Review Gelatissimo - Strathfield

This place is conveniently situated close to Strathfield station and has a wide variety of flavours to choose from! The Filipino Ube Cheesecake was my favourite!! The Ube flavour was just right and the chunks of cheesecake made it so much better! The Belgian Choc Marble Seashells flavour was super rich and indulgent. I found the Hawaiian Tropical Coconut surprisingly good! I didn’t expect pineapple to work so well with gelato🤯 📸 Check out @lilbeaneats on Instagram for more things food!!

From the Ice cream we tried all tasted delicious and at a reasonable price plenty of seating and neat and tidy location service was ok and quick 1 scope starts at $5 up to 3 at $8

Always a great place for my girls for a treat after school. Their favourite is the baby blue candy wonderland with hundreds and thousands sprinkles in a cup. Up to 3 hours free parking in strathfield plaza too. For an extra $2 you can get a mount franklin water bottle.

I really love Matcha , Greentea gelato. But you guys know what almost gelatissimo store doesnt’t have this flavour. I was always frustrated 😭 But Iin Strathfield place, I found a Matcha one . I ‘m cery happy to find this. Omg😆.

Grandchildren love this place. A bit pricey but good for a treat. Grandson has autism so the ambiance isn’t too good, a bit loud but we get a take home pack to enjoy at home or in the park. Red velvet gelato is the best flavour but sometimes it is out of stock which upsets grandson but we sometimes try other flavours too. Brownie is nice. Little cones are also nice. Friendly service with a smile is good. We will keep coming here.

That Asian lady is really friendly, tried two vegan flavours, love the triple chocolate one!

I bought a large 23dollar take home pack. I could choose 4 flavours and the package was 1L. Raspberry, espresso, and salted macadamia were so tasty. All my friends loved them. However, mango wasn’t as good as I had thought. The lady packed my icecream with a lot of ice so that I could carry it for an hour outside. She was super kind and the serving was generous.

The gelato was okay. Not really worth the money. The old guy minding the shop never smiles and smokes on the job then serves gelatos... Probably won't visit this joint again

We had Gelato and 1 piece of chocolate cake (can't remember full name) Chocolate cake taste was funny. Bread was too old and dry, chocolate was sour. I even couldn't swallow any bite. Had to complain and the server offer me to refund 3 dollars.... We paid for 5.9 dollars for this cake. because I already ate he said. Disappointing and disrespectful service. Won't go back again.

We just stopped for a coffee (me) and a coke (she) as a relaxing break after a long hard day. I found the service both efficient and friendly, and i enjoyed my coffee

Just tried their gelato donut last night and it was awful. � Tasted like greasy, savory bread with toothpaste. It was a bad combination to get choc mint. I don't think we'll ever return there. �

Tried the limited edition Double Dulce Donut and like the name suggests, this ice cream will satisfy those with a sweet tooth for sure!<br/><br/>Two scoops was more than enough to fill my belly with this deliciousness. A great selection of flavours on display with a couple of premium flavours that attract a surcharge such as the lime, coconut, as well as a flavour of the month being the “Double Dulce Donut”, a cold creamy confection with caramel coated chunks of donut with a dulce de leche ripple. It was a nice flavour combination together with a scoop of cookies and cream. We appreciated being offered a tasting before committing to which flavours we would order.

Salted Macadamia & dulce de leche, as good as it sound but it doesn’t delivered what I expected.<br/>This whole combo thing doesn’t give you a very sweetness satisfaction.<br/>I do believe saltiness is needed toward this flavour and a little more caramel sweetness from dulce we’ll bring this combo to live!

The raspberry gelato was great, but I felt like the donut itself did not meet my expectations. It was dry, and it didn't really complement the gelato. Recommend just ordering a cone or cup.<br/><br/>However, it was still a cute experience.

I usually love getting gelato from gelatissimo. However, I would never ever recommend or take someone to the outlet in Strathfield. Man is rude and not generous with scoops at all. I pay 6.50 for two scoops which would usually overflow the cup in other outlets but not this one. When I asked him if that was his serious serving size he got extremely offended almost yelling saying that's the normal portion size. Anyway, will never visit again. Disappointing management but flavours of ice cream are still good.

Terrible customer service, man was rude and was blunt in rejecting my card as it is a cash only store. I ordered a strawberry milkshake; the most I have ever paid for a disappointing experience. Almost $7 for what tasted like a watered down flavoured milk. Gelato is also below standard. Would definitely not recommend anyone.

Very ordinary gelato in very ordinary surroundings. Also a cash only joint, which feels a bit dodgy for this type of chain. Not to mention inconvenient for 21st century customers that do everything by card.
