Comfortable feel. Only customers at 7pm Sat Night (?). Good but not delicious satay chicken and chili beef. $8 corkage. Licensed. About $25 per head.

Absolutely LOVE this place.!! They do an AMAZING Special Fried Rice, especially if you get beef strip's added to it like I always do.!! So so yummy, I'm here at least 3 times a week if not more for takeaway. And the staff there are so lovely as well. Excellent restaurant, I hope they continue to do well.. Fitzroy St needed a good Asian restaurant, & this is it. Thanks Baba, love your work.!!👏👍👌

I wanted a quick light meal just before driving to dance classes. Had a vegetable Pho soup. It was served in minutes and was light, tasty and filling. For $6.50 I doubt you'd do better. The owner, a lady, was warm and friendly.

We had a meal there the other night and really enjoyed it - Crispy Skin Chicken with rice and Mongolian Lamb, they had a really reasonable and decent house white wine too. Or I believe you can BYO. We are locals and like to support local business and the location is unbeatable. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

Went in for a cheap lunch not expecting much... but boy was I pleasantly surprised. I just had the grilled chicken with rice, and a coffee...both were top notch, and staff were extremely polite and well mannered. Excellent food, great environment and good pricing as well. Definitely recommend this place!

The place is quite quite and looks like the place is run by 1 person so the food was quite slow.

Ordered the beef with beef balls pho. Meat is over cooked and tough. The soup base is zesty but possibly from the noodles as they were quite oily.

Beautiful Vietnamese food! Definitely worth a try, we ordered a pho, fish noodle soup and a vermecelli salad and all were really tasty, good portions plus lovely customer service to top it off. I'll be back 😄

It said “open now” and it was close. I drove all the way here

Awesome vietnamese, friendly staff - super tasty pho and crab spring rolls! Ingredients all fresh which is why locals love this place. Unpretentious and great value!

I really love this place, it is very authentic. I really rate this as one of the best Pho that I have ever had. Food is great and the people that work there are also great.

Give this place a go... we were hesitant at first because it was empty inside, but so glad we dined here! The meals are fresh, quick and decent serving size. There are great drink specials and food is value for money overall. I hope BaBa Vietnamese can establish a more consistent customer base, cos St Kilda really needs a tasty no fuss Vietnamese eatery. Owner and chef were both friendly and I hope to try some other menu items soon.

Had the worst experience in Melbourne here. Terrible customer service.

Came on a Sunday (during St Kilda Festival) and took us half an hour to get our order in because the staffs were very ignorant of our table. After approximately 15 mins, we were told that there will be roughly another 30 minutes of waiting time. Although we were slightly annoyed by the fact that we weren’t told before seated, we compromised as we could appreciate it was a busy time.

30 minutes later, we were told that 4 out of 5 of our food order were “sold out” and have to order (and wait) again. Naturally, I was furious and demanded an explanation from the staff + manager. All I’ve gotten in return was that the kitchen was not prepared and there was something wrong. Nothing specific, and the manager was not in any way apologetic (or at least try to seem so).

Would definitely recommend somewhere else if you are in St Kilda. Perhaps consider the dumpling shop opposite. Cheap food and better customer service.

This is a new place and we finally tried out the other night. We are very impressed by great food (LOVED Pho & spring rolls) and lovely staff. I am so happy there is a decent Vietnamese restaurant on Fitzroy Street finally!

The staff were so friendly and attentive and the place is fitted out nicely. Great value Asian food. The sign said it was Vietnamese cuisine but seemed to be more like Chinese to us (except the Pho). I would have liked more Vietnamese meal choices.
