Have you seen them make the crepe cakes? It is labour of love for sure. Beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. A great little cafe for dessert.
I love the milk crape cakes especially earl gray flavour ♡
This cafe is located on the side streets but it’s pink wall makes it easier to find. Very instagram friendly.
The rainbow cake (vanilla flavour) went well with the cappuccino. The rainbow cake is not too sweet. The cappuccino was made well 😁
It is slightly pricey ($10) for a slice of cake. But the portion was decent. I would recommend to try.
caramel crepe cake was amazing! iced coffee and chocolate were also good but the cake does feel a bit much after a few bites so make sure to share it with friends! other than that it’s my go to cafe in strathfield!
ITS MY FAVOURITE CAFE 😍😍❤️❤️❤️
The price was a reasonable price, quality was absolutely stuns, service was fast, staff was friendly, the crepe cake was so yummy and I highly recommend🤤 XOXO Soph
took a tad bit of searching but definitely worth the walk from the train station. the location of the cafe costs one star as it’s hidden in a street further off from the main cafes and faces towards the back of some grey buildings, but the cafe itself is quite pretty. we came here for the crepe cake ($10) which looked better than it tasted, but made for an aesthetic photo. next time we’d try some of their other flavours which i think rotates. a nice place to have a conversation and enjoy the aesthetics.
Crêpe cakes were really delicious, the taste of cream and Crêpe layers were perfect, and the staffs were friendly. Tiramisu flavor tasted delicious and the rainbow one was really lovely.
A friend of mine has bookmarked this place as her next place to go but she went overseas and I decided to review on her behalf. The crepe layer cake was made by layers of crepes and layers of mascarporne cream that is infused with different flavours. There are Earl Grey, Matcha (Green tea), Black Sesame, Nutella, Caramel and even Taro (Purple Yam). Not bad and quite creative. Recommended for catching ups if you're around Strathfield area.
Serving « The Grounds » coffee, I still enjoy my longblack at JC Espresso. A lovely couple own the place and the barista (the husband) is very friendly and talk to customers, remember their names and their coffee. The girl at the counter is always welcoming customers with a great smile.
I tried only once their famous rainbow cake and I do recommend it, it was delicious. Very good place for an afternoon tea.
I love crepe cake and have been meaning to try more at different places so my friend recommended this place which recently opened up in Strathfield. It’s located in one of the side streets (behind JTB korean BBQ)! We ordered the earl grey crepe cake and I ordered a matcha latte as well. I really enjoyed the firm texture of the cake and the flavour of the tea was quite pronounced in the cake which I liked! Portion size is pretty big so I think one slice should be enough for two people ☺️ I felt like the matcha latte needed a bit more flavour to it it tasted more like milk than anything else tbh but other than that I do want to come back to try the other flavours available!
I really like their drinks and mango crepe cake. It was a large serving that I could share with my boyfriend. It was nice and I had a lot of fun catching up with my friends in this cafe. The ambience is nice and I would come back here again.
Favourite place that makes layered cakes! Variety of flavours too, my favourite would be earl grey. Quiet chill cafe and also sells coffee. Good place to hang out.
We went to JC & Co to find out what all the rave was about for crepe cakes, and we weren’t disappointed. The cafe has such a beautiful atmosphere, with pink walls, marble tables and windowed walls. Staff are friendly, greeting you as you enter, and thanking you as you leave.
We ordered two sandwiches, a rainbow crepe cake, a coffee and a tea. The sandwiches were mediocre, the salami one almost lacked flavour as the boccocini had no taste whatsoever. The ham and cheese one was alright, but overall the sandwiches could have been better. Both probably would have been much better toasted as well. The coffee and tea were nice and what we expected.
The rainbow crepe cake was the showcase of it all! Obviously being pretty, but was very delicate and flavourful! It left us wanting to come back to try the other flavours.
The service here is great! My friend and I planned to come here and study for around 3 hrs so we had our laptops and workbooks. The waitress was so sweet. She was like a little fairy, always smiling and willing to help and answer questions politely, an angel pretty much. She actually combined two tables for us although we were two people and there were 3 seats to a table. We were very surprised and happy. Definitely A+ 😁.
My friend ordered the Matcha Latte which she said “This is probably the best one I’ve had”. She loves tea flavour so she also ordered the Earl Grey Crepe Cake which she also liked.
I ordered a Chai Latte (i love them) and a Taro Crepe Cake (i love taro). They were both delicious although chai lattes usually always taste good. The design on my latte was not as pretty as my friend’s one, but what matters most is the taste right?? 😁(they probably accidentally messed up). The Taro cake was a lot better than I expected. I also found out that you were meant to eat it per layer? Nice! So basically no complaints about the food or drinks whatsoever.
Overall the service was great and the crepe cakes were something different and unique which made it all the more interesting. I would definitely recommend coming here. 👍🏻😁
My missus loves this crepe cakes so so much that we almost grab it every week ever since she found the place online.
The ambience of the cafe is not really grand but it’s more to the friendly down to earth side where everyone can be relax and have a coffee and cakes meeting up with friends, etc. Place is very clean and staff are very friendly too.
My missus basically had tried all variety of the crepe cakes and there are no complaints about it. Price is not not really expensive consider on the patience and skill in cooking it.
All flavor cakes are full bodied with strong flavor of each taste - Green Tea, BlackSesame, Peach, etc.
Absolutely fell in love with this patisserie for their mille crepe cakes. My friends and I tried the strawberry, cookies and cream and nutella ones and they were bursting with flavour and were not too sweet. The staff were really nice and service was really good. Will definitely coming back to try out more flavours!!
Great service but not a great selection of sweets to choose from.
Their coffee was good and I’d definitely go back but not sure that the signature colourful crepe cake is all that. Never really been a fan of crepe-cake.
Too floury for me, but if u love crepes, u will love it.
Its a nice and cozy place, a little hard to find as its not on the main street, but worth it if you want some peace and quiet. There wasnt much people when I went and the server I got was friendly. The crepe cakes are a pretty good size and taste pleasantly sweet. The Latte I got tasted amazing, and this place had soy milk options for drinks. It wasnt as overpriced as I expected and the overall vibe was pleasant.
Friendly customer service, came early in the morning so it wasn't very busy. Ordered the rainbow mile crepe cake, which was $10 per slice and a cappuccino; both delicious regardless. Would definitely consider coming again!
I tried both the matcha and mango crepe cake on two separate occasions, both which were very tasty! One slice is definitely too much for one person and I think they are a bit expensive ($10 per slice). The owner of the store is very friendly and helpful when helping me to decide which flavour I wanted from the oreo, rainbow and mango cakes that were available. The cafe is well decorated with an open kitchen. I'd definitely recommend trying this at least once!
With baby pink walls and neon signs, JC&Co. is a great place for the perfect Instagram shot. Staff are friendly and you can see the mille crêpe cakes being made through a glass panel looking into the kitchen, which adds another dimension to the experience.
We ordered the rainbow and matcha mille crêpe cakes, and both were extremely satisfying to look and cut into.
However, the rainbow cake lacked flavour and the matcha was a little too subtle, and it was difficult to differentiate between the two.
Overall, if you're out for a good snap or gram, or just want to bring out your inner child again, JC&Co. will not disappoint.
Came here for the crepe cakes which come in a variety of flavours depending on the day. We saw the matcha, black sesame and rainbow cakes but JC&Co also makes them in yuzu and cookies & cream too. By the time we'd arrived for a post dinner snack, most of the pastries had finished, with only some croissants and banana cake left. We chose the black sesame crepe cake and I really enjoyed it. The texture was a little spongier than I'm used to, but the nutty flavours were strong and well balanced sweetness. We didn't try the coffee but beans are from Grounds of Alexandria. The owners are lovely and more than happy to chat about their goods. Definitely keen to return for the other treats!
Been hearing news about the newly opened JC & Co in Strathfield so had to check it out! They specialize in pastries and Mille crepe cakes! Unfortunately they only had the yuzu flavor when I was there, was hoping to get my hands on the black sesame, probably next time. Wasn't a fan of the yuzu mille crepe but the Danish pastry was really good!
JC&Co. Espresso and Patisserie is a french-style inspired cafe with a pink wall and round tables with a marble design. There is also a long wooden table for larger parties and a large glass door and glass windows. The “J” is for Jefferson and the “C” is for Cindy who are a couple passionate about desserts and pastry hence the name of their cafe ‘JC&Co’.
Mille crepe cake is booming now and my girlfriend is crazy about it, so i decided to try this cafe JC&co last weekend, it is located pretty close to the junction, under a new apartment building. We came here for the rainbow one and oh boy it delivered for sure, it is vanilla creme and I ordered the black sesame one too, which was pretty good as well. But the winner of the day is the rainbow one. Definitely worth the try if you are into mille crepe cake 😊
Loved the beautiful, light, ultra thin layered in fresh cream crepe cake.
French, Japanese inspired techniques with Asian and Italian flavours rolled into one. All my favourite flavours & cuisines.
Enjoyed all the flavours but, my favourite would have to be Taro, Tiramisu and their light creamy cheesecake. Absolutely delicious.
Thank you Jeff for taking my pre-order and had it all ready for pick on Mothers Day.
$10 a slice & Cheesecake $8 a slice. Worth it.
It was very quiet and peaceful and the worker there was very polite. she was friendly and traded jokes with me. the food was also very nice, I ordered blueberry smoothie and crepe. both of them were delicious. the place is general was also very clean and nicely spaced.
Surprisingly really nice sourdough melts! Very simple but tasty. The tiramisu mille cake was delicious and a generous serving size. Perfect with a cup of tea. The homemade lemonade was nice too. Will be back!!
Great cafe that is a little on the pricey side of things but the offerings are good, esp if you are Gramming. What they are known for is the Crepe cakes which are excellent quality. You do need to give them at least 2-3 days ordering in advance. Cakes are around $80 with lots of different flavours.
Famous for their crepe cakes, which I had today - always so tasty and what I like is that it's never overwhelming or too sweet. It was lovely and relaxing out on the balcony.
Tried their Earl Grey Mille Crepe and affogato! Great casual vibe, attentive service and lots of space to chat and relax. Would recommend those to give the mille crepe a try! 😋🍰
In my humble opinion this place has the some of the best crepe cakes I have ever tasted, and I have tried quite a number of places in Sydney. Yes they're not exactly what you would consider cheap, as each slice costs about $10 last time I checked, but the size and quantity of those slices are worth it! Each crepe layer is smooth, the cream filling amount just right and the flavours are gentle, not overpoweringly sweet. There are 10 flavour options (subject to availability ) and my favourites are taro & black sesame 👌
