Forget about Harris park, Strathfield is where it’s at! I had Ubereats from here initially and I thought their butter chick was really good and the chicken was cooked to perfection! So I decided to dine in and oh my I loved it! Their garlic and cheese naan is a definite must try! Really authentic flavours! Loved it
Went here after playing tennis at Strathfield.
Place was warm and had a good vibe to it.
Me and my mates ordered our classics, butter and garlic naan, butter chicken (for the non-spicy eater), goat curry and an entree (hara bhara kebab).
The service was friendly and lovely. Would gladly try more of this since not an expert on Indian cuisine :)
One of the best Indian cuisine I had in sydney! Paneer and Kulchha are delicious! Price is also resonable and staff are also friendly and polite
Great place to Hangout and Enjoy the taste of home cooked Indian food, good ambience and affordable prices and polite Staff. I would love to visit again and again and Enjoy the Delicious indian cuisine with my familyy...
This is the one of the best Indian food place in Inner sydney, and I try a lot of new places. The only problem for this place being car parking near the restaurant.
The food is authentic. I have tasted many dishes and most are good.
Must try - seekh kebab and chicken biryani.
Samosa is ok. Noodles are not good.

Good Indian food and it’s worth ur money.
Have been here once few days ago.
Located at a walkable distance from the Strathfield railway station.
It’s a small restaurant.
Staff is friendly!!
This place has the best Indian food in Strathfield area. We ordered for Dal Tadka, Garlic Naan, Palak Paneer, Rice and Pappadums. The food was really good, it was a Tuesday evening and this place was buzzing with people at 9pm. They have a good variety for vegetarians and it is a 3 minute walk from the station.
This place was highly recommended by a total stranger I was stucked with on my delayed train trip home. I am not sure whether I should curse or thank Transport NSW for this. He has been in Sydney for 10 years and can be considered Biryani addict. During note comparison discussion with him, I noticed this is the only place that I have overlooked. Despite his claim that this is the best Biryani experience I can expect in Sydney, I decided to make fact finding trip asap.
And the verdict is..... {drum rolls}...
He is absolutely right. This Biryani ticks all my boxes. It wasdefinitely slow cooked to perfection. The cook did not miss any dots on the i s and the crosses on the t s. Chicken is juicy and tender. The heat level is perfect for me. I wouldn't enjoy it if it was any hotter. Will definitely make this place my preferred Biryani supplier. May even come back to try their Haleem.
BTW, do not throw away the Raita and or the Salan. First of all it would be Cardinal sin to waste something this good. Secondly they both actually enhance the experience just like when you watch 3D or 4K movies.
P.S. the picture actually doesn't do any justice so please do not give this place a miss. In fact it should be on any Biryani lovers' bucket list.
This is the best restaurant in all of Sydney for authentic Indian food!
We have tried Papdi chaat, Sambhar chawal, poori chole , paranthas and everything is so delectable.
If you want amazing Indian food at good rates you must must visit this place.
Must try: Sambhar rice
Awesome authentic Indian food! Sambhar rice is a must try! Oneof the very few Indian spots in Sydney which serve solid good food at affordable price.
Ordered the chicken biriyani, which came along with raita and salan. The chicken was tender and flavorsome.
The drawback was when we asked for another raita and salan, the waitress insisted that she could refill only by taking the same dishware which was on our tables, rather than getting new ones. Quite puzzled there. Also, when we asked for a take away container, the waitress said each container would be charged 50 cents. Why would you want to force feed customers who can't finish their meal and don't want to waste the food, in the restaurant?

Biryanis are really good. One of the best in Sydney. Especially Chicken biryani.Chicken lollypop also must try item.Curries are good but salty.Thali is not much worthy for money.
This place was recommended to me by a friend, when I asked him where I could get to eat good vegetarian biryani.
I actually visited this place with him. It looks quite grand from the outside, but the ambiance and interiors have quite a bit to be desired. It was a bit plain and uninviting.
We ordered a Gobi 65, a vegetable Biryani and a dessert (some sweet, don't remember it's name). All items were pretty good, especially the sweet. The prices are affordable, and the service is decent.
I'll probably come back here. I just hope they improve the ambiance a bit.

This was one of the best indian places I've been to
Had a very nice time with my partner at is restaurant. The service was okay, a bit pricy perhaps, but the food was very good. I had the goat madras and it was delicious paired with garlic nann. The place looked clean, and the toilet was 3/5. Positive experience.
One have the best place to have Tawa Goat in Sydney.
The Cheese Nan are also good.
Serves drinks too but the ambiance brings it down a bit.
It was very near to my home and I was quiet a regular customer here whenever we did not cook.
The rating 4 is only and only for their biryani. Haven't tried anything else there. But their biryani is something you must have. Really delicious.
Been there to have dinner. Wide variety of Delicious Indian Cuisines. Tried chicken starters, chicken curry, chicken biryani and naan. Taste is excellent. A bit expensive though.
the food we ordered was good.. starters disappointed me..!! still recommend if you are looking for some good indian veg as well as non veg food.
Nice food and a great place for vegetarians too. Dont miss biriyani and paneer items.
Yum.. The restaurant itself is underwhelming when you see it - it looks like a run down salon in a shopping mall, and it takes a bit of time to get your food, but I don't care. It's awesome.
This place isn't the typical Westernized Indian food you get most of the time. The naan is buttery and soft, and the dishes are interesting and full of complex flavors. The Chicken 65 appetizer is spicy and amazing. All of the curries and other mains that we've had have been similarly interesting and delicious. No over-sweetened sauces here.
