I have to say this is the best Japanese restaurant I have visited in Melbourne! Fresh and delicious sashimi, well cooked food. Peaceful eating situation will make you love this place! Kind services and friendly staffs. Highly recommend!

Fujitei is a Japanese restaurant with a focus on simple but quality Japanese cuisine. Head towards the back and sit in either the outdoor garden or the “indoor” garden. Sushi, tataki and sashimi were all fresh and flavourful but the best dish has to be their seared beef with miso paste!
Food was a little salty for my liking. I'd recommend the sashimi as it was very fresh. We didn't expect the price for a dish (high $20s for a bento set) to be that expensive but that's our fault for not checking before we came.

Amazing, traditional Japanese food. Visited there on a Friday night and it was pretty full. Would recommend booking a table before your visit.
