Review Tribeca Nyc - Surfers Paradise

This was a very good restaurant. The atmosphere was good. Service was very good. Staff were knowledgeable and inattentive. The food was reasonably priced for what we got. For starters we had Louisiana wings which were quite nice abit on the vinegary side but still good. For mains ribs, sliders, and steaks. The ribs were falling of the bone yet slightly dry. The sauce was on the ribs at the top but not blending with the ribs. The sliders were the highlight for my friend especially the cheese burger. The steaks were ok, my friend was not pleased with the mustard mash potato and salad. The dessert brownies were the highlight of the evening. Just exceptional 😍. Everyone on the table loved them.

We booked for 2 people just at the start of dinner time through Opentable so we didn’t have to wait :) Their service was excellent and the atmosphere of the restaurant was exactly what we wanted. We went on Friday so we had the special Rib Fillet with Lobster Tail with really lovely drinks ❤️ The food was terrific and I loved how fresh all the ingredients were! Back home now, far away from Surfers Paradise but would love to visit here again.

We had a great time at Tribeca NYC tonight. Their ribs Wednesday is a great meal with your choice of pork or beef short ribs with chips, salad and a drink for $30. We went for one of each ribs to share. They were delicious with the meat very tender and falling off the bone. The bbq sauce was a nice sweet bbq sauce with tones of thyme coming through which really worked wonderfully with the ribs especially the beef short ribs. I would say these would rate as the best ribs I've had in Australia. If your in town on a Wednesday do yourself a favour and go and get some ribs.

Had breakfast and the food was delicious. The staff are very kind and accomodating. Would definitely come back to try their lunch menu

Really nice meals and drinks but the standout feature was the service. The mark of a great establishment isn't how perfect everything is, but how well you fix it when it isn't quite up to scratch. Well done guys! Highly recommended

Meh. Service was good. Food was a bit sloppy and small portions. Seating area on the pavement so some seats are very close pedestrians walking past and the noise of cars. This place has a lot of 5-star reviews which makes me wonder if they are legit. Not a place I would return to regularly.

Beautiful fresh food great place to enjoy a wine while sitting outside or inside as the decor is amazing and it’s nice and close to Surfers.

Amazing food and Amazing service. The jalapeno sausage is a must have! One of the best coffees I've ever had as well. Will definitely be back next time I'm near the gold coast.

Been there for breakfast on holidays for 2 days in a row. Food is fantastic. Coffee is fantastic and service is fantastic. The people working there are all very friendly. They are also very kid friendly. As soon as we arrived both mornings, my 2 boys were welcomed with icy water in plastic cups. They were also very accomodating to their menu with 1 of my fussy kids. On holidays we normally like to try different cafes each day but we've found a great place to try different menu items each day.

Tonight I took the inlaws to Tribeca NYC and it totally lived up to my expectations! The staff were so friendly and accommodating for all including my 2 year old � they even went out of their way to find a match box Car for him to play with which totally won him over! I tried an espresso martini for the first time and OMG! Yum! Followed by a delicious entree of garlic bread then followed by our mains. Everything was spot on � even the presentation was 110%..! it’s an absolute credit to the owners and the staff, what a great place! I might even pop back for coffee before I venture home! Thank you, we will be back �

Tribeca far exceeded my expectations - a quick turn around on meals, but this didn't sacrifice the quality. A great atmosphere, amazing customer service and one of the best burgers I've ever dug myself into. If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would!

This place is AMAZING! Great food, welcoming friendly atmosphere and staff. Service was quick. Cakes were just to good not to have. Best tacos I've ever eaten. Will defiantly be going back. A lovely family run business with fantastic customer service.

Don't come here if you have allergies to food. You tell staff and the staff tell you that the food if fine for you to eat and you end up sick for the rest of your night. Not worth it.

After hearing such good things about this restaurant we finally decided to give it a try. We took my stepson out for his 21st for dinner and ended up so disappointed. Had reservations for 7 30, got there early, got seated, checked over the menu and ordered. Our appetisers finally came out at 8:15 and there was only ordered 2...Then the wait was on for our mains, now granted we were told there would be a bit of a wait as there was a large party there, that was fine. But...when the 4 people at the table beside you turn up at 8, order and receive their meals, ( which are the same meals we ordered minus a burger and sliders) and they receive them BEFORE we even get our appetisers its very infuriating (It was obvious they were friends of one of the wait staff). When we finally did get our meal, they actually forgot my daughters order and by the time she got her burger, we had all finished our meals. They did comp her meal, but honestly, despite the fact that the food was good I dont think I would ever eat there again.

My husband and I went on a Wednesday night, with is they're special ribs night ($25 for the pork ribs and chips). The ribs were succulent and the marinate was finger-licking good. Amongst the array of other dishes we tasted the pork ribs really stood out. The staff were very friendly and food came out in a timely manner. I would definitely go here again.

The ribs were on special and they proved a real treat. The meat just fell off the bone. Succulent sauce. Received great table service from Lily. Will definitely be going back.

Wife loved the coffee!! Beef burger was faultless! One of the best I've ever had and the kids loved their pancakes!! Well worth checking out!

Came here for lunch & need to come in for breakfast. Heard wonderful things about the pancakes. The ribs were absolutely freaking tasty! Not too much sauce. Portion a little smaller than I would have liked. Drinks are reasonably priced. We left happy, not hungry. Thanks!

Wednesday Night is the rib special - $20 for ribs and chips. Great value for this deal as you get about 8 ribs and it’s good for solo or to share. <br/><br/>The ribs were okay - the meat fell off the bone but I did find the meat quite chewy. The bbq sauce is plentiful (great) and really tasty. <br/><br/>I think the attraction at Tribeca is the burgers though. I tried the Chicken burger and that was delightful. They only have a small selection of burgers though. <br/><br/>The restaurant is nice. I like the atmosphere and staff were okay.

Staff are friendly without being intrusive. Ribs were tasty with plenty of sauce. Owned by some young brothers - definitely worth showing your support to them

Very friendly waitstaff and excellent service, Ribs were great, right amount of spice and sauce. I do some low and slow bbqing at home so have some experience in what makes good ribs and these were good ribs! Decor reminds me of some of the places we visited whilst in NYC, spot on!

Sirloin of liberty was outstanding, my partner had the lobster tail, all I need to say is do yourself a favour and visit here! perfectly cooked medium rare steak, awesome service too!

Gorgeous hon 👅 After finishing my checkup at Chevron Medical across the road, we were feeling ready for brunch 👨🏽‍⚕️🥘 It was a choice between Chevron Social or Tribeca. Absolutely no regrets choosing Tribeca ✔️ The food, interior and service were all flawless ➕➕➕ I had the pork hash which came with a selection of sautéed veges, avocado, bacon and the most sublime hash. I was a bit concerned originally. There was so much sauce I thought the hash would be soggy and fall apart BUT it did not, it’s structural integrity was very solid. Bae had a sausage and egg thing (basić) and that looked ok too. Coffee was good 👌🏻 Would return 💯

Very poor service, waited 15 minutes to be offered drinks. Food was average but wait time was in acceptable. If I have to wait over 55 minutes for my food when you aren't busy then why is your chef out the front chatting to friends instead of cooking my food. Rib portion was very small for the money and not as good as some other local chains. Wry diss appointed considering the expectation.

Came here for brunch and absolutely loved it! The Acai bowl and baked eggs were fantastic. Everything was just done right. Awesome food and concept behind this place.

The mussels are excellent! Definitely ask for extra bread to soak up the broth. The cocktails r good, but the TriBeCa sour isn't sour at all

We came in for dinner and drinks last Saturday night, after having lunch here the week before. There is a special attention to detail in the decor, with a cosy atmosphere inside. Service is fast and friendly, while the food is fresh, well-presented and reasonably priced. Pictured is the blueberry bacon & blue cheese salad with fried chicken, the calamari salad and the chocolate mud-cake.  Would recommend trying this place out!

The cocktails and the tacos are spot on - exactly what you want. The buffalo crab Mac and cheese was not very good mac and cheese, from an American diner I expect more. Come for the tacos!

Amazing. One of the best experiences I have had in the Gold Coast for a while. <br/><br/>My wife and I had an early dinner with our three young children. The staff were great with the kids and immediately related to them, as well as were great servers.<br/><br/>We had a number of shares plates and all were amazing. Fresh and tasty. Dessert was very tasty and the coffee after also great. <br/><br/>We will defiantly be going back to this Resturant.

The food was divine. The ribs fell off the bone, the sauce was delicious and not too heavy and the meat was very tender and flavoursome!<br/><br/>The sandcrab mac and cheese (no blue cheese on request) was a delicious surprise with lots of crab and a nice spicy kick to it!<br/><br/>The Texan's brother burger was solid with nice crispy bacon. <br/><br/>All three dishes highly recommended.<br/><br/>But what was even more wonderful was the service! Friendly staff that engaged in genuine conversation. Etch the owner walked over for a chat. Just a great friendly vibe. <br/><br/>Will definitely go back

Myself and a girlfriend are always looking for some where new and different to go to dinner and we were not disappointed, we both walked away gob smacked with how amazing the food was and how affordable as well. We shared a few different dishes and fell involve. the atmosphere was very inviting and the staff were very friendly. Our drinks and food did not take long at all to get to our table either . Would recommend here to everyone. :)

The food was tasty. It was on the expense side but worth it. The staff was friendly and helpful. Go before happy hour to get some great cocktails. In all the whole experience was memorable and worth it.

As an American I have high standards of what American food should taste like (yes, I realise how American that sounds) and this place nearly met my expectations. For breakfast and lunch, I wish the bagels (the bread part, not the filling) tasted better, the flavour of them just isn't quite right but they're tasty nonetheless. Dinner was as unhealthy as you would think American food would be but there are salads on the menu for the health conscious. Great service as they messed up our order and brought us a hot dog in addition to the burgers we ordered. Unlike so many restaurants on the coast, they didn't take the wrong plate away only to be thrown away, they left it with us. I thought that was a nice touch.

Went in on a Sunday night with a booking for two. For drinks, we tried an espresso martini since it was happy hour and a few drinks were on special. For mains, we got the bopper burger and the soft shell crab taco. Both are really tasty and a good serving size; I preferred the tacos among the two mains we ordered. Then we shared a NYC cheesecake...which was light and creamy. The service was good and friendly. I wouldn't mind returning to try breakfast or lunch :)

Flawless service & food, and a cool fit out. We were at the coast for a weekend trip & liked this place so much we went twice! I had the babe breakfast & my partner had the fourth avenue. The next time we had the acai bowl, Bircher & banana bread. Would definitely make the trip from Brisbane for this place. I think my partner was also quite taken by the American sport playing in the background!

A first timer to american cuisine, I was pleasantly surprised by the warmly-lit cozy interior of this New York-inspired establishment. Though Tribeca appears somewhat unassuming in it's location on Chevron island, the restaurant is filled with diners even on a Thursday night (a good indication to me!) Nonetheless, our friendly waiter swiftly escorted us to a back corner of the restaurant and made room for our table. To most succinctly describe the food here would be New York classics with a twist- you'll find all the burger, rib, taco and hot dog varieties you can imagine all taken up a notch by quality execution and generous serving sizes. In the end, we opted for the classic mac and cheese, loaded fries, soft-shell crab and NY BBQ beef ribs. (Yes, all very Instagram-worthy for those who take photos of their food and #foodporn). In short, this is the kind of restaurant I would recommend to my friends but not my acquaintances. There are only so many tables..

This place is splendid. It's our last day on the Gold Coast, and what a better way to end it with yummy breakfast and pristine customer service. Thank you to Shannon for making the breakfast experience so enjoyable. His mother Carolyn at the front making coffee was just as lovely and welcoming. If I'm ever near surfers, I'll know where to go for breakkie. <br/>This place really feels like you're on the set of cheers (but the modern version of), and has that real New York vibe.<br/>The food is great and really well priced. <br/>We ordered: eggs and bacon, chia and raspberry pudding and coffee ofcourse. This is why you eat out. It's all about the experience, and this is what Tribeca does best. A really enjoyable dining experience.<br/>

Great breakfast and brilliant, friendly service that just lets you relax. Able to just sit on the kerb, enjoy the neighbourhood and soak up the sunny morning. Would highly recommend whether you're a local or visitor to the GC!

The best experience I have had in a long time at a restaurant. I went with a girlfriend last night for the first time based on a recommendation from a couple of friends. We each had the Lychee Martini and the Midtown Chicken, omg, sensational. I can't wait to go back and try more off the menu. We would have stayed longer, but we had to go to a show (great location to the Art's Centre!). Waiters were extremely attentive and the food and cocktails were quick (without sacrificing taste!).

Went here for breakfast. We both got meals that we enjoyed. The way the bread is done is a bit dicky to eat, however still tastes good. Bacon they only use rind, which is not my thing. A good way of making dish cheaper I guess?<br/><br/>Came again for lunch with kids. Didn’t want to big a meal with Kookoo’s planned for dinner. Funky little restaurant. Great menu. Started with garlic bread and fries. Simple. I had two tacos. Both delicious and delivered in spades!

It was a busy Saturday night and i was lucky to have being seated at their only available table at that time. Nice atmosphere and full house. Many staffs to attend to the many patrons-thumbs up! The decor is clean and funky, definitely a stand out in the Chevron Island city Centre. Oh do check out their restroom! <br/><br/>Their menu is extensive which made it tough to decide. I ordered their recommended hotdog and the calamari entree. Hoping to squeeze in a pecan pie (recommended by the couple next to my table ) unfortunately i was wayyy tooooo full. I might head in again this morning before my flight! !<br/><br/>Food is good and definitely a must visit. I've heard locals talk about this restaurant and glad i gave it a go. Unfortunately traveling solo means i can't try too many of the dishes -next time! :) <br/><br/>Thank you Tribeca NYC for a good experience. Keep doing what you do!!

Awesome place! These guys have nailed it from the food, decor, service snd drinks! If you love New York and especially American food you will love Tribeca NYC! It's Crazy busy so make sure you book as its booked out ever night! You must try the ribs.. OMG the best ribs you will ever eat! I've eaten Ribs all over Australia and the states and these are the best ribs I've ever eaten! All my mates say the same thing.. The best ribs ever!!!! Great selection of dessert, wine and cocktails, the staff are all excellent.. Highly recommend to anyone!

We had heard so much about Tribeca. We had to wait 15 mins for a table but as soon as we were seated we felt welcome. Loved the food and will be back.

Partner and I went here last night could not fault it excellent service the ribs were cooked perfectly and had that chicken tenders with all the sauces for a starter both dishes were perfect will definitely be back

It's all about the burgers here. The fries are great too... But the burgers are well thought out. We had the Barramundi burger and the soft-shell crab burgers. Reasonably large servings for the price. Both came with a lemon wedge and a chunk of pickled cucumber. Lots of flavor and texture, firm structure and manageable with both hands... Just don't put it down... Once you take a bite consider yourself committed for the next 5mins at least.

We have been meaning to try Tribeca for ages & we are so glad we called in for lunch today.<br/>We were warmly welcomed and seated by one of the owners & settled in with water & menus.<br/>There are so many tempting options on offer & we were really happy with our choices. Cuban sandwich for him & soft tacos for me (one chicken, one beef, with coleslaw & guacamole.) Both really delicious & a good size for a light lunch. (we also enjoyed the big side of chips & aioli!!)<br/>The restaurant is beautifully fitted out, though reasonably small - we have missed out on dining there a couple of times due to not booking well in advance.<br/>Something that makes this place special is the outstanding, friendly service from the owners & all other wait staff we have had contact with there. They really seem to care that you should have an excellent visit. Well done.<br/>There are so many things on the various menus which we can't wait to try, but as we've learnt, you really should book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Really good little cafe, staff seemed genuinely invested in finding a suitable alternative when they were out of acai. Food was great with large servings, cool decor and friendly staff.

Came across this gem while searching for a brunch venue. It stood out amongst a sea of run-of-the-mill looking breakfast joints offering your standard eggs/bacon/toast type options, sometimes at rather high prices. Tribeca offers food with a New York flavour, at quite reasonable looking prices, and with a friendly smile. I enjoyed my Hey Debo bagel, while the wife had a Gordon Gecko eggs benedict with smoked salmon. I think I got the better deal in terms of portion. We also had some drinks and got a blueberry bagel for the toddler, which he enjoyed with the jam and cream cheese. Definitely on my list for a return visit, and I'm especially keen to try out their lunch and/or dinner menu given my good impression from this breakfast visit.

Great place to visit. Great food, great vibe. Service was excellent. Very much like a place you would have a meal in North America. Ribs were very good as were the wings and tacos. Finished the night off with Key Lime pie which is exactly how I remember it in the states.

Best pork ribs EVER. This has it all, entree main desserts can't go wrong. All the other USA style restaurants are taking the piss in comparison. Ribs easy best i've had in australia, reminds me of legit texas ribs. Service is great, drink selection amazing. Good family owned and run business which has a great vibe.

Frustrating Service. I phoned ahead this morning to check if they were still making their bagels. Spoke to the owner on the phone who stated that yes they make the bagels all day. Perfect. We live in the neighbourhood so went straight over to order. When we got there we were told by staff that the kitchen was closed and that there was nothing they could offer us. Out of frustration I phoned the owner back again to tell him what just happened and he said the kitchen would only have been closed for 15 minutes while they were changing between breakfast and lunch. I expressed the point that no one bothered to inform us of this, and that had we known we would have most likely waited. All we got was a "sorry" from the staff and no mention of a solution to the problem (i.e. waiting 10 minutes). The owner on the phone didn't offer any solutions. IF you have an all day menu then this should be available ALL DAY. Changing between menus should not affect your easy to prepare items. Totally frustrated and a waste of our time this morning.

Awesome East Coast menu, infused with other American favourites. Be sure to check out the bagels for breakfast and sticky finger ribs.

Birthday. I just want to share with everyone how fabulous the food and service was for my husbands birthday the 14/2/15.<br/>The staff went out of their way for everything. Consistently bad service. Food good but service is poor. Have been 5 plus times since opening as I'm a local on Chevron Island and each time the service has been poor. Making your customers feel like they are invisible is not the best way to win repeat business. Serious improvement required ... Being a new business will only cut you slack for so long

Best wings I've had in a QLD restaurant. Cuban Pulled Pork sandwich was excellent, gluten free brownie sensationally good and service top notch. As an American living here this place really hits the spot. I'll be back.

Served with a side of slaw and Parmesan fries, the ribs are tender and melt in your mouth delicious – an awesome feed. Tribeca NYC is a dining drawcard Chevron Island has needed.
