The food is absolutely amazing, and I love the predominantly vegetarian menu. The staff were all really lovely and welcoming. This is just such a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal and/or coffee.
Inside Morocco in Stepney is such a wondrous place. You are transported to Marakesh with its repeating arch like architecture, colourful lanterns and cloth and beautiful serving wear! The aromas from the kitchen are sweet and earthly all at the same time and the hospitality of the hosts is perfect
And the food! O.M.G - it is the best kind of comfort food, rich and nourishing - while the cakes ride that fine line between sweet and piquant. Not to mention the mint tea!
I love it all - cannot wait to get a group of 10 or more friends and go there on a weekend for a set menu with GF and vego options, BYO wine, delicous food and enjoy a magical night
Thank you

Highly recommend this place. Great service and lovely food & drinks. Yummy mint tea.
Took a stroll down Magill Rd yesterday and came across this wonderful shop that now also serves food and drinks. upon entering we were greeted by the owner Med Ghanmi who could not do enough to help us. The food was beautiful, my tea was piping hot and served in traditional tea set and the items for sale are so beautiful that I couldn't possibly leave without purchasing something. Love love love this place and will definitely be returning very soon.
Quick, friendly service with a fantastic ambience. Food was very good, we had breakfast items, but will need to go back in the evening. Only negative was the big wooden, throne like, chairs were a little uncomfortable. We highly recommend Inside Morocco.
Having been to Morocco, it was a delight to find an authentic Moroccan business in my home town.
On entering we were greeted by the owner Med Ghanmi, who could not do enough to help us. From the beautiful water served at the table, to the exquisite food, our hot chocolate, coffee and tea was piping hot, served in a traditional Moroccan tea set. There were six of us, the tagines were to die for and the other assorted foods were fabulous. Compliments to the chef. The items for sale are so beautiful, that you couldn't possibly leave without purchasing something.
Love the decor and the whole premises.
I booked a table at Inside Morocco for our staff Christmas lunch and it was amazing. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was so delicious, fresh and authentic. Med our host could not do enough for us, they made us feel so welcome. I would definitely recommend dropping in for Coffee and food or booking them for your event ❤️
We had a wonderful 21st birthday lunch. Staff were so accommodating, friendly and helpful. The food was devine! Would definitely recommend!
Great atmosphere, great food warm and welcoming staff. The lamb tagine is to die for!
WOW! Thankyou Med, we’ve had a great meal. The Terines were delicious and the Haloumi Salad had a superb dressing. The dips hit the spot, as we were peckish by the time we arrived at 2.00pm.
And Prince was very happy!
Yummy, Yummy brunch! Started with a super friendly welcome then fantastic coffee and the best poached eggs I've had in ages and wow that moroccan lamb sausage was so delicious. Can't wait to come back for dinner. Gorgeous homewares, rugs, fabrics and jewelry, make for such lovely decor. Highly recommended.

I can’t express how much we love to visit this place! Hands down the best Moroccan food since we have returned from Morocco! Med & Janet the owners styled our wedding and ever since we always make the effort on our visits to Adelaide to enjoy the food and company.
My husband and I have visited Morocco twice and just adore Moroccan cuisine! This place hands down is the best place we have eaten at, the most authentic to the real deal!
We fly from Melbourne purely to get our Moroccan fix!
The food is fresh and made with love. The selection is amazing and caters for everyone’s taste even if you aren’t so fond on spice!
The atmosphere is beautiful with all the imported furniture, lanterns and rugs!
As they say in morocco before your meal! Bassaha 😊
A top pick from us at #melbournecultureeats !
We will continue to fly from Melbourne for our favourite Moroccan Feed!
Had breakfast here today and it was delicious! The lamb koftas, the sauce...mmmmm! There was absolutely nothing left on my plate when I was done as I soaked up every last drop of the sauce with the bread! Filling fare at a great price- I didn't even need lunch later in the day. The owner is also very friendly and charming- had a lovely chat after the meal.
Will definitely be back!
Delicious food (OMG those tajines! And then there's the homemade cakes, crepes, local coffee, fresh juices and so much more), warm and welcoming service where nothing is too much trouble and you're treated like family, and the most beautiful Moroccan decor. At Inside Morocco you feel like you could be anywhere in the world - we're so lucky to have it on our doorstep here in Adelaide!

Have you ever travelled to Morocco? I haven’t! But it is on my agenda to do in future. This fascinating country has some of the finest flavours to offer to the world. Tajines and mint tea, two of the most famous national dishes of Morocco has influenced many modern cuisine principles and definitely helped to put north African cuisine on the world dinning map. Where do we go for Moroccan cuisine in Adelaide? I recently discovered a hidden gem, Inside Morocco on Magill Road!

Nestled amongst a popular shopping strip on Magill Road, Inside Morocco originally opened as a homewares store selling unique imported products such as ceramics, jewellery, wall hangings, mirrors and even woven baskets - all 100% handmade in Morocco. However, when customers started to ask owner Med Ghanmi why they didn’t serve food as well, it got him thinking. Since then, Inside Morocco has transformed to include an exciting breakfast and lunch café and function space to become the ultimate destination for everything Moroccan in Adelaide. On The Chopping Board (OTCB) was recently invited to check out Stepney’s newest cafe, Inside Morocco, to taste their exclusive Moroccan Experience dinner menu. All food and drinks were provided on behalf of Inside Morocco.
As I walk through the entrance of Stepney’s Inside Morocco, I feel like I have stepped into a vibrant, Mediterranean enclave, set unassumingly on Magill Road. There is something exciting to look at on every wall and in every corner. Colourful stained glass lanterns hang from the ceiling, intricate brass trays and candle light holders on the walls and exquisite carpets and plush ottomans on display like you would see at a bustling souk in Marrakech. Everything you see is available for purchase.
Pretty, so pretty! Well worth a visit for prettiness alone! This place bursts with colour and vibrancy, interesting furniture pieces and gorgeous Moroccan lights everywhere!
Upon entering we were greeted by a very passionate, caring owner, who explained to us they had only been opened a few months and really hoped we enjoyed our experience. I love owners like this, they care very much about what their customers think and they love feedback, no matter what it is, this is how you become successful in this industry!
We ordered the Tagine of the day and the haloumi rocket salad. The salad was very simple and fresh with good ingredients, crunchy pear, good haloumi, rocket and nice sweet dressing. The Tagine of the day was chicken with preserved lemon. This is a very simple tagine with no bells and whistles, good subtle flavours, fluffy couscous and delicious bread with good butter. If I was to critique just a little to turn this simple Tagine into an outstanding Tagine, I would probably add a bit more garnish to the dish like toasted almonds and maybe juzzy up the cous a bit with a bit of dried fruit and pistachios or similar, but still a good dish.
The breakfast menu looks good and we will definitely return to try this.
A great little ruby on Magill Rd, give it a try!
Such a warm and genuine welcome and hospitality! Every small detail is taken care of to ensure guests are comfortable. Bright yet cozy setting among beautiful wares for sale. A variety of little nook settings perfect for couples and larger seating options for groups. Food was amazing, I had the Moroccan soup which was delicious and full of balanced flavour - pure soul food :)
Great coffee and fantastic food in a friendly, comfortable, cool setting. Traditional Moroccan food makes for a great, tasty lunch. Beats all the cafes nearby.
Visited today and picked up a couple of small genuine Moroccan wood jewellery boxes for my daughter in the UK. Also had a wonderful lunch, the menu is as exotic, tantalizing and classy as the whole shop. Eliza is a superb chef who presents the sort of food where you want to try everything. Had the Eggsellent Hot Breakfast (with Moroccan Lamb Sausage) for lunch at 1-30pm followed by an amazing Baked French Vanilla Cheesecake. Both were out of this world. I have given this venue a top score on UrbanSpoon. You must visit!
We ate too much and regret everything! Only because the food was so good, the owner, Med, was a legend and we can't wait to go back and support this small business in the heart of Adelaide's inner east. Small, bright and quaint with Moroccan lamps hanging across the ceiling, this cafe/shop is unassuming and delightful. The shop is to the back and is a restrained collection of authentic Moroccan wares, jewellery and lighting.
The Cafe is small but ample tables fill the space. I felt quite a distance away from the wife across the table - but the space was eventually filled with spiced haloumi and chickpea salad, chicken and preserved lemon tagine, lamb and prune tagine and a serve of couscous (see photos). The wine and beer offering is minimal but the star here is the food. Rich in Moroccan spice but perfectly balanced and poised. Highly recommended for a treat for couples and small groups. We finished off with the lemon cheesecake and mint tea poured the traditional way (you'll have to go to find out). Excellent hospitality topped it all off. Vibrant authentic Moroccan in Adelaide's inner east.
The charming owners, cool ambience, the freshest ingredients, exotic but delicate spices and flavours makes this dining experience pleasuràble. I slept like a baby after dinner at this fine restaurant. Peaceful place for meet ups with friends and visitors to Adelaide. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Service was excellent.
Our table shared a Morrocan Experience and it was delicious.
Drinks list is not extensive but offers quality local wine and beer
Staff were very welcoming, it was like being in their home.
Definite try!!!!

Beautiful decor, sumptuous food, food came out quickly. The avocado toast, cakes and dipping were delicious! Loved the little details like the sesame seeds and the beautiful cutlery and dishes
Lovely ambiance, beautiful food and great service. Menu was small but all dishes we tried were excellent. My favourite was lamb tangine.
