The atmosphere and staff are amazing. We were very well looked after the whole night with a large table, the drinks are amazing and the food is mouth watering. Huge shout out to Madeline, the best wait staff person I have ever met. Definitely my new favorite place �

Customer service was on point! They didn’t have the beer I was after, but there’s backup after backup choices. I didn’t go thirsty! Food was tasty. Had the snitty. Usually I ask for extra gravy but not here, you get plenty! Chips platter is awesome! Highlight - enormous fairy floss leaving me on a sugar high for the next 3 days. Definitely returning!
We joined the mid afternoon and early evening drinkers at House of Brews. They have an impressive selection of boutique beers from around Australia and we found the best way to taste was to start with a beer paddle and get a sample. The beer paddle let’s you sample 6 of your choice from their 28 beer range and once you’ve tried those 6 your tasting come with a schooner of your beer of choice. Was a fun way to try a variety and was surprised by some different tasting ales. The staff were super friendly and clearly there were regular locals in there. Happy hour started at 4pm and the food looked delicious with the biggest trio of sliders I have ever seen.
I love how many options this place has for drinks. Lots of beers and cocktails to offer. We ordered a watermelon cocktail and also a cotton candy cocktail. Both were unique and cute and delicious.

Went to this place on hubby recommendation. Tried their super popular cocktail purple haze and above the clouds... After all the show around the cocktails (smoke and candy floss) have to say their cocktails were super tasty and actually did have alcohol.... The food was OK....
So if looking for a nice and tasty cocktail, this place warrants a visit...

Absolutely loved this place. Great central location. Had soo many fun, interesting and exciting drink options. The place was buzzing. Great indication that this was the place to be. I also loved the unwanted attention sign found in the ladies bathroom. Nice to know that they go above and beyond like that. Would definitely go back.

Beer lovers paradise - a massive 32 craft beers on tap! A cool spot for a catch up and a feed, with fast and friendly service. If you're feeling chatty might want to grab a spot outside, inside can get loud.
Loved their $5 house beer .. amazing friendly staff .. we also ordered cocktails, I must say fancy glasses .. loved they fairy floss 💖 it’s was right opposite to our hotel .. ordered sweet potato chips and buffalo wings ( very spicy ) - but loved the spicy food with the beer .. cheers
We just dropped by for few drinks after the dinner on our first night in Gold Coast . The ambience and service was pretty good. The cocktails were very creative and the presentation was great. The beer selection was huge too. In all a good place to go out for drinks late night.

Could not fault this restaurant, the service food and drink was all amazing! Had dinner and drinks downstairs and then went to the rooftop terrace for some drinks after was so lovely! Our waitress was Shenae, she was so lovely and accommodating!
Went here for NYE with friends at it was a huge success. Food, service, ambience and overall experience was faultless. The burger and ribs I had (yes 2 main meals for me) were amazing. Ribs fell off the bone, and burger to die for. 30+ Craft beers to try, we had the 6 x 90ml Beer paddle sampler which was fun to taste! Kids were all happy with there $15 kids meal. This restaurant is a must to try!

Cocktails- wide range and amazing presentation. They taste pretty amazing too. The usage of dry ice in the tray when drinks are served adds to the mystical fairy-tail like look, which is interesting. Prices are affordable depending on they type of cocktail.
Beer- they’re famous for this (not in attached pictures). There’s over 20 types available on tap. The beer tower is pretty staggering, standing at around 2L tall. Not for the faint hearted. Price depending on type of beer.
Food- good range and big portion. They have the option of swapping ordinary fries with sweet potato fries! It came out a little soggy but still tasted great. Would recommend trying the salad as the bowl is edible as well!
Desserts-They’re famous for the 2 meter tall cotton candy serve in a huge wineglass (a definite sugar rush after that!). Coco pops served in a flashing skull with raspberry coulis tasted ordinary but impressive presentation. The huge cookie with chocolate chips is in the menu as well.
Ambience- loud music and noisy crowd especially the rooftop area. Not recommended for a date night unless you want to be shouting the whole night to the other party! Very friendly and helpful staff though. Thumbs up!
We really enjoyed beer tasting here! We really enjoyed the pale ales but personally not a big fan of the bitter beers. Loved the apple cider x Good place to chill and hangout x They also have live music here.
Amazing selection of beers from all over the country. Loved the loaded fries delicious. Service was very good also. Would recommend for lunch or dinner or to start your night.

The menu was great i ordered Rib eye steak cooked to perfection and all my friends were very happy.
The best part of the night was the cocktails, such cool ideas my friends had jungle juice with flashing green skulls and dry ice and all others were cool too.
Overall very great night and price was suprisingly cheap after we split the bill definitely will go back :)
Excellent meal, had the Big BBQ Plate and was the best food we've had in a long time, especially the beef brisket. Great range of alcoholic drinks and cool presentation.

Loved this place, absolutely lovely staff. The food arrives in literally 10 seconds once the order is placed. So if you're starving, this is the place to be. We ordered Spicy Wings and The Shared platter (I think that's what its called) came with onion rings, bruschetta, 2 tacos and salad. Was really good. The only down side was, I prefer soft tacos not hard and I didnt have an option here.
Lots to drink, we tried some of the craft beers they brew themselves, turned out to be pretty good (dont ask me the name) just tell the staff what you usually drink (Carona, Peroni etc) and they will suggest a nice brewed equivalent ✌🏽
Such a great place for food and drinks. The amazing cocktails were a hit with the Date With Destiny group! Friendly staff were lovely to us but you must make a reservation as it is very popular for obvious reasons. The rooftop bar was another bonus!!!

What a place highly recommend heading into House of Brews for a cold one and some of their out of the world cocktails but what will blow you away is the food definitely a favourite for us

House of brews definitely has a good range of beers on tap and some gorgeous cocktail menu! Even the food department is exciting with items like "onion ring tower"!
However, the menu is small! So, it does give you good options, but a fee options!!
The good thing about this place is that it serves food till late hours even during weekdays...while all other restaurants stopped serving food @10 this restaurant saved our day..we ordered a chefs special salmon, peri peri burger and a melted cookie...the food and the beer was nice...the staff is very friendly and it was fun to be there...
I love this place and always make it a point to come here when on the Goldie. Have never eaten here until this trip and bloody delicious burgers. Craft beer in spades so you can see why I love it
House of Brews was a lot of fun even on a Monday evening in Gold Coast! Which in itself is a compliment, they have more than 20 house brewed beers with a lot of variety in the alcohol section. The chicken wings are worth the money but he Vegetarian burger was a disappointment, it wasn't worth 21$ and the pumpkin tasted really bad. We got the 2.5L tower of the home speciality house brewed beer for only 6$ per person which was a steal deal. Overall it was a more than average experience
My partner and I ate here on our last night in the Gold Coast. I had a Lychee & Rose martini and the 1/2 rack of sticky bbq ribs. The ribs were delicious, the mojito slaw that came with it was quite bland with no dressing. The martini was amazing and beautiful decorated. My partner had the Mexican parmy which he said was really good too. They also have an awesome craft beer selection. Would definitely come back next time we're in the Gold Coast!
Went here for dinner and drinks. The cocktails were AMAZING! And a wide variety of beers as well. Food was great, overall it's was an enjoyable experience. I'll be going Back for a few drinks again for sure.
If you love beer, look no further. They have the best, most diverse selection of tap beers on the coast in my opinion. New kegs are tapped frequently and there's usually good live music on. Plus the buffalo wings are actual buffalo wings with the proper sauce. Great auto morpheme as well.
Great place to get a beer (huge selection). Good live music, which I think there needs to be more of around the coast. Average meals, a little too oily for the order of onion ring stack and my friend said the same for his parmigiana.
I tried their cocktails (I think it was called "cloud" or something similar) and was taken back by the over the top presentation but was let down by the flavour. I would say the presentation is to get people instagramming the place. With that said, most people might enjoy the cocktails, but the staff aren't mixologists, so to speak.
Definitely stick to tasting the wide range of beers and you'll have a great time - hence the name!
We were a party of 4. All on our table had a great experience. Service was great, we were not forgotten (thanks Amanda). Food was great (burgers and sliders) and the choice of beers was amazing! We went with a couple of towers (I think 2.5L each) so we could pour our own beer.
We were sitting out the front people watching, so many people. It was a fun night and will definitely be going back!
Grab a spot at the bar overlooking Orchid Avenue to crowd watch as you eat and chat. It’s the perfect place to catch up with friends after work or to grab some lunch on the weekend. Inside, the venue has dining tables and comfortable booths for small groups, with the only rooftop cocktail bar in Surfers Paradise open in the evenings. While many of House of Brews’ customers will be eager to try the range of craft beer, it’s accompanied by a share menu to soak it up with traditional American BBQ flavours: Buffalo wings, sticky BBQ ribs, pork rind, a variety of sliders and an onion ring volcano tower dripping with truffle cheese sauce. Mains of parmigiana, brisket and a large range of burgers will satisfy the larger appetite.
We had dinner booked for 7pm & ordered the following: Classic burger, Southern fried chicken burger, Veggie corn pizza, Pear goat cheese salad & Cheesy garlic bread.
Food was delicious. The burgers are over sized. Classic burger comes with 2 beef patties. The veggie pizza is nice and lite. You easily eat the whole pizza on your own. We ordered an Above the clouds cocktail which comes with a side of dry ice as a gimmick. A bit sour for my liking, but partner drank it & liked it. Also ordered a jam donut shot (not pictured) which was delicious. Service was quick. I don’t understand why a water jug can’t be left on the table. Had to ask for top ups a few times. It’s annoying & I think also wastes the waitress’ time, when we could easily pour it ourselves. You have the option to pay upfront or they hang onto your card & then pay at the end.
We have been to the House of Brews three times during our stay in the Gold Coast.
Each time it has been great. Friendly staff, great cleanliness and a feeling of being safe. The staff remembers us on next few visits.
The staff all seemed happy to be there and worked well together.
The cocktails are fantastic. The tasting paddle was a hit with my husband and father in law. We loved the shared watermelon cocktail.
The first day we made the mistake of ordering two tasking plates! They are HUGE! And really well done. Nice quality. One was enough to feed a family of four (note we have two hangry teenagers). It is great value for money. Sorry I forgot to take a photo of them.

One of my favourite venues on the Gold Coast and a regular. A huge range of really good craft beer on tap, cocktails are great and the food is perfect for the style of venue. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Would 100% reccomend going here on your travels.
American style eatery and bar with gigantic portions - both for the alcohol and the food. Not a bad thing as both the pulled pork and steak was better than expected. The steak was cooked to medium rare perfection!
An amazing place to eat. The prices are so reasonable and the serving sizes are ridiculous! We bought the hallumi sticks the pretzel, the crispy salmon, Al fungi, the kids burger, tasting board lazy Susan, and our drinks....nothing could be faulted....except our service person @Aary 😜 who was just wonderful! Gorgeous young lady and very knowledgeable. The girl has basically had everything on the menu (drinks and food!) She was on point with everything she suggested and said. Look no further for great service and value for money! Not one dish was disputed among the group.
