Review Gami Chicken St Kilda - St Kilda

As always Gami doesn't disappoint. The chicken is as succulent as ever and the sides and beer is a perfect match. The new Acland St restaurant is new and modern (very different to the City ones). My only gripe is obviously the price of the chicken... But apart from that Gami Acland is pretty flawless.

The best fried chicken I've ever eaten (so far). Plus the chip things and pickled radish to nibble were damn good too. Bit expensive though. You get a lot for the price so it balances out. A cheaper half portion for an individual would be nice. Still 5 stars.

Not as good as the Gamis in the city, in my opinion. Got the soy garlic chicken (normally my favourite) and couldn't taste soy or garlic, it was just sickly sweet. Chicken itself was nice and crunchy and moist though. But didn't really enjoy it due to it basically being drenched in sugar syrup.

My favorite Korean fried chicken place. A whole chicken, a small side salad, and a side of pickled radish for $34 that feeds at least 2. The chicken is delicious and juicy. My favorite flavour for the chicken is spicy. I'm salivating just thinking about eating it right now. Eat in or take out, it'll be just as good.

Generally Gami is not bad, good feed and service is not bad. However this place, the service is just not quite like their other stores. Many times we tried to get the attention of the server, many time that fail (mind you, it was a Saturday night and it is not busy. Not all table are filled). Food is like always but was disappointed with service. Hope they will improve soon.

It has a different vibe (more like a regular restaurant) to the Gami on King St that I grew to love.... but the food is comparable and we often get take outs and deliveries from here which'd be beautifully packed

One of the best Korean Chicken places in Melbourne. Strange feeling given all the front of house staff are European backpackers.

Fried chicken not consistent compared to its city stores. Shame it did not improve since opening. Nevertheless still better chicken then KFC.
