Review Caffe Foro - St Leonards

Denise Kloeden
The long patient line for coffees gave a great indicator of this place in the Forum above St Leonard’s Railways Station. In search of the quintessential Avo Smash in the area, this cafe did not disappoint. Cleverly giving only one slice of bread loaded with everything and the poached egg was cooked without running egg whites. My horror. The steel cut oats was great , touch heavy on the cinnamon, but great consistency . Lattes were fine and long cold black was great.

Best place to have breakfast and lunch 🥰 The coffee is really good and the food is delicious. Best "strong soy cap" and best salads, hands down!!! It's really worthy every penny you spend there. Really recommended 😊 great staff.

Only recently got new job located at St Leonard so I plan to explore the food here. Didn't expect this little shop the gem hidden among all the various food business here. My colleague and I had the salmon and the veg burger, amazing!!! I was even very happy the little cake I had later, fresh and yummy. Their coffee is also very good! Will definitely try other burger next time!

Nice to be able to sit down at a cafe and relaxed after 107 days of Stay At Home Order. The Portuguese Tart is hugh compared to what I normally see in other shops, but still yummy nevertheless.

Had a lunch over there. Coffee was really good. Food tastes great. The only surprise is after I checked my bill, find out they have a Surcharge on dine in!!!50cent each! For a cup of water! Nice try! ☹️

Fabulous Service. We ordered a couple of salads and a coffee each. The salads were colourful, satisfying and we'd definitely order them again. My friend had the salmon salad and I had the beetroot / hummus and roasted veggie salad. The coffees were great too. Thanks for a delicious lunch!

Lovely staff, nice coffee but HOLY COW I've just bought two completely inedible muffins. Either they were stale or else originally baked in a kiln. Who knows. I would have returned them but my friend and I were on the train already. Possibly the worst muffins I have ever tried. Sooo dry and hard. One was orange and poppyseed, the other choc chip and BOTH ended up in the bin. To add insult to injury, they cost 5 dollars each! Shocking.

Good food, enjoyed a burger and milkshake, however it was the service that is left to be desired - needs attention going forward after your opening week.
