Went to the Saturday opening night of Four Brave Women, super yummy food, great vibe in the shop. Thanks to everyone for their hard work to get the cafe up and running. I'll be back for more yummy food!

Lovely welcoming hospitality, really interesting and delicious food and not a pierogi in sight. Loved the Pkhali, a type of vegetable salad with beetroot or with carrot/sweet potato, herbs, garlic - yum!

Met Lindy, lovely lady at the shop. Love the whole concept of helping refugees. Lovely products too. So inspiring indeed!

Four brave women: Great food with excellent service. Easy street parking. Nothing fancy (like environmentally friendly burnable paper plates), but this place satisfies our stomach and soul.

The food was really lovely. Sat out the back in the courtyard. Basic but sunny and warm. I’d go there again. Hoping to try new ethnic dishes as they change hands.

We had dinner from Zara & her family on Saturday night and it was delicious. We especially enjoyed chatting to Amir - he should become front of house!

A casual communal eatery run by refugee women, not only does each purchase make a difference, you’ll get to enjoy traditional dishes from these women’s home countries. A visit to the newly opened bakery next door had me trying Russian honey cake (medovik) for the first time along with some delicious pirozhkis filled with mushroom, and spinach and cheese. The cappuccino made from fairtrade coffee from Sacred Grounds was smooth and creamy. I look forward to returning to have a meal because this is feel good eating at its best.

Delicious homestyle cooking in a vibrant informal cafe. Great value and generous portion sizes. Incredible international flavours unlikely to be found elsewhere.

Great initiative! This is such a lovely place to visit, perfect for catching up with friends. The menu is different depending on who is running the kitchen, but such a lovely vibe. It's got a great courtyard space to sit in that is relaxing and easy enough parking. Right in the heart of Summer Hill. Loved our visit, the food and the coffee!

Lovely place for a casual meal! Had the $25 share place - was able to pick and choose what we wanted and how much. Cute products in the attached gift shop. Felt good helping a great cause with something as simple as a meal 😊

We love this place. Great food, great vibe, great staff, great cause. They had a popup bar this time, last time there was live music.

The food was affordable at $12-16 for mains but they were all incredibly delicious! Also it is a business with a cause!

This place is my new favourite. Such a simple but genius concept! We’ve tried the Ethiopian and Georgian lunch buffets so far and both were exceptional AND exceptional value for money. The freshest, tastiest homemade food with a huge range of options for gluten free and vegan. All the staff are ridiculously friendly and the sweets I’ve tried have been incredible (particularly teff brownies during the week). We will be back as often as we can!

Really yummy food and reasonable prices. They change the menu/cooks every 8 weeks so it will be a new experience when you go back after a while. At the moment they have Syrian food and a little pop-up bar it the back. They also have a beautiful courtyard out the back with fairy lights and plants. I'll be going back.

Been keen to try this for some time because I love story behind this restaurant and in particular their vegan selection even though we re not vegan. Food was SO delicious! We had the weekend lunch buffet. Tried everything (mostly vegan bar one chicken curry). The smoked rice...OMG. Everything was fantastic and also excellent value. Cannot wait to come back.
