We dined as a couple. I ordered the scallops followed by gnocchi pescatore. The scallops were fresh and the gnocchi was fantastic. The service was great and though the atmosphere had a 'full restaurant' vibe, it was fine. We could converse with each other without raising our voices. It appeared they'd invested in sound proofing solutions.
It was a pleasant evening.
After a shocking experience at mystic the other day i tried this restaurant tonight, absolutely beautiful meal. Nice crisp pizza and beautiful pasta, definitely coming back here
I just came to Melbourne to meet my friend，and we decided to have dinner in Sunbury！We ordered the day of soup！Creamy mushroom soup，very fresh taste！For the main，we had Rib eye and garlic prawn，very yummy！The dessert is good too！The stuffs were busy，but the service is good！We will be back soon！5 Star in Sunbury！
I couldn’t count how many times we’ve been to Vic’s. Never ever disappointed. Pumpkin gnocchi and chicken saltimbocca are favourites.......and the cheesecakes......YUM.

The food is tasty and authentic. It has a family friendly atmosphere. We always enjoy the food when we go however the last time we went, the staff needed to work on their service.
Always love coming to Vics, such great and enthusiastic customer service, delicious meals and yummy desserts! A little bit on the pricer side, but always a good place for special occasions!

Pumpkin gnocchi was not that nice - ain't too verb heavy and no texture or flavour - but in saying that it won't be stopping us coming back because we really loved the customer service and the quality of the food. Excited to try different menu items

Visited your fine establishment today. Was one of the best dining experiences I have had for a long time. The staff were amazing, the young lady who was our waitress went above and beyond to help us have a fantastic lunch. The meals were top notch, the atmosphere: delightful. Couldn't have asked for a better experience... Thank you all so much. Will definitely dine with you again.

A favourite of my family with authentic, well presented food. It's reasonably priced. We love their lasagne, vegetarian pizza, margarita pizza and calabrese spaghetti. It's a great place to relax even with a buzzing atmosphere. The staff are professional and super friendly. The busiest restaurant in Sunbury
Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Food was tasty and well presented. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely go back.

It has that warm social feeling that makes you realise that dinner is not just about the food.

One of my favourite local eateries. Food is always good and staff are always very friendly and helpful. Haven't had a bad experience or meal here to date.
Service a tad slow, as it took almost 10 mins for our drink order to arrive (at lunch with the restaurant at 30% capacity). Staff friendly and helpful throughout. Supreme gourmet pizza was very dry and quite tasteless, probably a 4/10 on my pizza scale. Loose the pumpkin and broccoli guys as it doesn't add anything to the pizza apart from giving you a slight "this is fresh" feeling.
Calabrese pasta though was fantastic. Beautiful rich and creamy sauce, pasta cooked al-dente. A tad too many olives though but overall a fantastic dish, and their saving grace that will have my wife and I coming back again too see how they stack up with their other pastas.

Favorite spot for dinner for the whole family, never disappoints. Fantastic food and great service, staff are always smiling and helpful. Plus our favorite waiter in town Simone never misses a chance to brighten up our night a little bit extra.
This restaurant has great atmosphere and seems to be very busy even mid-week. I really like to addition of the outside eating area. We had pizzas which were cooked to perfection.

My favourite Italian restaurant, first class pizza's and pasta's. I have had the meat lovers pizza and the pumpkin gnocchi and I cannot fault it. The staff are really friendly and efficient and the chef is brilliant.
Consistently good food. Have visited here twice now with my partners family and have been pleasantly surprised. Being from "the other side" of the city, I can be a bit of a food snob and am often dubious of restaurants on "this side" because (to be frank), most just don't compare.
Vics is definitely one restaurant which does not fall into this category! I am so impressed with the quality of food, customer service, even the layout of the restaurant is very open, with a lot of light. Have had the gnocchi fritte both times (cooked to perfection) and also tried the lamb risotto, it was so good! Love visiting this place.

Good quality meals. If you don't want to leave Sunbury, this is one of your best options for a decent meal. The food is always of a high standard and the staff know their products.
Well we arrived at 4 pm sat by the gas fire for a glass if house red. We are loving the atmosphere so much we had another now ordered the soft shell crab in the specials. I am so impressed by this dish I had to give it a top review.
This place is pretty good, new facility's are very nice ! Foods always nice but I think it could be made better by changing the menu to something less common, items you can get anywhere else. Service is always good, always friendly and prompt but a few things could be improved to push this resturant to the next level, such as table setting using a tray not handfuls of hand mauled cutlery etc etc. But all up this place is pretty good !

Great food, friendly helpful staff, pleasant ambience. First visit, first impressions - good quality food at competitive prices, polite helpful staff and a very pleasant ambience. It's always a great sign to see an eatery full of customers within the first 45 minutes of lunch business & that was the case here. My friend & I both thoroughly enjoyed our feast and it didn't cost a fortune, I also noted the wide range of meals on the menu, I'll be returning.

Our family has travelled the world and always comparing to the 'Vic's standard' - no better Italian served anywhere else. Just ask my wife - our girls can't be wrong! Furthermore, we usually don't eat seafood unless it's a renowned, well reputed seafood specific restaurant. Vic's is the only place where, in addition to the traditional Italian cuisine, the seafood on the menu is unsurpassed - yet so reasonably priced.
The high calibre of quality, cleanliness, and service set a benchmark in true hospitality! You can taste the love of the values driven family behind this awesome establishment.
PS: This is an independent review - and no I haven't been paid to say this. Then again, we have received a few hugs from Vic and the family and we do love them - so we are biased, yet we are proven correct again and again.....
I visited the new restaurant and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was delightful and all my party commented on how it felt like we were in a crown casino restaurant, not Sunbury. The food was delicious and the waiters were very attentive. I will definitely be going back!

Always reliable.. It doesn't matter what I order on the menu, the food is always consistently good as is their service. Their coffee is fantastic as well - love the fact that they use local Sacco beans.
The best. I adore this restaurant. The food is simply the best, majority of the staff are perfect. I enjoy the changing special and it's a family fav.
One day I hope the restaurant to be larger in size though, that's my only negative.

Sunbury favorite, in fact it's really the only place I can say that deliver a above average menu, good home style cooking, excellent service, and family friendly . I have been coming to Vic's for years and would go more regularly if it wasn't so busy in the evenings , lunches are fantastic
We love vics. Over the past year we have visited several times. The food is fantastic, generous portions and great flavours. Weekly specials are always very creative and food quality is fantastic. The service is consistently great, they can't do enough for you and everyone is very attentive. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant.
Perfect. I've been to Vics often over the last 5 years. We have always enjoyed generous portions of tasty food. My favorite dishes there are the bruschetta entre, lamp main and creme brulee all of which were beautifully cooked and presented. I think this has been underrated on Urban Spoon. Oh, and be sure to book on the weekends as this is only a small restaurant!

Fabulous Flavours with an Italian Flair. WOW... I have been lucky enough to sample at least 10 dishes prepared by Vic and my tastebuds are still dancing. Carmel runs a friendly and efficient 'front of house'; Italian hospitality that supersedes their city cousins in Lygon St. This place is the ONLY venue that I wish to dine, when visiting the Sunbury region. My Italian is not great but I think the word to share is "bellisimo".
