Review Zambrero - Subiaco

Louise is absolutely fantastic, impeccable service unprecented of a fast food employee. Her burritos are second to none, you can tell how much love she puts into making them. Thank you for your fantastic customer service Louise!

Food was OK, but the staff made no request to see vaccination certificate or to ensure check-in. Service was very indifferent. Nowhere to sit and eat, as all the tables and chairs are packed up. So went outside and found a table - turned out to belong to the next door eatery. So don't go to this Zambrero if you want to eat sitting down or if you want to be assured that the best is being done to avoid becoming an exposure site for COVID.

While I was being served one of the staff members was encouraging the other to lie to a doctor to get some sort of script. Yeah probably don’t do that...

We went to the Zambrero store in Subiaco .. Like a Mexican version of Subway... everything seems fresh and we enjoyed the Mexican flavours!!@!😇

I heard they're not into this segregation bandwagon that everyone seems to have jumped on. Never underestimate the causes you're creating. No doubt, you've helped someone want to live another day longer. Well done!

My Burrito was Yum! The staff were great too.

Staff put the wrong sauce on my food, and he just put the sauce over the wrong sauce after I told him, tastes a bit wired with another sauce I don’t like. 18/02/2022

I’ve been going here lately for lunch and have been enjoying it. If you go between 12-1 expect to wait 5-10 minutes as they not the fastest at serving, but the burritos are worth it IMO. Getting there early around 11:30am normally guarantees no line. Prices are a little high but I always feel satisfied afterwards.

Zambrero Subiaco has the stingiest servings in Perth. Today I asked for a veggie burrito and got a teaspoon of beans and half a teaspoon of guac. She even scraped it off so it was flat. I keep re-trying this outlet in the hope it will improve, because I love the other zambreros in the city but the staff are always unfriendly and the servings tiny.

Went to the Subiaco branch late not long before closing time. We felt this was a bit risky but tried anyway and were not disappointed as all the ingredients were still really fresh. The only thing I'd recommend is a salsa option without coriander as it really takes over the other fresh flavours and not in a pleasant way!<br/>Really cute location and friendly staff who gave you the right amount of space for you to make your food choices without feeling rushed!

Big thumbs down. Ordered via uber eats last week at work and the restaurant forgot our drinks, gave us the wrong meal for one of my colleagues and took a really long time. My dinner was okay but the ingredients were not as fresh as other chains I've visited. Maybe they were having a bad night or something but I won't visit here again.

Subiaco is the best Zambreros in Perth. The staff give decent portion sizes (unlike Scarborough), they are all really friendly and love to have a chat. They also started opening earlier on a Sunday to cater for those with hangovers ❤️

This outlet is the closest to work. Love their black rice powerbowl and is the only thing I order. So happy it's gluten free and most sauces are as well. Their website gives a detailed breakdown of what is gluten free and what's not. I forgot to check on the sauces but staff were able answer promptly and certainly. Only downside, $13.95 is not a competitive lunch deal. Healthy and delicious tho! Oh I also found some servers to be less generous than others especially during peak hour.

Clumsy Chikito's. Came here with my boyfriend today at about 4:40 to get a chikito. The man who eventually came out of the back wasn't very friendly at all! Was really careless with putting our meal together and the chikito's didn't have enough filling...seemed really empty...a bit like him I guess...And to top it off, he used a really dodgy pen to write a 'B' for beef on mine, which tore through the foil and stained my clumsy chikito blue... <br/>Generally I love Zambreros. This experience was just super disappointing :/

Just had my first Zambreros experience last night at the subi store. I was hungry, looking for something that wasn't burgers, and willing to try something new. Up pops the Subiaco store, located less than a stone throw from Woolworths and the train station. <br/><br/>Upon entering I was greeted by energetic, super lovely staff. They were ready to go with gloves on. Since I had never eaten here before I asked for a brief explanation of what it was all about and within a minute I had my burito made my way in my hand. And mannnn did it taste good! <br/><br/>Will definitely be returning back here again soon, maybe even with beers since I noticed it was BYO !! Perfect little night spot.<br/><br/>Muchas gracias amegios !

As a vegetarian (trying to be vegan) it is so refreshing and exciting to know that Zambrero Subiaco have such a wide variety (not to mention deliciously tasty) vegan and vegetarian options! That are more than filling and satisfying! Which is rare to find in perth!
