My fish of the day was nicely prepared and served by very friend staff. For a local cafe, this place has a great vibe with live music on weekend and beautiful art displays. This is definitely my place to go for a catch up with friends enjoying a good cup of coffee and tasty brunch.
We had a very good breakfast on the weekend at the Granary, the food was tasty with a standout big breakfast (The Reaper) and a delicious barramundi, chips and salad. The other standout is the staff who are just gorgeous. There was a really good busker singing away also. Will definitely return. You cant beat good food and unpretentious service.
Fanatastic. The big breakfast was one of the better I've had in Melbourne for a long time. And at $17 for a huge serving, very good value. Great coffee, lovely staff. Hugely impressed. The rest of the groups meals also impressed. Fish of the day tasty and $15, large pancakes. Even live music provided by decent busker! Looking forward to visiting again!
Convenient, really classic and consistent food. Good location and friendly staff, never disappointed with the things I get! It's a pretty basic menu so you know what you're getting ! Nothing too fancy

Granary's stuff is quick to serve customers and taking orders. The Barramundi dish was divine the displaying of the whole dish was superb. The potato wedges were really crispy and delighted, The fish they use i have never tried before but it was splendid at so many levels i myself is i fish lover and i can tell you i have never tasted anything like it it was softly cooed that it falls apart in your mouth it was so juicy i couldn't get enough of it, and above it all the fish did not over take the dish it was very nicely balanced.the taste of the entire dish was magnificent. The salad was very fresh as if it was hand pick this morning. it made me feel like traveling to greece for no parent reason. there vietnamese coffee with condensed milk was to strong to my taste but i could see how people can enjoy it it stops time the moment you drink it. To all Stuff and Owner of Granary's Don't change a thing. And thank you for the wonder full time I had at your cafe. I'll be returning to Granary's soon hungry for more.

Positive vibes. Having not long moved to Sunshine form the country, I am finding it a bit harder to settle in than I thought I would. I was dying for a coffee this morning and had a look in Urbanspoon as to where might be a good place for one. You weren't wrong...
The service above all else was great. My waitress was friendly, chatty and obliging. We introduced ourselves as I sat down. From there on in she referred to me by name. As I left, she happily said "Bye Tania!" as if I go there all the time! This familiarity reminded me of home and I left feeling a lot more positive about my move. (NB she knew nothing of my story)
I was given a glass of water on arrival. My eggs benedict were perfectly cooked and weren't drowned in hollandaise sauce. I read a paper, enjoyed a strong coffee and relaxed. As I left, I ordered a flat white to go.

New owners really are trying hard with this place!. The original owners were terrible! Tom, the new owner took over and spruced this place up! The coffees aren't anything special but the meals are decent. Service is really great here too. I recommend the Moroccan eggs aka baked eggs with a tomato kusundi (I think). They can sometimes be a little undercooked so tell them to make sure it is cooked for a bit longer than usual.
Baked eggs a lil under cooked. But have ordered a few other dishes for breakfast there and was very pleased. Something different for the area- nice to know there's somewhere to go close by for brunch
Fantastic service, excellent food. We took advantage of one of the last nice days we'll see here in Melbourne for a while to sit in the beer garden for brunch. The staff rushed to put together a play area for our toddler, which was a really nice touch. It's fantastic to eat somewhere we do not have to leave him in a high chair, or chase after him constantly.
My latte was excellent, and the breakfast (Hunter?) was exactly what I needed after a big night out. My poached egg was perfect, and unlike a previous review did come with Hollandaise sauce which was perfect.
My husband got the burger, which was excellent - not greasy at all, and was a generous serving.
Staff were friendly and attentative and we will definitely be returning.
Tasty food and excellent beer garden with plenty of room for the kids to run around.
Im impressed to find a place like this in Sunshine. Spacious n comfortable, the coffee is surprising good. Have not tried the food but have heard its good. Look forward to trying it.
Nice atmosphere, and good jazz band on a Friday night, with a wine and some tapas it's a great way to start the weekend!
Not going to lie went to iCafe first, though their hours don't reflect their actual open time on Saturday. I'm glad they were closed.
The Granarys coffee is fantastic. Definitely a must hit place in the West. Their atmosphere feels comfortable and cosy and they're not too busy on a Saturday.
Love this gem in Sunshine, good sized portions. Vegetarian brekky is fab. Always clean. Prompt service. Very reasonable prices. What more could you want?
