went here with my friends and i had the spicy cold noodles and the noodles were pretty spicy but i really enjoyed it and the staff was nice
We tried this bulgogi restaurant at Strathfield. The location is a bit away from the Strathfield busy area. We love the wagyu beef but not really fuss about the pork belly. I have never been a fan of the bbq pork belly anyway cause too fatty. The seafood sundubu (soft tofu) soup is quite nice and the steam egg is good too. My husband likes the cream corn cheese. Next time we will come back and will try their kalbi. Service is quite nice and fast too.

One of my new favourite KBBQ joints in Sydney!! The meat quality is amazing and they have a lot of popular dishes eg fried chicken and cold noodles. This place is definitely more on the pricey side so I wouldn’t come here regularly to get my KBBQ fix but if you are feeling a bit spendy you won’t regret trying this out!!! They have small meat sets ranging up to $70 or about that. I love their seafood pancake!!
They’ve got a fun prize system where if you spend over $200-$400, you can win prizes like a free soft drink the next time to visit etc.
EDITED 9/12/19: The Bulgogi never fails to impress me and they have upped their game in every way since I last wrote this review! The grills now have a section for melted cheese and egg, and they give you so many more new sides now. The fried chicken now has a fluffy light but crunchy batter and the chicken itself is so juicy. Customer service is great as usual. Went for lunch and there were only a few groups but they kindly seated each group in a different part of the restaurant for our own privacy.
Think I’ve a new favourite kbbq joint! Everything from service, to food, to ambiance is 5 stars in my books!!
The add-on set menu’s with your meat cuts are a really good idea if you want to try other side dishes.
We ordered “Set A” which included seafood pancake, steamed egg, corn cheese, spicy tofu hot pot and salmon sashimi for $36.
Everytime I come here I tend to order their wagyu bbq sets which always taste so good! Their yukke is bomb as too.
ALSO they have sojus for only $10!!! Such a good deal.

Nestled in a quieter street off the main road in Strathfield. It is a house style restaurant with different rooms etc. They use queuetix which makes your visit so much more enjoyable. Great prices compared to other popular KBBQ restaurants in the area. Good quality meat and portion sizes. Love the add on packages available for each meals/ sides such as egg soup, seafood pancake, seafood soup deal with your KBBQ. Would recommend coming here with a few people because there's so many options to choose from and you just want to order everything! Would love to come back to try their other food (non KBBQ). Wait isn't too long- if any.

Very good Korean restaurant in Strathfield, didn’t have BBQ this time, but dishes are up there with one of the better Korean restaurants in Sydney.
Clay pot rice was very appetising and seafood pancake up there with the best.
Sides were good, I believe we had crab legs as one of the sides, which is rare and also got soup as a side.
Really polite staff and very accommodating. We had this big pram and a screaming baby but they were still so nice. They were super nice. The food was good but kinda expensive for it.
This is probably my favourite Korean bbq restaurant in Stratty, I really love the deals you can get here, and the meat is quality stuff! I highly recommend:D
The food was incredibly good, might be one of my new favourite Korean place to go to. Staff is friendly. The sashimi is very fresh and the price was also decent for this set (approx $120-$130 - I may be wrong)
Food: The food here is delicious, although the meat prices are pretty pricey, they have an awesome add-on deal for $28 that includes extra side dishes such as their seafood pancake, which I highly recommended as it is very flavourful and packed with soooo much seafood. They also provide you with many free side dishes, which is a nice little bonus. The wagyu beef and pork belly are my favourite to order, as it just melts in your mouth. The meat is definitely of good quality, thus the higher prices. The fried dumpling they have however is quite bland, and is ehh for the price.
Service: Service here is pretty good, they come to your aid when you ring the little button the table, and the servers have been very happy to help the few times my family and I have gone.
Overall, I highly recommended, and we will be back to try out other dishes.
The Bulgogi is a Korean barbecue restaurant with two branches in Chatswood and Strathfield. The branch we visited this time was the Strathfield one. The restaurant is situated about a few minutes from Strathfield Plaza and not on the same strip as other Korean barbecue restaurants. From the outside, it looked like a new yet rustic brick house that invited you to eat there.
Went here for kbbq lunch with a group of friends- very friendly staff and good service! Food is reasonably priced and is suitable for large groups that favour variety. Will definitely come again.
Tucked in a side street in Strathfield - Great place for Korean BBQ, very responsive staff and tasty food. Highly recommended if you are a fan of Korean BBQ.
Food is great, i tend to always go for fresh meat without any marinating since its perfect with the sauce on the side they provided.Marinated meat taste average but this place offers good value in conjunction to the quality and its marbling. Love to get the set A such a good value for 3-4 people. I wouldn't suggest the jokbal though..Place is quite big, sometimes too noisy on the weekend so leave ur kids at home ;)
I've always wondered what was so great about KBBQ because people rave about it so much.. but now I know. The Bulgogi is hands down the best KBBQ I have ever tried. The food was delicious, service was great and the restaurant is so cute! This is now my go to restaurant for Koren food and I highly recommend it to everyone!!
The word “Bulgogi” literally translates as “fire meat”. It refers to a Korean-style dish made of marinated and thinly sliced meat grilled on a barbecue or a stove-top griddle. So when we visited the Strathfield outpost of the namesake restaurant chain, we had a fairly good idea what was in store for us.

Nice spacious place, good service, good food. Been a few times and tried hot pot, stone pot, barbecue as well everything was nice. Like the seafood pancake in particular lots of seafood in it, was crispy, light and fluffy inside.
Disappointed to see that their old set menus have disappeared as it came with a good variety of dishes. We had a plate of beef ribs, kimchi cold noodles, the wagyu set and set A (which came with egg soup, seafood pancake, tofu stew and corn & cheese) split between 4 people and it came down to $40 each. I really enjoyed the wagyu meat. Not sure if I'd rate it as the best restaurant but it's a nice one to come to if you're going out with a large group of people to share multiple dishes. It has a nice and cosy interior which gives you a homey experience. I recommend their egg soup and corn & cheese
omg the spicy pork cartilage was so spicy even though it was mild, but it was the best dish of the day!!!! I also had the ox tripe rice and it was really nice and flavoursome, a bit sour and spicy. The wagyu set was ok, and the pancake was quite average, maybe we should have ordered some cold noodle instead of that😂
The atmosphere here is what you'll experience if you were in Korea, a place to chill out on stools while having some kbbq with some mates. This is my go to Korean bbq, love their customer service and the atmosphere the most. I always get the wagyu set, which is probably the best wagyu set around the area, the softness of the meat melting in your mouth is delicious would recommend!! BTW best cheesy corn around!!
I love this place! It's probably one of my favourite Korean BBQs. It does get quite busy, so a reservation is always good! It's located inside a house styled restaurant so it's quite cosy but spacious. The only downside I would have to say is that it is a little more pricier, but their wagyu is soo good!!
They also have corn cheese which is the bomb dot com! Their seafood pancake is a must (put it back on the grill for that extra crunch 😋) I recommend their hot pot as well :)
I can't believe it, this place was so underrated! I live in Strathfield for a long time, I have tried almost all of BBQ place in Strathfield, this is still my top 1 place to hang out with friends on weekend. Order the wagyu set, cold noodle and beers + rice wine set. They are the best combination.

Straying from our usual BBQ restaurant in Strathfield once again, we found ourselves at The Bulgogi, tempted by their set menu offer which we saw when we were looking this place up on Zomato.
There werent any customers when we arrived, so we were seated and served immediately (customers began to come in a little later). Looking through the menu we realised that the set menu we wanted to order had increased $10 in price, with Zomato showing it as $128 and the menu in store showing $138. We ordered it anyway. For the main meals that came with it we chose kimchi stew and kimchi fried rice in a hot stone bowl. We swapped the seafood pancake that came in the set menu to a kimchi pancake and also ordered potato noodles and spicy rice cakes as extra.
Although service was friendly and our waitors were really nice, food took a while to come out and we were getting impatient. Also, meat portions in this BBQ set menu were quite small. Between 3 people there wasn't a lot of meat at all and hardly enough for all 3 of us to eat a satisfactory amount. I ended up eating most of the kimchi stew and other foods so my sister and fiance could enjoy the meat. Also, the egg soup side dish they served was completely tasteless. Our usual place makes it much better.
The other foods tasted really good. I really enjoyed the potato noodles and kimchi stew and my fiance really liked the kimchi fried rice. They had a good amount and variety of side dishes too which we enjoyed.
Although the food here is tasty and service is good, we find that The Bulgogi is a bit of a rip off. The bill for 3 people totalled to almost $200. We usually order exactly the same amount of food at other BBQ places in Strathfield and the bill never exceeds $120. Plus we get much more generous meat portions.
Highly doubt we'll be returning to The Bulgogi anytime soon considering you can get more value for money at many of the other nearby BBQ restaurants.

Pros: Don't have to wait long for a table, service is fast! Press that buzzer and you will have a waiter at your side within seconds! Very clean, airy and there is light (not dark and dim like a few other places on strathfield)
Cons: my steamed egg was over cooked once, the staff do not speak much English.
If you have to ask which BBQ place in Strathfield I like most, I would definitely say this place.
Very tidy and nice place with planty of seats. Most importantly, it serves waygu beef which not many Korean BBQ place does.
Service are warm and nice and always with smile.
The waygu set is around 68 dollars and the set with waygu and plenty of other hot dishes for 5-6 ppl are around 178. Price are very reasonable and won't break your bank.
Was pretty happy with this bulgogi. Had dinner with colleagues and we ate starters, bbq meat and then hot pot. Ended up very full and it wasnt too expensive which is great. The egg soup was good and so was the wagyu meat platter. Recommend for large groups
Yesterday was a scorcher, today felt like winter! The usual Aussie summer. What better to do than have dinner next to the warmth of a Korean barbecue.
Tonight's pick was The Bulgogi House in Strathfield. I like how they have converted an old Victorian house into a Kbbq joint. Spacious and appealing.
We went for non-marinated wagyu and pork set which costs over $50. A little pricy I must say as the meat serving is a tiny bit small than the other Kbbq joint in the area. The meat tastes good. I always enjoy the natural taste of the meat without added flavour of a marinade.
We enjoyed the mung bean pancakes with pork mince. An order gives you three medium sized pancake. Each piece is enough for one person. I will order this again!
The banchans are just so-so. Enjoyed the pasta salad.
Tip: try to make a reservation. The place gets easily packed on a busy night. You don't want to wait outside for a long time. Not when you can smell the meat grilling but can't have one yet.

Another Korean restaurant in Strathfield life must be tough with so many similar restaurants in such close proximity.
@6pm the place was empty. On the plus side we were served very fast once we picked our dish which was their signature "Seoul Bulgogi". Our meal was promptly served with beautiful ''gold-ware" of bowls, plates and spoon.
Normally Korean side dishes are a pleasant addition to the main courses however we were disappointed at the quality of side dishes that were served. The kimchi was over fermented which left it overly acidic. The side dishes over all lacked freshness and vibrancy. Never the less one shall never despair - our main "event" was excellent ;) the blend of veggie, glass noodle and Bulgogi beef was rich in flavour and extremely tasty. The dish is on the sweet side so if you are not a sweet savoury fan this may not be your cup of tea. The concept of cooking meat in the grill while the other ingredients in the soup base was interesting and new. The end result is a satisfying meal that left one's belly happy ;)
...and as we left the restaurant started to fill up. We much be the eager early birds!
The marinated beef and pork was very nice. The dipping sauce the provide to coat the meat in was unique and tasty. The corn/cheese was good. I think you get more value ordering the meat item separately than ordering a set menu. Overall, a nice, cosy place to eat bbq and drink alcohol with friends.
Their meats are delicious, really good cuts and marinades. My favourite is the crispy Bossam and the Japchae potato noodles.
It's a shame that the garlic infused pork belly is not on the menu anymore, can't wait to come back!
Great Korean BBQ experience, we ordered deluxe wagyu beef plate, plus additional set to accomplish with the meat, very good portion size for two people, price is above average, but the location and environment isn't so good, I suggest you ask for outdoor seating, and enjoy it with a beer or two.
We had the beef pack and pork pack. Both meats were tender. The side dishes were good. We ordered the creamed corn and seafood pancakes, both a hit.
