Review Restaurant Tranquilo - Stirling

Stumbled on this gorgeous little restaurant way after lunch time on a Sunday after the Stirling markets. We were warmly welcomed in and seated straight away and looking at the menu it was an absolute hard decision what to choose. I ended up going with the beef cheek and it is honestly the best meal I've ever had. I made everyone at the table try a bite and just watched their faces fall into absolute bliss. I will definitely be back here, I honestly can not wait. Please go to Tranquilo, you'll not be disappointed.

Called in to the Tranquilo Restaurant, Stirling, Adelaide Hills, for a quick coffee and snack this morning. We sat outside in a very well appointed alfresco area. The coffee was good, the service was friendly. We noticed they advertise a special Mexican cuisine on a Monday, so will have to return and check this out.

My first visit to this restaurant, really enjoyed the atmosphere, staff were friendly and efficient and the food was fabulous, had three courses as well as coffee really couldn't fault it. Nice to see a menu that wasn't 20 pages long but still had something for everyone there was a wonderful specials food & drink board as well. Great little spot wish I lived a lot closer. Will definitely be back. 👍

I've been here a few times and they never fail to disappoint! The food is so tasty and so well presented, and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. With the music and the decor, it's a lovely atmosphere to be in. Also, the all you can eat mexican Monday/Friday is incredible, and worth going for the guacamole alone, it's so good. Definitely recommend!

Attended for Valentine's Day with a fixed menu. Unfortunately the chosen steak meal, while tender and well cooked and with potatoes, was missing greens or other enhancements. It left me feeling hungry and the experience was a bit barren. The mud cake dessert was not made in house so was a little boring and while advertised with cream, there certainly was very little of it. There was an expectation of subdued celebration of Valentine's Day, however only a red rose on the table was the only clue. The atmosphere was non existent I am sorry to say. We did produce a discount voucher from a well known company book, but it was flatly turned down by the manager with single word statements. There was no indication on the voucher or their web site about restrictions because of the fixed menu as the manager said at the time of settling the bill. To summarise, we should have attended the day after, there would have more meal options, sides would have been available, it would possibly have been cheaper and perhaps the voucher would have been honoured. My three stars are for the food.
