Autentico does Gourmet Woodfire Pizza, and we decided to do Uber Eats after a highly friend recommended it to us.
Salsiccia Friarielli and Diavola was ordered and wow!! they looked yummy.
We loved...LOVED Salsiccia Friarielli that had Italian sausage topping. We savored every bite of it.
Diavola was a bit letdown, too sour for our palate, the toppings were quite unimpressive.
Both the Pizzas were baked to perfection. Decent packaging and quick, we have no complains about the packaging.
As a St Kilda local it is so refreshing to have such an authentic intimate italian restaurant nearby. The wood fired pizzas are so tasty with only the freshest ingredients used, that is a flavour you cannot get from a bottle. The quality has been top notch every time. Diablo and Prosciutto pizzas are a favourite in our household. The desserts are delicious too. Always served with a smile. Absolutely worth checking out, it will not disappoint.
Definitely best pizza in St Kilda!! The nutella donuts are also amazing, freshly made! Also has a lovely, cozy atmosphere. I would really recomend Autentico. It has genuine, great, italian food.
This truly is one of the most romantic restaurants I have been too. Autentico in St Kilda provides a beautiful atmosphere and most importantly, some of the most delicious authentic Italian food. A lovely setting and even better food! The Antipasto platter was very generous and beautifully presented. The pizza and pasta we had were also lovely. Attentive and friendly service. Will definitely be going back!
Second to none in Italian cuisine, excellent service and really friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed all the food with a great range of food on the menu from pizza, pasta, meat dishes, salads, entree and of course dessert! Also very well catered for dietary requirements. Drinks are amazing, on a whole other level of creativity and expertise. Bartender has a very strong understanding of flavour and blends, can tailor drinks to an individuals taste which is super unique. We travel 1 hour in traffic to dine in this restaurant, highly recommend to anyone near or far!!
This new St Kilda restaurant is a great place for true authentic Italian food with real Italian owners/staff who offer actual Italian staples! The service is great with honest prices. The food is absolutely fantastic, the pizzas are to DIE for! I live 50 minutes away and now are not having pizza anywhere else ! I recommend everyone to come and try out this new establishment! It won’t disappoint!
A welcome addition to the Grey St area. An Italian restaurant run by actual Italians, newly arrived and keen to share their foodie traditions. A full menu with antipasto, pasta, carne etc as well as wood-fired pizza in the traditional Italian manner - thin crust and simple ingredients. Plus a selection of Italian wines, amaro and grappa. We were impressed by their enthusiasm as well as by the food.

I heard about it from my sister who lives nearby this place is very underrated had an amazing dinner the fresh pasta and wood fire pizza were both perfect.
I'm so glad I found this place highly recommend to anyone worth the trip you won't find better in St Kilda for sure and price is very reasonable. 11/10

When you walk through the door, you can only get a good mood. The staff welcomes you with big smiles and the atmosphere is cheerful and sunny. The owners are very kind and always friendly.
The food is wonderful! All the ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. Burrata, mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes, prosciutto di Parma, all very Italian flavors.
The pizza is cooked in a traditional wood oven and all the pastas are homemade by the talented Ilaria. If you love fish, I highly recommend the "Spaghetti allo scoglio" (good to eat and beautiful to look at!) and the "Seppia con vellutata di pomodori gialli". Do not miss the "Gnocchi con gorgonzola e noci" (my favorites!) and among the special pizzas "Burrata" is spectacular!
Autentico is one of the very few restaurants, perhaps the only one in Melbourne, where every dessert is freshly prepared: you will taste the freshest and creamiest tiramisù ever!
Best pizza I have had in Melbourne. We can also recommend the rocket salad, Tiramisu and coffee.
The owners really know their food and are lovely. We can't wait to come back for more!
I've only been here once but it won't be the last time. We ordered pizza and were impressed with it. Also ordered the rocket salad and it's awsome!
This place definitely deserves more attention.

Wow!! Best pizza in st kilda. I’ll be back and spreading the word. The bases are good. I got the Diavola with added anchovy and another with truffle cream and rocket, so good!!
Absolutely delicious. Enjoyed every mouthful like it was my last on this planet. The crust was divine, toppings generous and I inhaled my cannoli but also the bombolone was warm and lush. Highly recommend this one!👌
