of potato cakes and it was delicious. The salmon was especially tasty. The menu is extensive and prices reasonable. Overall the experience was positive.
Super yummy fish and chips in the best location! The fish was excellent although Iβm not quite sure why the grilled fish pack was so much more expensive than the battered fish pack, but it was really tasty! The chips couldβve used more salt but they were delicious and crunchy :) Love this lunch spot!
First time for us, and for sure it won't be the last. The food was yummy and the portion was just right. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The only feedback is that their beetroot salad could have been fresher. Some of the leaves were a little off. Their greek salad was on point though. Will be back to try their other meals.

Good food portions and wide range of seafood options. Quick and fresh food, avoid the other fish and chip shop on the esplanade, this is definitely the better option for sure.
Ok so I got a 'cheeseburger style burger with extra lettuce'π from here last night.. Really flashy CB, it had onions, pickles, tomato, 1thick beef patty, & dressed in 2kinds of really nice sauce, but not to the point it was soggy, (& I even took it home to eat with 30secs in the microwave), & still it stayed really nice & unsoggy, which is important to me.!!π Was also wrapped well in paper inside the box, so u can leave it wrapped as u eat it so it doesn't slide n go everywhere like some burgers if u know what I mean.!!ππ
It was def one of the best burgers I've ever had, I would 'DEFINITELY RECOMMEND' trying this place if u LOVE good designer burgers.. And they also do Fish n Chips obviously too, which I haven't tried yet..
But I have to say the burgers are abs premo,π def stop in here next time you're up for some yummy, well priced take away people.!! My new 'go to' for burger nights.!ππ Thanks very much guys.!π
