Great pub. Clean, staff really friendly and the food was delicious. Stayed for lunch and had the Works Burger with chips and Barramundi, salad and chips. Chips were crunchy. Would recommend a visit. �
Went there for a hens. The staff were amazing and so friendly and the food was awesome. Highly recommend the steak sandwich

Normally a Parma man but had the Viking steak and it's the best I've had to date! Kitchen staff cooked to perfection and meat from Stroud butcher itself �

The V Dubs were a great band and the place was packed.
The bed was very comfortable and the room nice and clean.
It has definitely improved from a few years ago well done!

Very basic but friendly, convenient, clean and very economical representing good value for money.
Provides great country pub food. Had a porterhouse steak for supper and it was delicious.
Good restful night. Only negative was that the WiFi was out of order but these things happen in the best of places.
Would be excellent with a group of friends for a weekend. Stroud is an interesting out of the way place as well. Very pretty.
Great food, great service and great range of drinks behind the bar. The Renos the team are doing to improve the beer garden, bar and VIP room are making a difference to the experience already - really love it here. Great live music on Saturdays as well :)
Congrats to the new owners! The renos are great improvements already. Considering it was very busy on a Saturday night, our meals came out in no time and were delicious. The prawn and chorizo linguine did not disappoint and scotch fillet cooked to perfection. Its great to see our local pub thriving once again.
Had lunch and then stayed for the night. Beers were cold, food was good, bed was comfy. Tick, tick, tick! Just be wary of room 6, avoid if possible, it shares a wall with the cool room compressors so the whole room vibrated. I was so glad the staff were able to change rooms for us.
Unreal little country pub, brilliant outdoor area, free pool, friendly staff and good selection of beers.
Looking forward to going back there and grabbing some food, the menu looked great.
Snitty and chips were good, the salad was very fresh..$3 for a tablespoon of Dianne sauce is a rort.
New owners since end 2021. Renovations taking place to give this old gal the freshen up she needs.
