We had 3 different dishes and they all taste super delicious. Great atmosphere and excellent service! What a wonderful Thai restaurant this is!
Funny little location. Best food in Sunbury that I know of. Decor desperately needs an update and a paint. Few little service things, one being the dishes not coming out at the same time. Entrees for two about five minds apart. Then mains came up and the rice later. Staff are friendly and nice.
The food is extremely tasty, well cooked, seasoned and was the highlight. Serving sizes were about right for one with healthy appetite. This would be my first preference for food in Sunbury, especially if you like Thai. At time of review the rating was 3.9 which seems fitting.
Easily the best Thai in Sunbury. Their home delivery is quick and efficient. A family favourite for when we all catch up. Haven’t picked a bad meal yet.
This is among the better places to dine in Sunbury. The restaurant is a converted house and we were lucky to be seated in a side room, which was wonderfully quiet. The are too many places where I struggle to hear our table's conversation over the ambient noise. The service was good and the food was enjoyable
Very friendly service, not much of a wait for food. The chef's specials are all delicious in particular the prawns. Never had a bad experience here.
The quality was good and waitresses were very friendly. However, Pud Thai taste was far away from what I previously had had and expected. No crushed peanut on top and no lemon on side and flavour was not enough.
Unassuming little place in Sunbury with a homely feel to it. Came here with a group of friends for dinner, and was particularly surprised with the quality and quantity of the food. Genuine "cheap-eat" with fantastic flavours and serving sizes. Ordered the Chicken Pud Satay and shared a variety of entrées - the highlight of which were the Hawaiian prawns. Certainly worth a trip if you happen to be in the area
Fantastic food! Very authentic with a wide variety of dishes. Our favourites would have to be the curry puffs, and the Hawaiian prawns - absolutely delicious! The Tom Yum Soup is great and also love the Pud Khing (prawn) & Chu Chee Prawns with coconut rice, mind you all of their curries are great as well!
Love the food at Sunantas we used to get weekly takeaway and have tried out most of the menu. Love the entrees and the salads. The pad Thai is really good as is the duck curry.

Best meals ever. OK, seeing that we hate cooking, we venture out a fair bit to find tasty and budget meals.
So we tried Sunanta's Thai, Our order was. Spring rolls, Yellow Curry with Chicken, Yellow Curry with Vegi's, Large Coconut rice, 1 serve of Roti bread and two cans of coke, All up just on $40. for two people and we almost rolled out, meals were a great size, and the Yellow Curry was one of the best have had had. So much so we are heading back tonight before a movie. Guys give this gem a shot.
Always a good choice. Have been many times when I was in Sunbury- and often went in groups. It was always a successful choice for groups if everyone likes Thai. Coconut rice is beautiful. All the classic curries are lovely. Range of vegetarian dishes diminished over time which was sad, but they will do a vegetarian option if you ask for it.
Like other reviews I have mixed feelings towards sunanta's. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced but the wait to be served is ridiculous. We ended up leaving the last time we went as the waitress was rude and was serving people that came after us first, even when we asked if she could take our order. Think we'll stick with take away from now on
Consistent & delicious. Always delicious food from here. We are regular customers and have never had any complaints. Friendly staff, fast service, high qualify of food and all round the best Thai I have had in Melbourne :) you won't be disappointed.
Yummo. I tried this restaurant for the first time last night and the food was exquisite. Was I in Phuket?.....NO Sunbury !! What a hidden gem. I will definately be a regular customer.
Best green curry. Whilst I've only gotten takeaway from here twice since I moved to the area I know it's my new favourite. The thai green curry is the best I've ever had and this includes some of the more popular restaurants closer to the city. Good sized serves and well priced, the food this place turns out is something Sunbury can be proud of.

Absolutely brilliant. It was our first time at thus resturant and everything we ordered was fantastic.
Home away from home. I live two houses away away from sunanta's and it's never let me down. The price is very compeditive and the meal sizes are very reasonable.
The staff are all so friendly and the decor just makes you feel like you're at someone's home.
This is my favorite treat place to go. And there isn't many places like that around Sunbury so it's a rare gem to me.
deffinately reccomend the roti bread. Although the sizes aren't that huge it's deffinately worth it.
Delicious & inexpensive. Will definitely be back.
Best Thai in Town. I have tried every thai place in Sunbury and Sunanta's is by far the best.
The food is delish and you get a good amount for your money.

Pefect Food. I have been there with my partner quite alot and the food is divine, service was excellent but lacking when busy which is to be expected, dining in is very small and squishy needs and cold when winter plce needs to be extended and updated.
We have orderd takeout and tryed all the dishes and they were perfect and delivery was always on time said when ordered or even before. Has a long time to wait for food to be delivered but that cant be helped due to lots of orders.
Great food. Gone there heaps of times & also order in on a regular basis, love the food, almost tried every dish!! recomend it to every1..tom yum soup is 1 of my favourites & the green curry!!
Very nice food here all 4 times we have brought here. Recommend the coconut prawns but all dishes tried dance on your taste buds. Good service & friendly staff.
I liked it.....but. Chose the place thru Urban Spoon, arrived without booking, the place was pretty busy with only two girls taking phone orders, table orders, serving and clearing up, so they were a bit slow taking our order, we were grateful they could find us a table. The food was lovely, house made and fresh, I just wish my vegetables were cooked, other than that a nice surprise, really nice fresh food

Just delicious!. We love this place, if you have a small group, ask to be put in one of the back rooms so you can be as noisy as you like and private! the food is so tasty and fresh and they use really high quality meat cuts. The banquet is of great value and they will do a banquet for 2 as well. It gets pretty busy so service is a little slow but the food is definitely worth the wait!

Excellent. There isn't much parking here and be prepared to park on gravel. But the food is wonderful, of excellent quality and good serve sizes. I highly recommend.
Authentic and cosy. Definitely will be back. Small place so I would recommend bookings.
