The ambiance was great, food and drinks looked and tasted good. The share cocktail was very yummy although we did buy a couple of extra shots to put in as you couldn't really taste any alcohol. We enjoyed the music and the kids enjoyed playing a monster game of connect 4 at the table. All the cocktails flowing out of the bar looked amazing.

Hard to rate as the first half of our experience was great, we were a big party and the waitresses were attentive, drinks came quickly and we were constantly asked what we wanted next so we were never without a drink or food - service in general was good and waitress removed glasses and plates so decks were clear and clean.
Then there must have been a shift change as we waited an age for drinks, for some reason the new waitress didn’t go around the table but instead took singular drinks orders then disappeared and it felt like we were sat with nothing to drink for so long which killed the mood. We had to go and find someone to come and take our order and it was a complete change from what we’d experienced earlier.
So overall it’s 3 stars from me, food great, nice cocktails but service hit and miss! I don’t think I’d return to be honest.

This is a venue for families, friends, dates, parties, celebrations. Super service! Live music and on a rainy Wednesday, it lifts the spirits!
Our kids ate well, diving into the chicken parmigiana and a cheeseburger.
The drinks menu screams “party” and the Rhino lager is cheap and easy drinking.
The food menu is a list of crowd pleasers, you can’t go wrong. The chips (my personal benchmark) were crisp and hot.
What I liked best was that nothing (NOTHING) was a problem for any of the awesome, friendly, smiling staff who prepared a table outside for us when it looked like the weather was drying up, and then moved us inside when the rain came again.
If stuck, go here for a good time. If you’re not stuck, still come here!

Amazing food and drinks along with friendly and energetic service. We were there for a birthday and served by kate the whole nigh. She looked after us and catered to all our needs. Highly recommend this bar for a good time.

Charged 10 percent surcharge, which I wasn't aware of until I got home and decided to check my bill, I called and asked about it and was told it's because it's Sunday, no signage, wasn't told when I was ordering or when I paid. As someone who has works in hospitality venues, I know the law, you are required to clearly state any surcharge and the reason why, that didn't happen from start to finish, it's not on their website either. No face masks worn by the staff either! The food I would give 5 stars, well done kitchen and the server was nice too but the unexplained surcharge and the no mask wearing by the staff, NOT ONE I saw wearing one, is a massive turnoff. Word spreads quickly about venues that flaunt the rules, I guess they haven't taken that into account.

I had a lovely dinner there with a girlfriend visiting from Sydney last week. The food was exceptional, the decor was lovely, the service was friendly and attentive, and the staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. My only criticism is that the wine list is very expensive, but that seems par for the course these days. I would definitely return

A frequent customer of this restaurant. Always great live music but can be too loud sometimes, good atmosphere. Food is 50/50, sometimes it’ll be great, sometimes it’ll be average, choose wisely. Fishbowls are all ice and only for show, recommend getting a normal cocktail instead. Service is good, staff are always friendly.

Don’t bother with this place. I’m really disappointed, having arrived at midday for a cider, we noticed the cool happy hour advertisement: 50% off drinks between 4pm-6pm. We decided to come back at 4pm and have a couple of rounds. Hours passed and we got back to the bar at 3:58pm, ordered our drinks and had them made (two cocktails took some time) and placed in front of us at 4:05pm. We were charged the full amount for both drinks. Not 50% off. Perhaps because we arrived at the bar two minutes before 4pm? Which seems silly considering they weren’t actually made until after 4pm. That isn’t good enough. After those two drinks we left and did not have anymore. Sorry white rhino, but you lost some customers with that effort.

This is an awesome place .. My partner and I walked past this restaurant a few times before he suggested that we go there for dinner while on our short trip to the Gold Coast .. we were not disappointed! Beautiful layout and atmosphere. Super friendly staff and absolutely delicious food. We had the baked meatballs for entree which was baked in a tomato based sauce and covered with cheese, they were fantastic and full of flavour. My partner ordered Moreton bay bug pizza which he loved while I ordered steak, green veg and truffle mash which was just perfect. A must go to if your staying in the Gold Coast!!! We will definitely be returning.

This place has such a great layout, with the ability to sit indoors or outdoors. I decided to have an espresso martini my fav and a burger. The burger was so tasty and the chips were perfectly crispy. I would definitely come back here again. The staff were also very friendly.
