Went past here with my brother and his girlfriend for some brekkie! Loved the games on the tables (connect 4, chess etc) and the set up was nice, I feel that it was lacking any vibe. I had the big brekkie and they got burgers! They good was good, and they seemed to like their burgers - I guess there just wasn’t anything original about the place. Just another place that does food and burgers! So not a bad thing, but you know how I am! I want something to make it a little different :) would go back if I’m in the area but wouldn’t go back if it’s out of my way.

Things I love about this place: Quick and efficient service; the food presentation is very neat and clean; soft ambient music which suits the cafe style layout; food is consistently delicious; there are many board games around the cafe for quick entertainment.

Burgers, wedges and a milkshake- sums up our relationship and food ventures if you ask me! Visiting today after a profound absence of burgers in our stomachs, Emily and I were pleasantly delighted upon experiencing the wonderful ambience and array of board games readily available. With Guess Who to keep us company, we were excited to see how good the food looked when it came.
Ordering today the 401 and the OG, wedges and a coconut milkshake, let's get to the chase. The burgers were very similar in taste albeit the egg in the 401. If you are like me, I love my eggs on burgers and this gave off very Grill'd egg burger vibes. A juicy burger, the bun seemed to not be as tasty as other brioche and the vegies lacking the freshness too. Nonetheless the meats were very juicy and perhaps saved the burgers. The sauces used in the burgers were oozing throughout, providing for an overall succulent and satisfying burger- not the best we have had by any margin, but a very satisfying feed nonetheless.
With that being said this is a nice little restaurant worth visiting in the area, with a unique ambience and a taste quite unique for burgers, we rate this a solid 3.5/5. Good affordable burgers, and a very satisfying feed!

I love that this place offers matcha lattes and hot/cold homemade honey lemon tea. The only place I know locally that still serves this after 4pm. Also, the games that are available are awesome! Can stay here for hours and you never feel that you're being rushed out of the place. Parking can sometimes be a pain though.. Definitely a winner!
Who would of thought you could get a burger this good in sunshine, last time I was getting robbed for $2 now there's this breath of fresh air. Went with the tropical and my mum the chicken little which looked about 10x better then the movie. The burnt toffee caramel milkshake best idea ever please go check these guys out freshest thing
I think Found 401 is a Sunshine gem. I had an amazing BBQ burger, the patty was juicy, the bun crunchy and soft on the inside, and not overly greasy. It was not to my surprise when I saw that they had won an award for the Top 10 burgers in Melbourne in 2016. My friend had the benedict fusion with chorizo and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Cons were I had been sitting there for 10 minutes for my friend, and not one staff greeted me or asked me if I wanted a menu. But aside from that, I think this place was awesome for good food at good prices. We will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic burger! I was so impressed. Having tried every other burger joint that delivers in the West, I'm blown away. If you want a quality burger delivered, don't skip past this. It's where it's at. Fries are okay; not my favorite style. Super crispy, yet fluffy on the inside. Many people love this style, but it's not personally for me. Still great quality nonetheless.

Not bad brunch for a local place close to home. Can't fault much except that they take way too long to clear up tables for next customers to sit.
Solid burgers and coffee for a solid price. Very close and central location if you live in Sunshine. They give you a nice generous serving of wedges here and is a very cosy place if you don't wanna travel too far for food.
I've been here twice and so far the food is always cooked fresh and delicious! Didn't give 5 star though as I remember my boyfriend having a bad customer service experience with one of the servers! I'm really glad that there is a delicious burger place readily available in my area.

We were excited to have a brunch and burger joint so close to home. The Avocado Smash ($13.50) was your basic avo smash but so much cheaper, winning!!! My cousins got their flagship burger, the 401 ($11.50). This was full of flavour and definitely a mouthful. Overall, Found 401 is a decent burger joint in the west side. While I wouldn't go here for brunch again (only because I'm spoilt for choice for dedicated brunch spots), they serve tasty burgers for great prices. It's cute and so central to the Sunshine main street. Service was pretty laid-back as you ordered at the counter.
Cute local hangout spot with mates. Staff are nice, coffee is great, especially their matcha latte! Their brunch is also decent, not the best I've had but worth checking out if you're around the area!

My first 5.0 RATING!! , I come here after a weekly lunch date with my besti, we have many Latte's . followed by pot's of herbal tea and cake, HIGHLY impressed not only with the friendly service but the beautiful presentation. Such a relaxing place, we sit there for hours and they don't mind at all. I am yet to have lunch there but I will keep you posted , just enjoying the scene right now.
Love this local gem! Been to found 401 a few times and enjoyed their burgers went recently for breakfast and was not disappointed the smashed avocado and poached eggs was delicious but the chai lattes are amazing! Would recommend found 401 for breakfast lunch or dinner!
Nice little place to chill out and relax at. Latte came in a double walled glass which meant it was hotter for longer... just be careful when taking your first sip because it's deceiving. Like, “I really shouldn't be complaining about a hot coffee being too hot but I actually burned my tongue” type deceiving.
I really enjoyed the new chicken burger from these guys. Good quality burger, amazing sauce and really well presented. The burgers are priced very well for the quality they serve.

Dead set best burgers in melbs. Makes big names like Mr Burger look like trash on a mouldy bun. If you think otherwise, you're wrong, and should be shot out of a cannon, into the sun. Add their dope ass chicken to any of their incredible beef burgers, with an extra slice of cheese for maximum pleasure.
Had the OG burger and must say it was a good burger...after ready a few reviews on this place, I made a special trip to finally get a taste myself...although the burger was good it didn't blow me away as I was hoping...would I come back again? Yes if I'm in the area but wouldn't do a special trip for it as there are a couple of western suburbs burger places ahead of this place...
I'm so happy there are places like 401 in Sunshine! I come here often with my folks for coffee and for the thick and chunky, hot and crispy chips. The burgers are great, too. A major deterrent for me however is the card minimum for purchases - that's enough to see me head a few doors down to the neighbour for a takeaway coffee. Can't wait to see business grow for this place. Yay for Sunshine!

Really great burgers. Nice easy menu. I love the soft bun and meat to bread ratio. Milkshakes are delicious and fun flavours with a lot to choose from. Casual dinning setting and fast service makes it really good for lunch as you can order and eat easily within an hour.
I have searched everywhere for good coffee in sunshine and have found my resting place - Found 401 has fantastic coffee. The burgers here are also amazingly tasty and so are the chips. Intend to try the breakfast sometime soon. I can be really fussy when it comes to burgers and coffee, but Found 401 tick all boxes. Helpful, friendly, customer focused staff here too. 5 out of 5.

Just amazing. A great little cafe in Sunshine that do awesome burgers. Went there yesterday after the suggestion of a couple of mates and tried their OG burger with added fried chicken and bacon. The burger was so full of flavour and the buns they used were very soft and fresh. The stand out was definitely the fried chicken though. I had dreams of its crunchy coating and juicy chicken. I'm already thinking about when I can get a chance to go again.
I've eaten here 3 times now, the burgers are always consistent, juicy and flavorsome. The staff friendly. Maybe a few more games to go around!
A friendly and simple layout of the cafe, which I enjoy it a lot. The cafe has board and car games on tables, so you can spend your quality waiting time playing some chess or poker with you friends :)
The outdoor area is nicely setup, I went around noon on a Thursday; it wasn't busy and you can definitely enjoy your tan.
I'm not the biggest coffee enthusiast, but it's safe to say I enjoy their coffee; I ordered a Chicken Burger and the waiting time is reasonable, although I did finish most my coffee before my food came out..what a shame.
Anyway, I enjoy the burger! And it's pretty good compare to other burger joints Ive tried, I definitely will recommend to try it out and see how it goes :)

Went with my family members. I got the 401 burger - the combination of ingredients was very good. That said, the meat patty was a bit dry and overcooked... Chips were really good. Would come by again.

My babes and I love our burgers; especially when they're done right! One sunny Wednesday, around mid-afternoon, we started feeling hungry for burgers and the closest place that we heard that served burgers around Sunshine is Found 401 Cafe on Hampshire Road.
We got to the cafe just before 2:30 so we just missed the lunchtime crowd and it was too early for the people who drop by for a bite after work. There were only about 4-6 other customers in the cafe at the time so we found a seat easily and got served pretty quickly. I was really hungry so I ordered the 401 Burger, my babes ordered a Bacon & Egg Burger and we shared a side of Chips. I didn't have a coffee yet so I ordered a hot Vietnamese Coffee and my babes ordered a Nutella Hot Chocolate for her drink. They only had a Vietnamese Ice Coffee on their menu so our waitress had to ask the barista if he could make a hot one which he replied that "of course he could". Very accommodating customer service is always a great sign for us but we hoped that their food would live up to it.
We got our drinks within a few minutes of sitting down. My Vietnamese Hot Coffee looked a little weird to me for some reason but as soon as I tasted it, I was in love! The unique sweetness of the condensed milk was at a perfect level and the coffee itself was strong but delicious! I'd have this coffee everyday if I could. My Babes Nutella Hot Chocolate was equally impressive! The hot chocolate was full of Nutella flavour that I was sure they'd mixed in some crushed hazelnut. We'd both definitely get these drinks again next time we visited but how were the burgers? It wouldn't take us long to find out because about 5 minutes later, the rest of our food was served.
Seeing the 401 Burger in front of me and I knew that I chose wisely! The burger looked like it just came out of an ad with the special sauce slowly dripping off the side of the perfectly cooked fried egg on top of the crispy bacon and melted American cheese on the homemade patty between the two soft white lightly grilled buns. It looked big but not too big as I was able to bite into it without having to deconstruct the burger. I absolutely loved it, especially how all the flavours were well balanced and combined well with every flavoursome bite.
My babes Bacon & Egg Burger looked very small but it ended up being the perfect size for my babes. The egg was a little overcooked, as the yolk wasn't runny, and the bun was a bit burnt but it didn't detract from the deliciousness of the crispy bacon and smokey BBQ sauce. My babes really enjoyed it and she said she would have it again on another visit.
The short, thick cut chips, which were served in a mini silver fryer basket, were perfectly cooked! Crunchy to bite into and no excess grease made these some of the best homemade chips we've had in a while.
Although there were a few small things that annoyed me, like the burnt bun or the weird looking coffee, I have to say that everything else, from the presentation to the flavour combinations, was pretty spot on! This was easily the best burgers we've had in Sunshine and I'd argue that the Found 401 Burger is one of, if not the best, burger I've ever had in the west! Highly recommended for any burger connoisseur looking for another great burger to try.
Definitely worth a check if you live in the western suburbs. The burgers are above average, chips weren't the greatest as they tasted a bit too deep fried for my liking. The vibe in the joint is very contemporary and I loved the chess and connect4 additions to the tables. Overall nothing special, but a nice addition to the growing Sunshine suburb.
After hearing good reviews from my fellow friends, I thought I came here to visit. Thankfully, I wasn't disappointed.
I got myself a Benedict fusion - a mix of beautifully poached eggs on top of slices chorizo with plentiful of hollandaise sauce. On the side I grabbed some wedges and a latte. The wedges were crisp to perfection with a satisfying price of $6. The latte on the other hand was slightly aromatic and had a lovely texture although made by bad quality coffee beans. The mug itself was not to my liking. Big and bulky which prevents this coffee loving person from feeling the pleasing warmth of a hot drink in this cold Melbourne winter.
An extra bonus is the board games available to play while waiting for your food. Times flies when you're having fun
Love the O.G burger! Great value and always tasty burgers. We usually grab takeaway but have eaten in and enjoyed it also. Added bonus are the opening hours.
Very quiet on a Sunday .. We had BBQ burgers and the OG. No complaints, although I think they should be served with chips. Teenagers loved the frappe's. Friendly and quick service. Great to see something new and nice in Sunshine 😊👍
Went on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. The wait was long - but once the food came out it was worth the wait. The chips were hot and each chip covered in batter with a delicious seasoning. The burgers were fresh with American cheese.
The iced chocolate was delicious including sundae ice cream in it!

3 of us ate in on Fri night. For all the hype this place has had, we were surprised how quiet it was. Come on people, support this place!! The area needs awesome new businesses like this. We had a BBQ and 401s. Great burgers. We were even talking the next day about how good the burgers were. Loved the herbage on the chips. The Hot Honey Lemon Tea was a nice change to coffee.
My friends and I tried Found 401 during their first couple of weeks of opening. We thoroughly enjoyed the burgers and thought it was a new late hangout joint in the Sunshine area. The burgers are relatively cheap. The plates are a bit annoying being heavy and big and service is minimum as you have to go to the counter to order and request more things etc. The chips were seasoned well and Oreo shake was sweet and tasty.
So over those plates. The cafe itself is neat, real gem in Sunshine. The burgers are great and considering the price, a total steal. Only had the O.G but thrilled to come back and try the rest.
Stopped by this place after work since it was right around the corner. Staff were quite welcoming and friendly. I love how they provide games to play while waiting for our food. We ordered the iced chocolate and Oreo frappe - the iced chocolate was very nice but the Oreo frappe lacked Oreo flavour. We also ordered the 401 and the tropical burger and they were both delicious! Definitely recommend this place if you're nearby 😊

Value for money!! Filling brunch meals at ~$10 as well as accommodating to vegetarians, this is my new fave brunch spot! Next I need to try their gorgeous desserts!
Their 401 burger was excellenteh, the egg added in add a reminiscing taste. Service is geniunely nice and I enjoy the small board games they provide. The chicken ribs are strangle salty but that is for some people's taste, you may enjoy salty food!
Found a new spot. There aren't a huge range of breakfast options in Sunshine, so the relatively new Found 401 is a good addition. It's also a favourite with the local constabulary whose station is across the road.
My avocado toast with eggs and baby spinach was good although the toast was on the dry and crunchy side. My friend's choice of the Found 401 baguette, available gluten-free, was a pair of open-faced protein-packed sandwich. She liked hers but found her toast underdone. Oh well - a minor issue for both of us. With a quality coffee and a T2 tea, the bill came to $33.50 before tip.
Service was eager if a little inexperienced but it's a casual place and it wasn't busy so this wasn't a big deal.
Flavours in the 401 classic was amazing , was well cooked and presented very nicely. Presentation is always a statement when it comes to food.
Good place to chill but the food and beverages was quite average. However, it is not awful and i do recommend people to try it. If you had better burgers elsewhere, you will understand what i mean.

never thought i could find such tasty burgers in melbournes west! the 401 burger was massive and tasty and very decently priced, you can never get anything as filling and not to mention yummy!! as the 401 elsewhere, the burger had the most perfected egg yolk, topped with caramelized onion, a tenderous quality beef patty, mesmerising american cheese, fresh salads annnnnd all this in between a japanese milk bun, you really can't go wrong. Me and my brother also got the chips and chicken ribs as our sides, mind you 5x yummy as chicken ribs for $6 yes please!!!! there was definitely effort put into the marination of these chicken ribs, it just wasn't your ordinary deep fried ones.. now to the chips... uhh-mazing!!!! you could not fault the well seasoned diamond cut chips. Overall my trip to found 401 was the first of many..this place is so cosy and cute with beautiful decor, i love their hours, music, atmosphere, friendly staff and most of all GREAT flavoursome food!!

Came here with my girlfriend for the first time and the food was great! We had a 401 burger and a 401 baguette, great presentation and a great environment too. Most importantly friendly customer service, and would definitely recommend this place to others.
Came here for lunch with friends, cute little place. Lovely furniture. Tried the burger and avocado smoothie which were delish. Also the chips were cooked nicely. Friendly staff. Close to home which is a huge plus- Sunshine needs more contemporary cafes
Coffee was bang on! Also a well practiced and perfect milk pour. When or if they start doing food, steak sand, calamari, chips, brunch type stuff I'll have found home. If they want my recipe for crepes I think this could be the go to place for many. I will be telling others and bringing friends. Check it out.

Ok it has been a while, do round 2. Coffee still high standard, tick. Food now available, had an Og burger, I don't even like burgers but this was a nice one. Partner had pouched eggs which she said were tasty, but the $3 extra for the mushrooms was a stretch. Maybe a couple more simple additions to the food if they are done well and I could well have a favourite in Sunshine

This is a decent little cafē, friendly staff, indoor and outdoor seating. Nice burgers, good coffee. Ambiance would be improved in my opinion, if the music wasn't just off a commercial radio station, loud commercials were an annoyance.
Went for lunch today, great selection of food, was delicious, staff made us feel really welcome. Good boardgames, will definitely be back
