Small coffee shop centrally located under the Soul Building. Coffee was great, and the Almond Croissant was very fresh . Place was very busy at 7.30 in the morning, but staff were pleasant and efficient.

Takeaway a cup of decafe latte ☕️ because it's not the first time I've visited, I'm impressed that the coffee is good. So took my friend to taste. I was looking forward to it and finally disappointed. the result is like drinking diluted milk, although Decafe but the taste of coffee is very light, milk taste is also very light. It could be an occasional mistake.

I’m a very fussy coffee drinker. Couldn’t fault these guys they made it just the way I like and service was pretty quick and with a smile. I discovered them the last day of my trip, kinda wish I found them sooner. The only thing I wish is that they had a medium size cup (they only do large and small).

Brilliant.
Go regularly from Brisneyland all the way to the coast with a stop in as a highlight of the trip.
THAT'S how good the coffee, service, location and experience all are.
Won't single out any staff, as they are all so accommodating and thus far, unfaltering.
Oh...and dig music. They have great taste in that too.
Cost wise... great, as the options on milk are no extra charge (or only 50c)
Either way, better than many others.

Excellent coffee. In front of surfers beach... staff were friendly and nice to our little dogs so we decided to take seat.. seems like dog friendly cafe.. I loved their coffee, honestly, I think one of the best coffee I have ever had.. (my partner said coffee was weak even he got double shots in small take away so I guess you might need to get 3 shots if you love strong one!) we will be back when we go to Gold Coast 😆 thank you!

One of my go to coffee places in Surfer's. Love the hipster vibe and commitment to coffee. It's a teeny tiny space so there isn't much opportunity to sit down for brunch. The menu is small but on point. They have a great selection of pastries and toasties.

Great location still however. <br/><br/>Review 25/6/16<br/>Must be the number 1 coffee in Surfers Paradise. I know this is not saying much - but this place would do well in Melbourne. Quality coffee made well. They stick to what they know and clearly recruit good baristas. Location is perfect. Let's hope this one stays around.

Great coffee and small selection of tasty bites to go with. You're at surfers and need a coffee? Then come here. Some local artisan pastries might tempt you and you'd be wrong to not buy. <br/>Sit on one of the lovely benches across the road, right on the beach, under pandanus trees with coffee and treats and you'll regret nothing.

As a Melbourne girl I am always steeling myself for sub-par coffee when I'm away from home, but these guys nailed my morning fix... Thank you!!! Pastries were all top-shelf also. Skip your expensive and crappy hotel buffet and grab breaky to eat on the promenade with these guys!

Amazing coffee. Best we've had on the Gold Coast so far. Went here with my family for a quick caffeine hit - we ordered flat whites, an iced coffee and a cold drip. Everyone loved theirs, amazing flavor. ESPl coffee make their own grind which you can buy in bags also. Just be aware it is more of a takeaway coffee location, they do have seats but they are limited. If in Surfers again I would go back.

I only went in for a coffee (which was average) but was happily surprised to find that they sold these Nutella stuffed donuts. They are delicious! Great way to get your sugar fix. Coffee came out promptly. And service was alright too

Drink a coffee like a beer! We saw this cafe by chance. It's a small nice cafe in the busy place. Just stop by, have a bottle of iced coffee and enjoy your summer. Love the ice cream sandwich, a bit cheaper would be perfect though.

Very close to Cavil Ave and right on the beach front. We only had Coffee there each morning but it is a great place to chill on a beautiful sunny morning sipping some great coffee and watching people pass. The coffee is great, well worth finding this little gem.

Just off the frontage of the Esplanade in a tiny shop front with communal tables. Popular with regulars (mostly take-aways) and tourists equally. Menu features simple coffees, snacks and meals and the cafe theme is fresh, and environmentally sustainable. The young friendly, cheerful, efficient and unflappable barista is kept busy, but the wait is well worth it. The espresso features a dense crema highlighting zesty fruit, good acid balance, no trace of bitterness and a hint of natural caramel sweetness. A fountain offers carbonated, filtered and chilled water available in recycled glass bottles or by the glass. This is an eco-friendly establishment with an emphasis on friendly service, quality and value in a light, cheerful locale.

Very flavorsome coffee, strong, aromatic, fluffy and just great! Pretty good location and obviously quite busy on a Saturday. Service was fast and staff was friendly, definitely one of my top choices for coffee in Surfers!

How did I miss it. A lazy Sunday drove me to the esplanade as it usually does. Dire need of a coffee had me seeking shops without queue. Initially I thought Espl. Coffee was new, but a word with the well mannered barista informed me it was running for near 2.5 years! I had a soy piccalo and it was perfect. I would definitely return.

Bad customer service. I am quite appalled at the customer service at the ESPL coffee shop in surfers, I went in there Sunday morning ( 15th march)to get a morning coffee , I was the ONLY customer in the shop and both of the girls couldn't even acknowledge me after 5 minutes of standing there waiting to order, they weren't busy at all, they were just being rude,I ended up just walking out and going to the coffee shop down the road where I actually got customer service . I'm in customer service my self, and even if u are busy it's nice to say hi, and that u will be with them shorty! ( it's not hard)

Nice cafe. The coffee at this location is good and the milk temperature and texture are beautiful. Great location on the beach front. The one problem encountered was the loud rap music that kinda killed the vibe, but all and all I would still go back here.

Love this place. Amazing location and modern fitout make ESPL stand out from the rest. Coffee was great and staff were pretty chilled out. Only problem was they didn't do large coffees in mugs - only one size. First world problems! Overall a top spot.<br/>Almonds croissants are worth a visit alone 👌🏽

Sorry but I found the coffee quite milky with hardly any flavour coming through & for the teenie weeny cup size should have had plently of flavour even with one shot. $3.80 for that small size was a little over the top too. Plenty of better places for coffee in Surfers, however the barista could have had a bad day so will revisit to check for consistancy to be fair
